We had a lovely stay at Corinne & Alain's. We were able to enjoy the dinner which was great and chat about the area with Corinne. The next morning Corinne was very helpful on the walking instructions and was able to meet us later to return a forgotten item. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the old mill. Great swimming pool and garden to relax after a day driving. Lovely to sleep very quiet place. Claire was an amazing and attentive host. We will love to come back again. Highly recommend place. Better if you can stay longer.

We had a great stay at Caroline's. The estate is beautiful, the accommodation is very nice, very clean and comfortable. Caroline is very friendly and very helpful and kind, she does everything to make the stay pleasant. The estate is very close to Jonzac where there are quite a few things to visit. I recommend.

We stayed 3 nights at Jean Luc's place. We enjoyed the calm, the greenery, the wide open spaces, the pool and our beautiful garden view suite. It felt like home because Jean Luc and his family were able to put us very at ease!! We were able to get to know all the 2 or 4-legged locals. If you're not an animal lover, this place isn't for you!

We recommend Monique with eyes closed! We appreciated our stay in Angoulême thanks to its warm welcome! We'll be back with pleasure:)

Wow! Super stay in this stunning setting, so peaceful with beautiful views. Room was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped (we appreciated the tea/coffee and hairdryer). Philippe was a very happy, welcoming and helpful host. He kindly said we could use the terrace, which was a wonderful place to sit with a snack and drink. The electric charging (Type 2 for us) was easy and reliable. Thank you so much, wish we could have stayed longer!

Marie has an amazing private large garden, almost a forest park, in the morning, you can have a walk or run inside, everything so nice, feels like home :D

hello, We had a pleasant stay in your guest room. Everything was perfect, the breakfast, the room decoration. Anouk is very welcoming and very attentive, answers all questions. The only small problem is the very limited parking space as it is on the side of the road but very very good overall.

We had a lovely stay! Ludivine was so generous and friendly, the perfect host! After a very wet day cycling on the velo trail, it was so nice to arrive to delicious home-cooked food, comfortable rooms, and great people. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for three nights to have a break on our way back to UK. The weather was not good so we looked enviously at all the seating corners which Genevieve has arranged around the delightful and large garden, however we were very comfortable passing the time reading etc. in our large room. There was a lounge downstairs also for our use. Genevieve provided excellent breakfasts and was very flexible, a great host, friendly but not intrusive. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the quiet surroundings and comfortable and clean home to other travellers.

Jonathan and Samantha were the perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. Their warm and welcoming home is tastefully renovated and set up and the landscape is peaceful and quiet. They gave us helpful tipps about restaurants and things to explore in the area. Also breakfast was outstanding and lovely presented. Happy we found this beautiful gem and would always recommend it. Micky and Philippe have created a true place of relaxation and peace here! The entire property has been very tastefully renovated and is furnished with a lot of love for detail. Micky and Philippe are totally warm hosts and we really enjoyed eating with the two of them in the evening and enjoying Philippe's kitchen! This place is a real gem and we had a wonderful time! :-)

We had a lovely stay! The welcome was very nice, the accommodation perfectly as advertised. Everything was impeccably clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom really nice. It immediately felt good. Very nice also to have been able, as soon as we arrived, to take advantage of the heated swimming pool to 28°. Thank you to our hosts for this beautiful break. If you like plants, both indoors and outdoors: Go to Colin and Shane, you will be delighted with a really nice and cozy setting. The price is a bit high, but it can be explained by several points, including the PD which is included.

We had a wonderful time at this charming and warm couple's place. The place is tastefully furnished. The room is very spacious and we slept there like babies. Thanks to Paul & Nicky for their kindness and all the little touches. We highly recommend!!

What a wonderful place to stay. The decor is beautiful, the bed is supremely comfortable, the shower is amazing. We loved throwing the shutters open in the morning to look out over the garden. Breakfast in the beautiful garden was a real treat, a French holiday straight from central casting! There is absolutely nothing I would change and I highly recommend you stay here.

We with our two kids (5yr and 1yr) had a wonderful stay at Le Palais. Will and Jasmine made us feel right at home. When we arrived they welcomed us with a delicious glass of wine and tasty 3 course meal. We stayed at the cottage which was clean and snug and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and you can get your rosemary or sage in the garden. The last two nights we stayed at the main house in one of the suites which I would define as an elegant and luxurious space without feeling cold. Jasmine is an amazing chef so don’t miss out on her dinners when you stay at le Palais. The breakfast is luxurious with croissants and French specialties followed by daily changing two little courses. Will gave us plenty of tips for things to do and see and was overall very accommodating. The main house is a beautiful place and it’s evident they decorated it with love and attention. The pool area is lovely as well and a great place to relax with a book or to hang out with your kids. All this accompanied by a beautiful view on a castle and their four horses, a fairytale town on 15 minutes walk and some of the best sunsets. We will definitely come back again. Roxanne is very nice, Fiona is very welcoming, he's the perfect duo to have a pleasant time. Full and hearty breakfast. Very well equipped accommodation with great taste. I would definitely recommend it. We had already come when it was the former owners and we hadn't even seen them... Roxanne who took over, will be there at the slightest request, it's very appreciated! We'll be back for sure.
