We stayed at Hemashanthi Latha’s villa for two days, and from the very first moment, we were impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the aunt who took care of us. Initially, we were a bit confused about the location, but she kindly came all the way to the main road to pick us up. She welcomed us with tea and water bottles, which was a thoughtful gesture after our travel. The villa itself was even better than we expected—comfortable, clean, and truly gave us the feeling of being in a cozy, local Sri Lankan home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place, especially for couples looking for a peaceful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka.

I stayed for almost two weeks and had a great experience. The place was just as described, clean, and comfortable. The gated automatic door made it feel safe. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the shared kitchen was convenient. The host family was warm and welcoming, and flexible with check-in/out, which made the stay very pleasant. The area has lots of restaurants and easy access to the city center. The only small downside was that the bathroom is right outside the room, so privacy could be a concern for some, but overall, a great stay!

The most enjoyable stay you could hope for in Colombo. Great for a digital nomad set up or as a base to explore the city. Dileepa is a legend and after welcoming you will help you with anything you might need during your stay. Particular highlights are the gym/pool/clubhouse area, the mall (2 min walk away), the friendly neighbours and the nearby restaurants (5 min tuk to culture colombo for possibly the best Sri Lankan food in the city). Would recommend a long stay to really sink into life in Colombo

We had to visit our mum in the retirement home around 500m from this beautiful modern house. Thus this location provided flexibility to spend much time with mum during the day. Kumar was efficient in handing over the keys and directing us to find transport, new restaurants etc. It was easy to communicate with Uthpala about our late arrival and find ways to recieve keys. The neighbourhood was quiet in the late hours which allowed us to rest well. The house was clean and spacious. I loved all 3 toilets/bathrooms specially because it was clean and carried all basic aminities. Good wifi allowed us to work remotely. Check out was easy as well and Uthpala provided clear instructions to leave keys. I will book this place again when I visit with my teenage son.

Amazing apartment. It truly made our stay special. The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and we loved waking up to it every day. The place is beautifully furnished, super clean, and thoughtfully maintained. It had everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to other modern amenities that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect too, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and other essentials just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Stayed here for the 2nd time. Great place to stay in Colombo. Roshan was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for anyone to stay in Colombo.

This is a nice place. The house is beautiful and one-of-a-kind—there’s a fully grown tree in the living room! The street is quiet and peaceful, with lush greenery. Inside, everything was thoughtfully set up: a comfy bed, good shower pressure, a ceiling fan, mosquito net, and a desk—everything I needed to feel right at home. (And honestly, I only saw one mosquito during my whole 4-day stay.) I really enjoyed chatting with Shaniya, Shanil, and Shruti—such beautiful people—but also had plenty of privacy and quiet time to myself. The dogs are cute, and the house is full of lovely art and cozy, homely vibes. It felt like visiting family. Before I left, Shaniya even took me around the neighborhood and treated me to some delicious local food—such a sweet gesture. I’ll be back the next time I pass through Colombo. <3

During my month-long trip to Sri Lanka, I stayed at an exceptional Airbnb hosted by Shamilka. Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Shamilka's mother, Visaka, with whom I immediately connected. She greeted me with a friendly smile and a warm handshake. She even prepared a delicious rice and curry lunch when she learned I hadn't eaten breakfast. The accommodation was secure, private, and equipped with all the amenities I needed, including a washing machine and excellent air conditioning in all rooms. I particularly enjoyed opening the lounge windows at night, as the wire screens kept mosquitoes out. Situated at the end of a quiet laneway, the property provided a peaceful retreat away from noisy traffic. I also appreciated the comfortable armchairs for dining and relaxing. The water pressure was perfect, and hot water was plentiful. Conveniently located near local restaurants and supermarkets, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Colombo.
