Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Columbia-Shuswap

We felt right at home here. The beds were soooo comfy, even adults sleeping in the bunkbeds slept well! Loved the games too, made for some fun family nights. Very well stocked kitchen, spices, tupperware, crock pot, and every other little thing. We loved it here. Quiet and tucked away but not too far at all from Golden. Great springboard to Yoho, kootenay, glacier and Banff.

We absolutely loved this place! We are a group of 8 with 3 kids and this place was perfect for our group. There was plenty of space for each family to have their own rooms. Having an outdoor area for the kids to run around in and explore was perfect. It was so nice to be just outside of town and have peace and quiet. We would come back here again and again!

We had a fantastic stay in Blind Bay. Brad’s place has an amazing view on the lake, spacious kitchen and bedrooms and was extremely clean. The check-in was super easy and we loved the time there.

Pro’s: Krista was a great host. Easy to reach when I had any questions and always seemed happy to help. This place is just as beautiful as the photos. It’s spacious and comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay plus so much more. Lots of rooms and nice big beds to comfortably host larger groups. Air conditioning worked great and was such a blessing on those extremely hot days. So many games and activities to always have something fun to do. My group wants to book it again ASAP. Con: The only minor con was that the property does back onto the highway. They did a great job installing a huge wooden fence which gives you 100% privacy. The only thing I’d suggest is to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Place was awesome. It was private no one to bug you. Hot tub is a great place to go after a long day of sledding or just even a couple games of pool. Lots of parking had two truck and trailers they fit side by side in the parking lot. Definitely recommend this place for a nice peaceful private place to stay on ur vacation.

Loved every minute of this place! Beautiful views, loved seeing the horses in the morning, hot tub was perfect after days of hiking. House felt like home. Host was very kind and responsive! Thank you for having such a beautiful place for others to enjoy!

Adam’s place was very nice and in a nice quiet town! I could see this place being a great spot during the ski months also. We ran out of time, but there were quite a few spring/summer exploration options close by. Would be a great place to go back to and see all that we missed. Thanks Adam!

We absolutely loved Deb’s place. Tranquil and peaceful, very clean, and a short drive to charming local restaurants and the farmer’s market. Kitchen has everything you need to cook, bathroom well stocked with towels and amenities and washer and dryer are always appreciated when travelling. We enjoyed a wonderful stay.

With family coming from Vancouver and Calgary, Revelstoke was central. The ability to put on a full turkey dinner with all the fixens for Thanksgiving and all required pots, pans and utensils are already there was fabulous. Looking into pre booking for next year.

I have stayed at a ton of Airbnb’s and this was by far my favourite. Lisa’s space is so beautiful, so clean, so quiet and comfortable. The view from the unit is stunning and it has a private patio for you to sit outside and enjoy. The unit has everything you could possibly need and feels just like home - dishwasher, laundry, multiple options for coffee, a massive bedroom closet to hang your things, full size appliances, a gorgeous bathtub and shower, tons of lighting options, fast wifi, throw blankets, extra towels, and on and on and on. Lisa is so kind and responsive and has decorated the unit with tons of gorgeous touches. I can’t recommend Lisa’s place enough if you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful, comfortable stay in Sicamous.

We had a great time. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and lots of little extra’s like games and stuff for the beach. We felt safe and thought the unit location was very central with quick access to the pool and lake! Everyone we encountered at the resort was friendly and helpful! We would love to come stay here again!

Good value and really not too far to Revelstoke. Just a few minutes. 4 people would be tight, two was ideal and allowed room to dry gear. Try Peaks Lodge across the street for breakfast, dinner, or a drink.

Technically our 3rd stay at Taunia's suite, and there will be more. For the cleanliness its worth every dollar! She is a great host, friendly and very responsive to any requests and messages. You wont find a cleaner "pet" friendly suite anywhere. Great pub across the highway, quiet suite at night and not downtown, so a very peaceful setting. Highly recommended!!

My family and I stayed 2 nights at Sheraz's condo. It's brand new and across from the entrance to Revelstoke. It's also only a few minute drive to the downtown. We loved the bakery downstairs and it was a big value add. The space worked well for 6 adults with each couple having their own bathroom. It would be nice if you could slide the twin beds together to create a king sized beds if adults are sleeping in that room. One thing that was a little shocking was the construction of the golf course across the street. There's this beautiful deck but the view of the mountains it met with piles of dirt and electrical wires. The photos felt like they strategically block it out and it felt slightly misleading (the listing does mention construction). Luckily this is temporary and it will be great once finished. Overall we found the condo to be a good value for our short stay.

We loved Blue Spruce! The neighborhood was gorgeous, the apartment was so cute, good temperature, well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings-the while package!

Had an amazing time at the Boulder Mountain Resort. This cabin was so cozy and quaint. There were so many thoughtful touches and we loved the amenities like the hot tub, sauna, and COFFEE. Perfect spot if you’re looking to do some glamping!

This was one of the best rental properties we have ever stayed at. Extremely comfortable for 2 couples with loads of amenities. Anything we could have wanted, the property had. Not only was the view from the cabin stunning, the location was was the perfect home base for exploring Banff, Yoho and Glacier National Parks. Also only a few miles from the Golden Skybridge and adventure park. The hot tub and steam shower were added bonuses. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The town of Golden was just a quick drive down the road and had everything we needed from great restaurants (Eleven22, Red Tomato Pies, The Wolf's Den, Turning Point), to brew houses, and full grocery stores (hit up the Save-on-Foods over the IGA). We also had amazing luck during our stay and got to see the northern lights one evening - lifetime bucket list item checked off! We couldn't have asked for more from Wendy's property. Thanks a million for a truly memorable stay. We are already talking about visiting again!

Wonderful stay at the Smiley Wolf Cabin! The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfy and the towels & linens were great. The kitchen was well equipped. Ben was a friendly and responsive host. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this lovely place.

Cozy getaway cabin close to downtown Golden. Beautiful views from all areas in the home and hot tub. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Tina’s cabin was exactly as described—perfect for a family and felt like home the moment we arrived. The groundskeeper was very friendly, even bringing us firewood and staying for a pleasant chat. The town of Golden is about a 20-minute drive away, making it easy to stock up on groceries or do laundry. *Tip- the local IGA gives 10% off your first purchase if you sign up for their rewards! National parks along Highway 1 were easy to access, with popular hiking trails ranging from 40 minutes to 1.5 hours away. I feel so lucky we chose this cabin—its location was ideal. Falling asleep while staring at the mountain peaks was pure heaven. 100% recommend!

The blue house as my kids called it, was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 4. I wish we had stayed here for our whole trip to the Rockies. The house was super clean, big and open inside and private. We felt right at home. The views of the mountains were amazing. The hot tub was lovely. The walk to the river was easy and great. After putting our kids to bed we came upstairs and there were deer outside the living room window; a real treat to see! We visited Mount Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho from here. We would love to come back here and base camp here for more Rocky Mountain exploring! Crista was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed for our family! Can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was fantastic with an amazing view of the mountains. Tina and Steve’s communication was great. There are a couple of nice trails that takes you to the river. The cabin was very clean and tidy. We will be back again for sure!
