Cabin holiday rentals in Comox Valley

The cabin was everhthing we wanted and needed. We had an absolute fabulous stay. It’s isolated enough that you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but it’s still close enough to Courtenay so you’re close to the shops etc. Because of the location, it’s very peaceful. The cabin was cozy; the bed was really comfortable and the wood fire hot tub was such a neat experience! We definetely want to come back, maybe when there is snow because it must be magical.

We had a wonderful stay at Karla’s home. We enjoyed the ski facilities, used the kitchen regularly and slept peacefully in a clean and comfortable house. Thank you Karla. We hope to return again.

Our stay at Ekta & Peter's place was absolutely wonderful! Before we even realized our ferry mishap would affect our plans, Ekta proactively called to offer adjusting our dates – such a thoughtful gesture that saved our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by Ekta, Peter, and their charming chickens who showed us around. The cabin is a perfect forest retreat – cozy, well-stocked, and filled with natural light through skylights and windows framing the trees. Just a few hundred metres away, Grassy Point Park offered beautiful ocean views and birdwatching. The private jacuzzi nestled among the trees was especially magical at night. Ekta's artistic touch shines throughout, from her beautiful pottery (which you actually use!) to the playful chicken-themed touches. Prepare to be charmed by more whimsical chicken decor than you ever thought was possible, plus real chickens leaping for berries outside the cabin! We can’t wait to be back!

Had an incredible stay on Mt. Washington at Ski Bunny Betsy's. The home was beyond beautiful and extremely clean. The view was incredibly peaceful and the giant hot tub was a huge bonus! The master bed was extremely comfortable with lost of pillows and crisp linens. Kitchen was a dream to cook in. Lots of space throughout including high ceilings and great communication with Handsome Dan. Can't wait for our next visit!

Beautiful location. Lee was flexible when we needed to check in later than planned. She gave us a helpful walk-through of where to find things to do on the property, such as the firepit, yard, hot tub, etc., and how to get to the beach. Very responsive and a comfortable place.

This is a hidden gem and can't say enough positive things about it! The property is stunning and even more beautiful than the photos do credit. Its not far out from Powell River with close access to biking and other activities in the area. The place felt private, was clean, had comfortable beds and pullout, BBQ, and functional little kitchen. There is a big deck overlooking the ocean and great campfire pit. The real highlight of the property is the hot tub with sunset views and easy access down to the beach for a swim. Paul was friendly and super responsive. We absolutely plan to come back soon.

Worked well for my family. Unique place, great sunrise view, fairly well stocked kitchen, and close to ski resort. The hot tub was great to come back to after a day of skiing.

Place was perfect. Close to everything. Beaches, hikes, etc. Cabin was cozy and a nice spot to lay the head after a day of activities. Loved closing out each day at the fire pit with a cold refreshment. Dogs loved the fenced in area. Front deck was a nice spot for morning coffee. Thanks for the great stay. Would stay again.

Our family travelled to visit our friends who live in Bowser. Becky’s place was truly what we needed! Cozy, family cabin vibes. We will for sure be coming back! Becky is a great host. Easy to communicate with and went out of her way to deliver an item we forgot to our friends!

Absolutely beautiful location. When the tide was out, my family and our dog roamed the beach looking at sand dollars and crabs. Loved the cozy feel of the wood stove. Could’ve stayed longer!

The space is cosy and well-equipped - especially the kitchen, which had everything needed for home-cooked meals. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. I loved how close the cabin is to walking trails, the beach, and the charming local town - everything felt just a short stroll or drive away. But truly, what made the experience exceptional were the hosts, Tammy and Michael. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality made us feel not just welcomed, but like part of the family. This is the kind of place you don’t just visit once - you return to, like visiting loved ones. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and heartfelt connection.

Wonderfully secluded getaway in tranquil natural surroundings. Just enough amenities to take care of all needs, with a friendly and helpful host. A comfortable bed and the sounds of the river nearby make for excellent sleep.

This cabin was beyond cozy—just the right size with a beautiful, calming aesthetic. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and while private, it never felt too isolated. The sauna was a perfect way to unwind after exploring. Comfortable beds, abundance of hot water, and having laundry on-site were great additions. The evening lighting outside created such a nice ambiance, and we appreciated the labels on light switches and clear instructions for the thermostat. Thoughtful touches from L&M for our Golden, Murphy, made him feel just as welcome as we did. The fully enclosed yard gave us peace of mind—especially being in the heart of nature. Not far from the most gorgeous nature walk, and not a far drive for key amenities. Big shout out to Laurel for the pet friendly patio recommendations! This wasn’t only a magical property… but experience in itself. We hope to be back in the future. Thank you so much for making our mini-moon memorable.

Fantastic location. The views and animals start right from the cabin and onto the beach. So easy.

This cabin is an absolute paradise! Nestled among tall trees with stunning ocean views, it’s the perfect escape into nature. The home is filled with charm and character — every detail has been thoughtfully chosen, from the cozy decor to the amazing collection of books. You can really feel the care and love Patricia put into this place. It’s more than just a stay — it’s an experience. A must-visit if you want to truly slow down and feel the beauty of life.

Jennifer’s cabin by the sea is spectacular! The View was so hard to leave! We wanted a place centrally located between the spread out spots we wanted to visit while on the island: Victoria, Tofino, Campbell River, and close to the Ferry. The cabin was very accommodating for us and Jennifer was quick to respond to answer any questions about the area. I highly recommend this cabin if you’re on Vancouver Island. A Sunset fire at the beach is a must-do! It’s stocked with wood and ready for you!
