A place with a view. Outstanding view over the ocean, rent the apartment for that! The area is wild , with rocks into the ocean. Lovely place to bath, but it takes a little strength to come the ocean and some stairs to walk. Out of the season is there not many other people.

This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfectly set up for guests - clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The highlight is definitely the balcony, from there you have a stunning view of Catania and Etna. The location is ideal for exploring the region, with Taormina, Noto, Syracuse, Ragusa all within easy reach (1 to 1.5h drive, a car is a must!). The host was incredibly friendly. He gave us lots of tips for the region and communication was very easy. If you want to visit the south and/or east of Sicily, this is definitely a top place to stay!

De omgeving waarin het verblijf is gelegen, is ronduit fantastisch. Het terras, de grote tuin met veel bomen, struiken en bloemen én het uitzicht op zee is uniek, een paradijs. Een auto is wel een noodzaak om ter plaatse te geraken, boodschappen en uitstappen te doen. Ons contact met Maria Novella en Federico was heel hartelijk. De tips (restaurants en interessante bezienswaardigheden) die zij ons gaven waren goud waard. Gebruik zeker de opgegeven coördinaten om zonder problemen ter plekke te geraken. Het verblijf is anders niet zo gemakkelijk te vinden. Kortom deze plek is er ééntje uit de duizend, de verhuurders weten nog wat de echte filosofie van AirBnb kan zijn.

Vi fick ett mycket bra mottagande vid incheckning. Under vår vistelse hade vi god kontakt med värden och kunde få tips om lokala sevärdheter och restauranger.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautifully appointed apartment in Noto. The space was thoughtfully furnished with a perfect blend of comfort and style, and the tile work throughout was absolutely stunning—such a lovely touch that added to the charm of the home. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps away from the heart of town, yet still peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was the terrace: a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or unwind in the evening with views of the rooftops and surrounding beauty. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Noto!

Super séjour chez Alessandra qui a été aux petits soins avec nous. Hôte très accueillante et souriante. À notre arrivée, Alessandra nous avait laissé de quoi manger (pâte, sauce tomate, bouteille de vin, jus de fruit etc …), ce qui est très appréciable ! L’appartement est très bien placé dans la résidence, à proximité de la piscine et nous avions une très belle vue sur l’Etna. Très bonne position géographique pour visiter l’Est de la Sicile. Un endroit parfait pour passer un séjour en famille. Encore merci à Alessandra.

Francescos Wohnung ist großzügig, sehr hell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Du kannst vom Balkon aus den Leuchtturm und das Meer sehen. Der Self Check-In funktioniert wunderbar problemlos. Francesco ist ein guter Gastgeber und hat immer superschnell und unkompliziert kommuniziert. Er gibt Tipps für Besichtigungen (Danke, das Castello habe ich mir am Sonntag angeschaut!) und hilft bei allen Fragen. Das WiFi ist stabil und eignet sich auch gut für Videocalls, falls nötig. Ich würde in jedem Fall wiederkommen und kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour de deux mois dans cet appartement idéalement situé en Sicile. L'appartement offre une vue imprenable sur l'Etna et se trouve à quelques pas seulement du bord de mer. La communication avec le propriétaire a été parfaite dès le début : réactivité, disponibilité et gentillesse ont rendu l'expérience très agréable. Pour un séjour prolongé, les équipements sont impeccables, notamment la présence d'une machine à laver et d'un sèche-linge, très pratiques au quotidien. Le logement dispose également d'un grand écran TV dans le salon, ainsi qu'une télévision supplémentaire dans la chambre, pour un confort optimal. Enfin, le parking privé sécurisé est un vrai plus, permettant de garer la voiture en toute tranquillité. Je recommande vivement cet appartement pour sa qualité, son emplacement privilégié et l'accueil chaleureux du propriétaire. Merci pour cette belle expérience en Sicile !

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! The host was incredibly responsive — quick to answer any questions and always just a message away with helpful tips and recommendations. The check-in process was seamless, and the space was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. You can tell the host really cares about their guests’ comfort. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Logement idéalement situé pour visiter la côte est de la Sicile, à proximité de l’aéroport. L’endroit est calme et accueillant. L’arrivée même tardive s’est très bien déroulée. Je recommande ce lieu.

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Marta was a wonderful host - extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean aapartment. Beautiful views of the sea and we loved the balcony. It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Stefano’s place. Perfect location close to everything and we loved having a drink on the terrace before dinner. Would 100% recommend.

Great location in the middle of everything in Catania. The neighborhood is very vibrant, music and people all around, however it decreased in the evening and never interfered with our sleep. The hosts were very helpful pointing out attractions and entertainment, also recommendations for restaurants as well as grocery stores. Very close to the Piazza del Duomo, the shopping district on Via Etnea, Ursino Castle, Greek-Roman theater, as well as many fine restaurants. Less than 15 minute cab ride to the airport as well.

Livio was a very accommodating host. Great location. We had a great stay!

Virginie was one of the most helpful and proactive hosts we have come across at airbandb. She made booking in really easy and gave us lots of really useful information about the area. The apartment itself was much bigger than we expected. It was 5 star - clean, comfortable, quiet, great facilities. There were lovely places to eat and drink around the corner and we were able to walk to all the main areas. Thank you, Virginie!!
