Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Colares

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

we were a family of 5. The location was perfect for us. Quiet but also not far from everything. Amazing views! The house is charming. It was also nice to have the pool as it got hot.

Lovely stay, even lovelier host. Super friendly and responsive, and even sent a list of local recommendations for everything one could possibly need during a holiday. Would love to come back as it was such a special home and held spectacular views. Gorgeous vibes 🫶🏻🙏🏻

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Très bonne hôte! Elle nous as reçu avec beaucoup d’informations et des bonnes recommandations pour restaurant et visite de Lisbonne. Le ménage était impeccable. Cependant, il y avait une odeur d’humidité présente. Peut-être juste les bâtiments en béton qui cause ceci que nous sommes pas habitué à cette odeur au Québec. Le petit coin intime est invitant! Merci Annabella pour ton accueil chaleureux!

We consider this house to be on another level when it comes to the traditional Airbnb. You are essentially living in a private part of a palatial mountainside with amazing views of the forest , coastline and sunsets. The house is an ancient hermitage that is supremely well kept and the owners’ sophistication shines through. The gardens and terraces are absolutely beautiful and a joy to walk around with ponds, fountains and lovely forest pathways. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals. Beds are very comfortable and Mariana, the housekeeper, keeps the house spotless and the grounds are very well kept by the gardener. Cristina who owns the property is the most generous host who greeted us with a delicious homemade quiche and other provisions so we did not have to go shopping upon our arrival which was fantastic after a long journey. When visiting Sinatra, this home is such a privilege and will only enhance your stay!

This was one of the best stays abroad I’ve ever had! The house is incredibly beautiful and situated in a friendly small town. It was easy to get to the sights in Sintra, but even from the house there is lovely walks into the hills. The house was incredibly well equipped with crockery, CDs and board games. Lovely Maria even left a bottle of wine for us! One of the highlights of our trip to Portugal was staying in this house, it’s a beautiful beautiful place and incredibly well curated.

Mario and his place were fantastic!! The location was great, with easy access to the sights and the metro. Mario was super helpful and responsive. Absolutely loved my stay at his place. Would definitely stay there again!!

Elio was super responsive and flexible with check in. He also recommended some amazing spots to visit that were quiet. Overall super peaceful stay. Cannot recommend this place more if you have a car. The goat next door was the cherry on top!

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in de woning van Lenita. Het is een mooie plek om een aantal nachten door te brengen. Er zijn mooie stranden en leuke restaurantjes in de omgeving, de supermarkt ligt om de hoek. De tuin is een rustige en groene oase midden in een stedelijke omgeving, heel bijzonder.

We had a fantastic stay in Rita's lovely vila. It's situated in the middle of a lush greenery of a National Park. the views of the mountains are breathtaking. The vila was very cozy and walking distance from the ocean. Woudl really recommend to anyone.

De la réservation, en passant par l'arrivée jusqu'à notre départ, c'est avec gentillesse et bienveillance que nous avons été accompagné le long de cette expérience. La maison est idéale pour accueillir une grande famille, ou des groupes. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire, en toute intimité, dans ce lieux vaste et confortable. Merci encore pour ta patience avec notre groupe, nous te remercions sincèrement.

Excellente semaine passée dans 1 lieu de rêve. Le lieu,le cadre les accès enfin tt y était et surtout sans oublier Joanna et Ronny qui sont des hôtes admirables et disponible . Nous recommandons et nous y retournerons les yeux fermés.

The facilities and living/sleeping spaces were amazing for our family of 10 adults plus a 2-year-old. 6 large comfortable bedrooms. the pool was brilliant as we could roll back the cover for sunbathing and close it for indoor swimming when it got chilly. the pádel court was a hit as was the 5 aside football pitch. The indoor games room had everything (pool, table tennis, darts, computer games etc...) so great for evening activities. The Lidl was 10 minutes drive and had most things (not so great on veggie options though). The beach was a 5 minute drive away - we didn't try cycling there as there is a steep hill. We had cars but tbh might have been better ubering as only really needed for Lidl and the beach. Elisa was fantastic - really quick to respond and sent lots of great recommendations. highly recommended

Le site correspondait exactement à ce que nous cherchions. Très calme, vue magnifique, belle et grande terrasse. Pour trouver de l'animation (en mai) il faut prendre la voiture, pour les courses également, c'est un choix...

This is an airy, modern place with a STUNNING view. We worked remotely here for a week and loved being so close to trails, the fresh market and great restaurants. We’ll be back!

The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war insgesamt sehr sauber (9/10) und gut ausgestattet. Anfangs mussten wir uns zwar ein wenig zurechtfinden, da nicht alles sofort selbsterklärend war, aber nach kurzer Zeit hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Die Lage war wirklich top: Direkt am Meer, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar und gute Anbindung an die Umgebung. Zwar gibt es eine Straße direkt vor dem Haus, aber der Verkehr war absolut im Rahmen und hat nicht gestört. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war hervorragend – immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr gut erreichbar. Besonders gefallen hat uns die tolle Aussicht aufs Meer vom oberen Stockwerk sowie der schöne Pool. Alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht, war vorhanden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung, aber die Lage und Ausstattung haben den Aufenthalt für uns sehr angenehm gemacht. Es gab nichts, was uns wirklich gestört hat. Wir kommen wieder!

We had a perfect stay with Carlos. The apartment was even better than described. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Also suitable for longer stays. The cleaning service is great! When a small problem with the hot water boiler occured, Carlos was immediately available and took great care of it. We would definitely book again.

Genau wie erwartet. Ruhig, down to earth, nah an einem wenig besuchten Sandstrand und trotzdem Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc. in der Nähe. Und Claire ist eine tolle Gastgebenrin :-)

Ailecek çok keyifli 3 gün geçirdik. Tertemiz, pratik ve çok keyifli bir daireydi. Uzun bir yolculuk sonrası esnek giriş sağlamaları kalbimizi kazandı. Konumu güzel, her yere yürüyerek erişim imkanı var. Daire yöneticileri çok ilgiliydi ve bize şehirle ilgili keyifli tavsiyelerde bulundular. Herşey için teşekkür ederiz🌸
