Beach house holiday rentals in Colares

Wir waren mit Freunden da und das Haus war perfekt dafür geeignet. Der große Essbereich, die vielen Schlafzimmer und der einmalige Pool mit Blick bis zum Meer haben uns überzeugt. Für besondere Anlässe kann man seit neuestem eine Art Wintergarten dazu mieten, der riesig ist und zum Verweilen im Garten einlädt, auch bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Die Zufahrt mit einem Camper ist etwas eng, sobald es Gegenverkehr gibt. Wir waren zunächst auch etwas verunsichert, weil es ein Durchfahrts-Verboten Schild für Wohnmobilen gibt. António hat uns dann abgeholt und uns alles gezeigt. Er war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und wir durften unseren Camper mit Strom und Wasser befüllen.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war insgesamt sehr sauber (9/10) und gut ausgestattet. Anfangs mussten wir uns zwar ein wenig zurechtfinden, da nicht alles sofort selbsterklärend war, aber nach kurzer Zeit hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Die Lage war wirklich top: Direkt am Meer, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar und gute Anbindung an die Umgebung. Zwar gibt es eine Straße direkt vor dem Haus, aber der Verkehr war absolut im Rahmen und hat nicht gestört. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war hervorragend – immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr gut erreichbar. Besonders gefallen hat uns die tolle Aussicht aufs Meer vom oberen Stockwerk sowie der schöne Pool. Alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht, war vorhanden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung, aber die Lage und Ausstattung haben den Aufenthalt für uns sehr angenehm gemacht. Es gab nichts, was uns wirklich gestört hat. Wir kommen wieder!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Carlos’s apartment. Everything we needed was there. If I had any issues at all Carlos was extremely prompt at responding and resolving things. I had misinterpreted the apartment as having a garden. There are 2 outside chairs at the end of the driveway within locked gates but not a ‘garden’ as such. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing view! Spacious for our family of four. Vanessa was very responsive to any questions we had. Quiet, private location and just a short car ride from Ericeira and local beaches. We recommend!

Genau wie erwartet. Ruhig, down to earth, nah an einem wenig besuchten Sandstrand und trotzdem Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, etc. in der Nähe. Und Claire ist eine tolle Gastgebenrin :-)

Zeker een aanrader om te boeken! Ana is een erg vriendelijke host die snel reageert. Het huisje was schattig ingericht, schoon en de locatie is echt perfect! Alles is op loopafstand.

Wir waren alle sehr grosse Fans von der Unterkunft, gut gelegen um nach Ribeira surfen zu gehen und ideal für grössere Gruppen!

We loved our stay at Madalena's place. The location is fantastic ... very close to everything Sintra has to offer, yet very quiet and peaceful. Had plenty of room and great views ... even had a place to park !

Het verblijf bij Vladimir was in één woord geweldig! Het huis ligt prachtig met uitzicht op zee, en dichtbij prachtige stranden met heerlijke restaurantjes… Het huis was prachtig ingericht, super luxe en alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig!! Er is werkelijk aan alles gedacht…. Het zwembad is prachtig en heel schoon, helaas was het nog een beetje te koud voor ons. De communicatie met Vladimir was zeer goed! Nogmaals top huis op een top locatie in het super leuke surf paradijs Ericeira

Wonderful family stay, Carolina was attentive and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our baby too. We felt right at home, we didn’t want to leave!

We had one of our best vacations at this beautiful home in Magoito, Portugal. The house was even more stunning than expected—peaceful, quiet, with breathtaking sunsets and just a short walk to the beach. It was the perfect escape from the city. Our hosts, Chen and Ms. Yang, were kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Chen gave us great local recommendations and quickly resolved any small issues. When we lost power and Wi-Fi, Ms. Yang came personally to help. Nila, who came to clean, was lovely and warm—even with a language barrier, we understood each other. When we left items in an Uber, Chen helped us retrieve them. Uber is reliable and affordable if you're not driving, and the drivers were polite even if they didn’t speak English. We felt completely cared for and would absolutely stay again. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable coastal getaway!

Sehr guter und angenehmer Gastgeber. Hat uns stets geholfen und innerhalb weniger Minuten geantwortet. Auch über "Ereignisse", wie Gärtner oder ähnliches, sehr früh informiert. Ansonsten eine sehr schöne und ruhige Lage. Saubere Unterkunft, sehr gepflegt. Einziges kleine Manko, Fliegen-bzw Mückengitter wären noch insbesondere vor der Schlafzimmern nötig. Aber das ist wirklich nur ein kleiner Luxus

Foi uma ótima experiência. A casa era o que estava anunciado. Toda a gente nos tratou muito bem e as questões foram resolvidas de forma muito atenciosa e eficaz. O espaço era calmo, totalmente privado, muito bem decorado, com todos os utensílios/produtos necessários. Estava limpo e cheirava muito bem. A cozinha estava extremamente bem apetrechada. Os produtos de cortesia foram preparados com cuidado, eram diversos e muito saborosos. Em tudo se notou o cuidado em proporcionar conforto ao hóspede. Embora num lugar isolado fica extremamente perto do centro, se se estiver de carro.

We had a great stay at Patrick's villa. Communication was excellent; he responded quickly to any queries, even printing off Latin revision homework for our granddaughter and dropping it at the house, which she really appreciated. As a mixed generations group it worked perfectly as a house, with 2 suites downstairs and 2 upstairs, all with full bathrooms. At night shutters could be lowered automatically which gave added security when travelling with 2 little girls and also ensured a good night's sleep without early morning sun waking us. Air conditioning was good with individual controls The kitchen was well equipped, everything provided. The pool was lovely, a good size and pleasantly warm, although as a minor point softer sunbeds would be a bonus. We made full use of the table tennis and pool tables, as well as using the bbq which is at the rear of the garden. The beaches are vast, a very peaceful area without the commercialism of the Algarve. Thank you Patrick for your hospitality.

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

Nice house! Great location with walking distance to the Guincho Beach over the sand dunes. Complete kitchen.The dinning/living room is very cozy, with a view of the ocean through one of the windows, which was a nice surprise! On the nice days, we place the outdoor chairs provided in the garden and had time to relax and chat with friends under the shade of the trees. One of the days was very windy and rainy, and we had fun playing Jenga in the dining room. The house is well furnished and has everything you might need including washing machine and dishwasher. I would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. She took the time to personally meet us, brought us some fresh Pastéis de Belém and wine, which made our experience feel very special. Her instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and knew the best places to explore. Whether it was tips on local restaurants or guidance on how to navigate the area, her insights made our trip so much smoother. The space itself was cozy and well-equiped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The appartement is on 3 floors, there is 1 bathroom on 1st floor to be used for bedroom on 3rd floor. The other bathroom is within the masterbed room. We truly appreciate the personal touch and care that Sofia puts into hosting, and we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great experience. She also accomodated an earlier check-in as our flights arrived early morning.

We had a wonderful stay here. Just enough space for a family of four, with loads of handy bits and bobs around the house for the beach - we loved the hosepipe to wash the sand off outside! It felt like an incredibly thoughtfully designed place. The only other thing we would have wanted was dedicated parking, but there was a car park very close by, so no real problems on that front. Thanks for a lovely trip!

The house is situated in an elevated position with great views of the sea and town, set in a large natural garden which you enter through electric gates. There is plenty of space to park your car and you can leave the surfboard on the roof rack confident that nobody can steal it. The house itself is beautifully renovated. Every aspect of it displays good taste. It is well-equipped and everything works perfectly. The location could not be better. A ten-minute walk takes you down through the old town with its many excellent eating places, to the town beach and promenade. The host, Anna, is charming and helpful. In short, we cannot recommend this place too strongly. It is one of the best rental homes we have ever stayed in.

Wir haben 2 Wochen in Luis Ferienwohnung Urlaub gemacht. Haben uns dort wohlgefühlt, ruhige Lage und schöne Umgebung. Luis ist ein freundlicher und zuvorkommend Vermieter. Er war sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar für uns. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ahhhh, the location! You won't believe it when you realize where your rental is! Patricia's home is in the heart of Cascais---walkable to absolutely everything AND you have ocean views! Downstairs is a comfortable living area and kitchen, enormous beautiful ensuite bedroom on the second floor, and two lovely bedrooms and a bathroom on the third floor. Yes, the stairs are steep, but they add to the charm and the multiple floors offer so much privacy. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Our family of five was in absolute heaven in this place. This was our first stop in Portugal and, Patricia and Cascais, you made us fall in love from the very beginning. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

L’alloggio di Joao e Sandra è un gioiellino. Verrete calati immediatamente in un’atmosfera unica, in una casa con grande charme. L’alloggio è arredato con buon gusto e dispone di tutto il necessario per cucinare in casa, volendolo. I pasti principali vanno fatti fuori secondo noi, vasta scelta dappertutto. Letto molto comodo. Siamo stati accolti cordialmente e abbiamo ricevuto risposte veloci e precise ad ogni nostra domanda. Stazione a pochi minuti!
