A little break between one-night friends that was just perfect for recharging the batteries. The cottage is a little gem between the pool, the spa, the view, and the surrounding calm. We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in the countryside, this is the place to be! The view is magnificent, the sunset a dream. The treehouse is comfortably furnished, in the kitchen there are the most important utensils so you can cook well at home. In the vicinity there are countless small tranquil villages, which are among the most beautiful places in France. In the preseason, some activities, such as canoeing, are usually not yet open, which did not bother us as we mainly focused on hiking and resting. Anne is a wonderful hostess - she was quickly available for questions and stopped by if necessary. Gladly again :-)

We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

Very pleasant stay in this small cottage, very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we will be happy to return to on a future trip!

Great apartment right in the center of Sarlat's market area! It is very cozy and provides easy access to all the town has to offer. Parking was very convenient nearby as well.

very welcoming hosts, Hope was delighted with her neighbor. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us, but the person is not responsible. We loved Collonges la Rouge, Sarlat, and the little train in Martel.

We had a great weekend at Laure's, at the dovecote. The setting is conducive to disconnection. The famous village Collonges la rouge is within easy walking distance and beautiful walks are to be taken. The accommodation, atypical, was clean and provided all the necessary equipment. A welcome organic apple juice was waiting for us. A big thank you to Laure for her communication, kindness and flexibility on our departure time. A beautiful place to decompress!

Very nice quiet house with two large bedrooms. There were a few basic products missing in the kitchen (oil, salt, sugar, etc.). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardening), with the possibility of tractors being present.

Great Gite in a very tranquil and peaceful location. Well situated for visiting Brantôme and Perigueux and the surrounding area. Christian was very friendly and explained everything well when we arrived. Would recommend this host and this Gite if you like exploring rural France.

What a delight to arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a well-kept, tree-lined park with a large shared swimming pool. An exceptional welcome from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very gentle and generous, and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. It's a pleasure to open the windows in the morning, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It is a haven of peace with a beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

Beynac et Cazanac is such a stunning setting and we were back for a second visit. Catherine's place is absolutely perfect, the pictures, although beautiful don't live up to the real thing. It is magical. The bedrooms are all lovely, comfortable beds, pillows and lovely linens. Each room has it's own charm. And there are 2.5 bathrooms! The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room lovely but we were so lucky to have a sunny and warm week in mid September that we were outside for all meals and most of the time. We were in the pool a few times each day and could not get enough of the view. Lots to watch on the river as it was full of bright canoes every day. Hot air balloons floated by most every day, some almost close enough to touch. At night the castles are lit up in the distance...simply stunning. The town is so historic with cobbled streets and medieval houses, no surprise movies are filmed here. But the best part is how peaceful it is, hard to leave. Great shops too

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Very nice week spent at Raphaël's. The accommodation is very well located for sightseeing. The house is very cool in hot weather, clean with lots of privacy and a beautiful view. We will not hesitate to come back for a future stay

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Shelley and her cute dog. The accommodation is cute, located in a quiet area, in beautiful nature. The place is really beautiful and peaceful. The pool is lovely. Shelley is a very nice host and very nice to meet. It's a home where you can feel good.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. Large property, quiet, clean, with a beautiful outdoor pool. The house is spacious enough for 8 people. Big plus: the house is very well equipped (coffee, sugar, breakfast, tea towel, toilet paper...). For a short stay like ours, it was a nice surprise to find all these amenities on site. Xavier was very welcoming and accommodating throughout the stay. Thank you
