Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Commes

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Vincent is a great host. He was very accommodating with our check-in time. He greeted us at the apartment and showed us how everything works. Very responsive to our inquiries. The apartment is less than a 2-minute walk from downtown Bayeux, spacious, and well appointed. I highly recommend this place.

The apt. was clean, and well equipped. Parking spot right in front is a bonus as is an outdoor seating area and washer/dryer in back. Walking distance to everything. An FYI is you will need to clean, including mopping or pay a $15e fee. Not a problem, just good to know.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Logement en tout point conforme à la description. Prestations haut de gamme. Environnement sécurisé. Terrasse avec vue imprenable sur le port. Excellente expérience, je recommande sans hesitation.

Pour passer un.moment a deux, au calme avec tous les charmes de Deauville tout proche. L'appartement completement équipé. Très bien agencé, et SURTOUT la vue est magnifique sans aucun vis a vis. Vue mer, port de plaisance, Trouville. Une vue a 180 degrés grace aux belles baies. Vrament un tres bon moment. Merci Claire.

Zeer fijne plek in het centrum van Caen. Alles op loopafstand makkelijk te doen, voor verdere bestemmingen binnen Caen is er een tram station recht voor de deur. Al met al een hele fijne mooie plek om te zijn als je de stad van Caen wil bezoeken.

The best thing about staying here was the reception from Dominique & his wife & the location. They gave us a great introduction to the history of the area, the house and his personal connection to the Normandy landings. This was a country stay with a mishmash of furniture - this is not one of those new IKEA style Airbnbs - it felt a very authentic. All the important things worked, including great WIFI. We slept well thanks to a comfy bed, nice bed linen and black out blinds, you have a kettle and a Nespresso machine & everything to make a simple meal - 2 electric hot plates and a microwave. They were very gracious is letting us use their washing machine & dryer in the garage. The apartment is at one end of the house - up a flight of stairs, where you find an open plan kitchen/dining/living room & pull out bed, TV shower room/toilet. Up more stairs is a huge bedroom, with a standard double & a single bed. We loved all the reading books translated into English. A memorable stay

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.

We had a lovely 3 night stay there. Carine was responsive and friendly, checking in on use from time to time. We were able to check in earlier. The place is convenient, walkable to all that central Bayeux has to offer. Clean, comfortable place. The beds were the comfortable we had in our 31 days across Europe. Would definitely come back.

Elsa’s place provided our group of ten friends the perfect place to stay, cook meals together and explore the area. We were primarily interested in visiting memorial sights of D-Day and Elsa’s place in Arromanches was a great home base. The dramatic, wind swept beach view is spectacular. We definitely could have stayed longer.

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend dans le gîte de Nicolas ! La maison est vraiment spacieuse et très agréable à vivre. Nicolas est venu nous accueillir pour nous faire visiter la maison. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la petite attention envers notre toutou (gamelle à disposition et proposition de balades !). Nous avons très bien dormi, au calme de la campagne. Merci Nicolas pour la gentillesse de son accueil !

Nous avons passé un séjour très chaleureux dans cette superbe maison, hyper bien rénovée ! Tout s'est excellemment bien passé. Bonne continuation à vous !

Stayed here in May of 2025 with my wife and 2 children (7,10). This is the French countryside property you probably dream about when you plan your French vacation. It is beautiful, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The garden is one of the most beautiful I have seen and adds a whole new element to your stay. It is within easy walking distance to all of the sites and restaurants in Bayeux, and less than 30 mins drive from the D-Day sites. A couple items to consider - not negatives but just worth knowing: 1 - There are 2 bedrooms and 1 extra room with a small bed. 4 adults could stay here. The twin bed in the other room is q tad small for a large adult. The stairs to the second floor are a tad small and unwieldy. This was a slight stressor with our children staying in the upstairs room, would not recommend for anyone who would struggle with stairs. The downstairs bed can be arranged as 2 twins or a king. Note that the king is just the 2 twins pushed together with bedding.

L'appartement est très cosy et bien décoré. Fidèle aux photos. Il y a tout le nécessaire sur place. La résidence est très jolie et calme. Marie Danielle est une hôte très réactive et arrangeante. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement impeccable, rénové récemment, avec vue sur la mer. Pas besoin de voiture, tout est à distance à pied, on a profité de la digue et de la plage de sable fin. Merci à Christelle pour son accueil, ses consignes et ses conseils.

Notre deuxième séjour dans cet apartement - toujours aussi idéale pour passer quelques jours à Deauville .. l'emplacement, l'équipement, l'éspace .. et les réponses / réactivité de Charlotte au top! Merci!

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Nous sommes deux couples de québécois qui souhaitions visiter les plages du débarquement et ses musées. L'appartement a très bien répondu à nos attentes: il est très bien situé (à 25 minutes à pied du musée de Juno Beach, notamment), dans un secteur tranquille. L'appartement comme tel est vraiment confortable, très propre, avec une cuisine bien équipée. Le lit et le divan-lit sont parfaits, nous avons tous très bien dormi! Merci Valérie et Manuel pour ce séjour exceptionnel!
