Good place to stay cheap price close to everything.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The view of the Columbia River was amazing; it was perfect for morning coffee and relaxing evenings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. Additionally, the kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed to cook my meals, making it very convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

For our needs it was a great quiet place in the country for two weeks. Town was close for getting groceries and to have a local meal. Host was very responsive. No issues at all. WiFi worked great.

This location is absolutely beautiful and while it was cold in the winter we would love to come back in the summer!

Our stay in Catherine’s home exceeded expectations. The house is clean, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed views of the Columbia river and the beautiful natural surroundings. The house is close enough to Portland and other local destinations (Astoria, Oregon coast) for day trips. The kitchen is very well appointed so we cooked several nice meals. The beds are super comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and towels. The hot tub was a treat on a rainy, cold day. Catherine was a responsive, generous host.

Beautiful quiet location, clean, well appointed property. Instructions for the house were so simple, I was afraid I was missing something. Would definitely stay here again.

Charles rental, hands down has to of been one of our favorite home away from homes. The surroundings & home were absolutely tranquil & serene. Near the end of our stay, we were able to enjoy a full day, away from work & just take in all there is to love. From the house being spotless & everything you would find yourself needing & more. The wildlife & the quietness are unparalleled. If it wasn't for more work travels, we would've stayed longer. We would HIGHLY recommend to any & everyone that Charles place is a must & deserves 6 stars.

A perfect place to enjoy the forest of the pacific northwest. Quiet and secluded with plenty of room. Kitchens were well stocked and plenty of games/DVDs available. The kids had a great time exploring the property while the adults hung out on the patio and deck. Definitely our top place to stay while visiting family in Portland.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay on this houseboat in Clatskanie, Oregon. The setting on the Columbia River was serene and beautiful, with calm waters and a constant backdrop of birds and wildlife that made every moment feel peaceful and connected to nature. The houseboat itself was very well appointed — the interior was stylish, comfortable, and clearly designed with care. It had everything we needed, and then some. We especially loved enjoying our meals on the private deck, watching the river drift by and listening to the sounds of nature all around us. Our hosts, Karin and Michael, were gracious and kind. They made us feel warmly welcomed and were available for anything we needed, yet gave us the space to relax and enjoy the quiet. If you're looking for a unique and tranquil getaway, this houseboat stay is a hidden gem. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the experience.

This stay was everything we'd hoped for and then some. We were greeted by Karin (pronounced like "Corinne") as soon as we drove in, probably because she could tell we weren't sure which way to go after the driveway. After we parked, she pointed out the "idiosyncracies" of the property, which led to funny stories. The craftsmanship is beautiful. We unloaded the car and immediately parked ourselves on the deck, which has a gorgeous, expansive view of the river. Our dogs loved the space and Karin pointed out the mowed area where they could run around. The kitchen had everything we needed, the shower had plenty of water pressure, and it was great to have a separate sleeping space. We loved everything about Batwater Station and our hosts (including Molly!) and can't wait to go back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Karin’s tiny cabin! It was so peaceful and relaxing, came with all amenities needed, plus more. We loved meeting Karin and her sweet girl Molly brown! We are sad to leave this small magical spot, but hope to be back! Highly would recommend staying here if you’re looking for beauty, peace and relaxation! Thank you for the great stay!

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Elizabeth’s place. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Elizabeth has our vote for “host of the year!” She responded quickly to any questions we had and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We definitely plan to be back and strongly recommend her place to anyone staying in Rainier!

Great spot!

Very peaceful stay. Highly restorative for anyone who might be overdue for lush scenery, quiet surroundings, and closeness with nature. Jessica and Elise were communicative, thoughtful, and overall exceptional hosts. This is a gem, and touring around locally is very easy with a rented car - the coast is only about an hour away with lots of fantastic hiking trails around and on the way.
