Guests are also welcome to the living/rec room area, if requested. Our house is very close to UVA main grounds, North Grounds, stadium, lots of shopping and dining, movies, downtown Charlottesville, West Main Area and Vineyards. *My husband, son, dog, cat and I live upstairs, so you may hear us at times!

A 30 minute walk downtown, a bus stop one block away, & bike & scooter rentals make it much faster! Easy access to 250 bypass make Downtown & 29 North equally convenient destinations! Perfect for a couple with a young baby or toddler! Guests must acknowledge that footsteps and sound from our living area can be noisy!

The Hummingbird is a cozy, quiet, apartment in my home. It has a private entrance, is 2 rooms and is perfect for a getaway. It is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. It is minutes to historic downtown Charlottesville and UVA. Wineries are also easy to get to. I provide a few baked goodies as I have a small on premises bakery where I make scones, quiche and seasonal pies for our local Farmer's Market. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the quiet and privacy.

Our place is a newly constructed barn loft in our 1960's barn. Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from large windows and a private balcony. The barn is surrounded by our horse pastures and neighboring fields. Self check in with the key lockbox. This loft is separate from the main house where we live. Private parking and entrance for our guests directly outside of barn loft (this is separate from the main house driveway).
