Wedding weekend at the Château de Brie (if you are sightseeing in the area, this beautiful estate is worth visiting) we enjoyed our few hours of rest in Jeannette's very peaceful little house. We couldn't meet but we had very good exchanges with Jeannette to prepare for our arrival.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

we ended up in a rural area, with a charming French house with lovely garden. We were allowed to check in earlier and were welcomed by a friendly host, who showed us around the house. There were plenty of brochures about the area and even a book in Dutch with the history of Ordanour-sur-Glane. We visited the memoriam center. Very impressive. Thierry gave me cuttings of plants for home in our garden. So friendly. He has plans to grow more parts of his farm as accommodation for tourists. Nice to come back again and stay a little longer and see more of the area.

Very nice rental, a real joy. yes I confirm a paradise the accommodation is impeccable and feels like home we enjoyed the pool, a joy, and it was heated Brigitte and Michel are available if needed and give you good advice to visit their regions which are beautiful we'll be happy to go back. thanks for everything you're the best

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We would totally recommend this place and we will definitely return. Kim and Carol

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement calme, paisible et bien entretenu. Nous avons notamment pu profité des équipements exterieurs (barbecue, piscine, jeux d'exterieurs disponibles), ce qui fut très agréable. La communication avec l'hôte a été excellente, James est très réactif, et informe sur les différentes activités/restaurants locaux. Encore merci pour ce séjour, je recommande.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

A great weekend of rest and sharing in this little corner of heaven! The environment is heavenly, and the place is really lovely!

beautiful peaceful place accompanied by the croaking of frogs and the jumps of carp...a treat...the spa with an overwhelming heat a real delight... on the other hand disappointed not to be able to lock the door, the sofa really not comfortable even if we spent our time outside the cottage, the duvet with a lot of stains...without these small downsides, the stay was idyllic, the region is waiting to be discovered!!! very discreet and welcoming owners

The place is very beautiful, the garden very large and peaceful, the house functional. The relations with Mélanie were very responsive and friendly. A very good cottage with a very pleasant and quiet environment, great owners!! I definitely recommend this cottage

A beautiful, well equipped little gîte, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is so peaceful, and within a few minutes drive of les lacs de Haute Charente, which are ideal for dog walking. We loved meeting Harry the resident dog. Thank you to Anneguus and Dirk, for being so welcoming. I hope to return some day.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

Un véritable havre de paix ! Nous avons passé un séjour ressourçant chez Nadine dans un gîte accueillant, soigné, décoré avec goût. Le cadre est idyllique et Nadine nous a conseillé dans les visites et lieux à voir aux alentours. Nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir !

Un vrai havre de paix. Les hôtes ont aménagé ce gîte avec beaucoup de créativité, de charme et de soin. Nous avons commandé la planche dînatoire, qui était aussi belle que copieuse. Je recommande vivement ce gîte exceptionnel pour une expérience inoubliable.
