Very nice quiet house surrounded by greenery overlooking the park . Not disappointed. pleasant and charming ideal for weekend or holidays I recommend .

Catherine is a lovely host. We arrived a little late in the evening, but despite everything, her welcome was most pleasant. The place is quiet, in nature. The rooms are nice. We're in the countryside. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

We had a wonderful weekend with the family. We were three families of 4 and we didn't step on each other's toes. The accommodation is very large, clean and super well-equipped, there is something for everyone and everyone. We would all come back without hesitation.

We had a pleasant stay in the Koï cabin. The setting is pleasant, peaceful and easy to access. The Koï cabin is full of charm and comfortable. Self check-in and check-out is very convenient. Hosts are responsive and available as needed. Bonus: you can feed the Koi carp!

Excellent stay in Sylvie's accommodation. Since she lives there for much of the year, it feels like home. The apartment is fully equipped and well decorated. Secure parking is available. Sylvie is very accommodating, we were able to arrive at 10am instead of 4pm. We'll be happy to go back.

I really liked the accommodation, quiet, nice, well organized. Very nice welcome too. A very small downside in the bathroom/toilet door (lacks a little privacy). I highly recommend it!

Catherine is a great hostess. She is very friendly and very helpful and has given us valuable tips for day trips, restaurants and attractions of the area. Was always very accessible, either in person or by phone. The apartment is beautiful and very well furnished and very quiet due to its location. Remaining equipment can be reached in minutes. The apartment is absolutely recommendable for guests who are not looking for a standard apartment. The village of Talmot-sur-Gironde is suitable for a relaxing holiday. However, for activities and other activities (bakery, shopping, etc.) you need a car.

The house is very nice, everything is quiet, perfect.

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

Nice place, for those who like peace and quiet... very nice swimming pool

We had an wonderful time. The house was great and the garden is huge with an orchard in the next field which we could access. It is an absolutely beautiful place. We were made to feel very at home by Laetitia, Thierry and family (they were in the main house for some days of our stay and the rest of the time we were alone on the vast property). They were extremely generous about letting us use games and canoes etc and could not have been more welcoming to us. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful. The river is nearby and there are lots of possible areas for swimming as well as walking. We really enjoyed visits to Angouleme and Cognac and other pretty villages. Most of all we enjoyed sitting in the garden reading and relaxing and going running in small largely deserted roads around the house. It was a really lovely holiday and I would definitely recommend this highly and fully hope to go back again.
