Gathered as a family of 8. Given the gloomy and sometimes rainy weather, the indoor pool was used a lot. Close to the landing beaches and Pegasus Bridge. House furnished and tastefully decorated. Suitable for 8 people. Very nice rental.

We had a wonderful family vacation in this very nice house. Everything is available and furnished with great attention to detail. The two bathrooms should certainly be overhauled in the foreseeable future, but this has not detracted from the charm of the house. The property and the garden as well as the location of the house in a tiny village resemble a small paradise. It is only a short distance to Port en Bessin, the place with its harbor is beautiful. Many thanks to the landlords and also to the weather god, who gave us a week of France in the sunshine.

If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

Wonderful stay and highly recommended. Julie’s place was as advertised: clean, comfortable, very well-equipped. The location was ideal, with many restaurants and shops within an easy walk near the harbor. Normandy historical sites were a short drive.

The cottage is pleasant in a quiet and friendly environment. The description of the accommodation matches the reality, the kitchen is well equipped making it easy to prepare our Christmas meals. Nevertheless, it would have been nice if the accommodation was well heated when we arrived, a welcome at 14° C was a bit difficult, fortunately the house has an efficient wood stove.

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

We had a great stay! The place was just like the pictures—very clean and well set up. The price was reasonable, and they even had toys for the kids, which was a nice touch. We really appreciated the welcome guide and the bottle of cider they left for us. Romain was excellent—friendly, easy to talk to, and gave us great suggestions on places to visit. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern and lovingly furnished. There was everything you need. The location is great, several restaurants are within minutes walking. I would like to highlight the fast and friendly communication with the hostess. I felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

Fantastic location! If you love history, nature, quaint shops and restaurants, beautiful surroundings, and historic archetecture, you will love it here. It was my favorite stop in my travels through five countries over three months. The town is magical and of course, the town is a short drive or bus ride to the Normandy D-day beaches and quaint fishing villages/harbors. The loft is spacious, well-appointed, and has great views of town. The building is old (about 400 years old, I think), so you must forgive it some rough edges, so to speak. But, it was warm (I was there the month of January), comfortable, and met all my needs. Wonderful, warm, responsive hosts. Grocery next door, restaurants and pastry shops up and down the street. I could not have asked for more.

The host was welcoming and gave us the information to access the listing. The location is perfect because in the heart of Bayeux and 2 minutes from the cathedral. I would definitely recommend the owner and the space.

Very nice studio... excellent location in relation to the landing beaches (neither too far nor too close) and shops. We spent 3 nights there and slept well because it was very quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at Jonas' apartment. It had plenty of room for 3 of us and everything worked well. We loved the home's spacious garden / back yard. The building was quiet and pretty. Restaurants were a short walk. When we did drive, it did not take long to find street parking upon return.

The place is even nicer than the pictures. Everything is magnificent, well thought out, pretty. We had a perfect stay. The sea is just around the corner. And Delphine is available and responsive. I'd recommend it without a second thought

Small studio ideally located in Cabourg, with magnificent sea view. In my opinion, ideal for a romantic weekend. Karine is a very nice and very available host

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

Cute and beautifully decorated apartment! Nothing is missing in terms of equipment and everything is very functional. You feel good right away because of the generosity of the hosts (toiletries, coffee, tea, chocolate, groceries to make a vinaigrette, etc.) The state of cleanliness is of a level rarely (if not never) encountered. We are a little obsessive, but everything inspires confidence: fresh towels, sheets that smell like laundry, fitted sheets with the clean side facing up, fresh dish towels and new sponges... We would have stayed longer! Thank you, Marine and Fred!

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, we immediately noticed a very pleasant scent and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was ready under the stairs in the entrance area, which we appreciated very much, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. My son and I stayed 2 nights in Yannicks apartment, it has restored my faith in air bnb after a dreadful experience in Paris, the apartment is better than the pictures, the location is 10/10, the apartment was immaculately clean, I slept on the sofa and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since arriving in France 1 week ago. The town of Bayeux is the prettiest town I have ever seen and the apartment was 5 minutes walk to everything we needed. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment Yannick.

The apartment is superb. It's well equipped. Olivier was very attentive and answered our questions. The place is very nice and is an ideal starting point to visit the beaches of Desembarco and the part of L'Havre. Very close to the beach. I recommend it 100%
