Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Colón Island

Really enjoyed the stay at this place! It's peaceful, in front of calm waters, a great place to unwind and watch the sunsets. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is rustic, traditional - not for fancy or high demand tourists. There are few local restaurants close to the house and a supermarket, but you can also get to the center in 15-20min or take a taxi.

This was a great place to stay during our visa update from Costa Rica. The shopping was very good. Prices are much better than in Costa Rica. Taxi service was fantastic. They were quick polite and cheap. The unit was clean and ready. Nice little kitchen, that we did not use. We just went out to eat. Yamileth was a very good host. Everything went fine.

this place has great views, direct access to the sea for daily snorkels or kayaking, or just swimming. the sun is relentless here, so bring lots of sunscreen. the place is remote and isolated. you have to take a water taxi to get anywhere out of the resort. the hostess will cook your meals to order. the room has no AC, no TV and it is truly meant for disconnecting and relaxing, enjoying the fresh sea air. during the evening there are these little bigs that bite called chitras and there are tiny lizards as well diring the evening. all part of being in the tropics and being close to the jungle. i really enjoyed myself in paradise.

Maya is a wonderful host; she could not have been kinder or more welcoming. The location is remote! But the use of a kayak was great: we were able to paddle to a nice beach and there were more facilities in the same area.

I loved my short stay at Heiner’s property! I was sad to have only booked one day. Heiner and his onsite staff were very friendly and attentive. This unit is one of four rooms and is located a brief 5 min water taxi from the main island. It is the perfect location to feel secluded by still have access to town. If you decide not to venture into town, there is an amazing onsite restaurant. High quality and tasty food at a very reasonable price. Already planning a future stay!

A dream stay! We loved this place in Bocas! A very good value for the standard offered: independent accommodation with its own bathroom and kitchen! Don't trust the photos because the reality is much better!! A very friendly welcome with people who take care of us. Ability to do laundry on-site for $5. Free unlimited drinking water. Beautiful sea views as the house is on stilts. It's better to bring your quiescent balls if you're sensitive to noise (we hear the sea but also its neighbors and the music on the street) but it was quite ok for us! Perfect internet network to work there! A well equipped kitchen with a hob and oven! The supermarket is literally within a 5 min walk. The city center is less than a 30-minute walk away. If needed, buses pass in front of the house to go to the beach or the center. In short, you absolutely have to go! It's paradise! We even extended our stay.

The house is spectacular. In the details you can see the love with which it has been decorated over the years. It's super cozy and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. Easy and fast communication with Alexander. We look forward to returning soon. Thank you

The place is wonderful. There is a coral reef right in front of the villa and kayak and paddle board to enjoy the crystal clear water. Philip responded very quickly and helped us at all times.

Sylwia's house is fantastic, the location is amazing, on a very quiet island and with very nice and friendly neighbors. The terrace overlooking the sea is a dream. Keep in mind that both to get there and to leave, it is essential to take a water taxi and that services are scarce on the island itself. An ideal place to disconnect and relax. Communication with the hosts was excellent at all times.

We had a great stay at Jairo‘s place in Bastimientos. The house is located on a hill above the main town. The way up can be a bit muddy when it rains. The accomodation was really good and had a balcony with a beautiful view into the green garden. The house was clean and comfortable. The island Bastimientos was a good choice as it was really calm and you can walk to a very nice beach 15 mins away.

It is a beautiful home for a big family to stay in, and it is easy to move around the island from the location. It is a secured area with private parking. We had a grate time.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Serena and can't say enough good things about the house and all of Marcela's attentions with our family. It was our first time visiting and it can be overwhelming planning a trip like this one and Marcela was so kind and gracious to make recommendations for tours, transporting our rental car, etc. The house is exactly as pictured and so spacious for a large family. We can't thank you enough!!

Olivia’s place is as amazing as she is! She was so helpful, friendly and very responsive. The house is perfect for viewing wildlife - we saw sloths every day in the trees in the yard! Walkable to many places to eat and explore or relax at the beach. The house is off grid so we had power and hot water even when our friends nearby didn’t. Great WiFi, fully stocked kitchen. We even enjoyed refilling the hummingbird feeder on the porch to watch them constantly come and go! Helpful info: It’s about a $20ish taxi to get to town depending on number of people from the house or you can take a little bus that leaves from Bom Bom.

Heather was a phenomenal host. She was very responsive and helped make sure my friends and I had a great time! She also helped us with arranging excursions. The property is cute and modest with an amazing view of the water. It is away from the city and is very quiet which is nice.
