Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Columbus County

This house is even better than the photos. It is full of thoughtful details. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of bath towels, and everything was super clean. The kitchen contains plenty of glasses, mugs, and dishes. The living room is comfortable and cozy. The outdoor shower is amazing. There are multiple sitting areas in the yard. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We loved it. Our stay was wonderful and the owners were responsive in every way. Vallarie is friendly and it was a delight to speak to her on the phone. Thank you, Vallarie, for making our visit so special!

Edie’s place was SPOTLESS! This was an amazing house/ property. I will say I originally judge the place, but it blew me away. We stayed four nights and 100% would stay here again if available. The air was incredible. The only downside is in the day I wanted to use the AC and it didn't work that well so I end up keeping it off and opening up all windows at night it was in the 70s so sleeping with the windows open you got a really good breeze. I never contact Edie to let her know about it so it's not her fault. The peace and the rest that I got was amazing. I also communicated with her quite a few times before even booking and she helped me out a lot immediately responded to every message I sent her and that’s something I really did appreciate. Even though I didn't use the kitchen if I wanted to everything was there that was needed and the welcome gift of snacks was appreciated. Thank you, Edie.

Lisa and Terra’s home is beautiful. And it’s on a lake! I especially loved being able to see all the way through the house out to the lake while making coffee in the kitchen before taking the mug out to the dock. What a serene setting! I very much enjoyed a quiet few days with my dog here. Called my bestie on the drive home and told her what a great place it would be for a girls’ weekend. Hope to return for that! The nearby state park and Waccamaw Lake Dam were fun to explore, and the house was spotless with super comfy bedding and furnishings. Incredibly friendly hosts! Thank you, Lisa and Terra!

Lee's home was exceptional! Lee as a host, could not ask for anyone better. His home was very clean, with a great gathering area in the back yard. Location of the home was in a good spot, kind of center between Oak Island / Southport and Holden / Shalotte area. Lee is very friendly and easy to communicate with and i would definitely rent from him and recommend him to others.

Took my queen to get away for the weekend,met some great people very peaceful. I would recommend this place if you like fishing, also the beach is only 30 minutes away!

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The host was easy to communicate to and responsive when we needed to reach out. The property was well kept and the amenities that came with the house were great! We would definitely stay here again!

I did enjoy my nice day. I was coming for a rest and relaxation not so much recreation. It was very quiet which I liked. The house was clean. The host was especially nice and helpful. My only suggestion would it would be to put some nicer chairs on the back porch.

We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this home. It is also a great spot if you are attending an event at the Blessed Barn as we were.

The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and relaxing. The view of the river was great and we had such a wonderful time sitting by the river, seeing the animals, and cooking on the gas stove in the cabin! We met both of the hosts, who were welcoming and friendly. I would definitely would stay again and would recommend.

Ginger and her husband greeted my kids and I when we arrived and even offered to help me carry my items up. Ginger also offered to go to the store for me when I told her I had to go and get items for my baby and that really touched my heart that she was willing to go out of her way to help me. The place looked exactly like the pictures and was super cute. I really enjoyed my stay and my kids did also. Ginger was very responsive if I had any questions about anything. Her and her husband were so friendly anytime we seen them and I really liked that. I will definitely be staying again the next time I have to make a trip down in that area! :)

We had the most delightful time. Larry is personable and a great communicator. We loved the farm like atmosphere yet being close to town. Stella and Remy were the best part of our stay. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

We had a fantastic stay during our two-week work trip. The home had everything we needed and more—comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with all the essentials. Charlyne was an outstanding host: incredibly responsive, flexible, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our entire stay. Her hospitality made everything smooth and stress-free. We truly felt at home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We hope to stay here again the next time we come for work.

This little cabin is an absolute triple threat. You get the country, stunning river view, and only a short drive to the beach. The cabin was immaculately cleaned and well stocked with toiletries, etc. The air units can be set to keep it nice and cool and the beds were clean and comfortable. No mosquitoes even though the river is literally across the little road. Nice surprise for sure. The noise level was surprisingly very quiet even for the weekend. Check-in can't get any simpler and direct. I used the furniture from the porch to block the stairs and my fur baby could chill on the porch with me too. Host was extremely responsive and polite. We didn't get to use the fire pit this time but I imagine it would be amazing especially when it's cold out. And last but not least, the neighbors.... from Colby in the cut to Becky in the back, I was treated with respect and kindness. And they were those type of neighbors that aren't in your business too. I can't wait to visit again.

I will definitely book again! This place was a hidden gem! The quiet area, the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere was the perfect getaway in Columbus county. I enjoyed fishing, the dock, the back porch and I had a wonderful trip! The host was proactive and friendly! She left great advice and instructions. I slept so peacefully!
