Very clean and comfortable home. The bee theme is displayed throughout the house and was really cool. April was very responsive and helpful. Pool was also awesome.

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

My family was looking for a local weekend getaway, and this house was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, cozy, and welcoming. Krystal was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had to do an early check-in due to work call and Krystal made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was quick to answer any questions we had. The pool was a huge hit with everyone. It was super clean and well-maintained, and we spent most of our weekend swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful outdoor space. The house itself was fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to extra towels, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time as a family. We had such a great time and made memories we’ll always cherish. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun escape. We would absolutely stay here again!

I would recommend this home greatly. We were on a girls weekend. We enjoyed the home the surroundings and the peacefulness. It’s in a beautiful setting close to many great restaurants and wineries. The beds were comfortable and the homeless clean. Should we ever find ourselves that way again we’ve already decided we would stay here.

I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Nicole's location. Peaceful and quiet location. Plenty to do. The home was exactly as pictured in the photos. Owner was responsive will any questions that we had. Was on a four day golf trip with friends. Everyone raved about the home and the accomodations. Great spaces for gathering and also areas when you needed some quiet time. I would highly recommend this home for a family or friends getaway. If I am back in the area this will be my first choice.

This was the perfect city get away for a weekend trip! The location is great, in the country but also only 10 minutes from Middelburg shops and restaurants. The home was even better than pictured, especially the outside area. The yard, pool and outside seating areas were absolutely beautiful, just so peaceful. The home was absolutely lovely, very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities you would need, including in the kitchen. Really hope to come back, I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Beautiful location, right beside the KOA which thr kids loved. Very near Harper's Ferry and local tourist attractions.

Exceptional property and host! What a beautiful house and location. It's a place you go wow, I would love to live here. We had an excellent stay and didn't want to leave. The Airbnb advertisement was very accurate and if anything undersold the amazing house, history and surrounding property. Everything was very clean, well maintained and well appointed. The house itself is a beautiful historic landmark yet very well maintained. The hard decisions were which room to hang out in for the evening. Library, parlor, sitting room, etc. Truly amazing! Quite and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy! The owner Ruth was exceptional. Great communication, very easy to work with and really thought of everything when providing her property to rent. If you travel to this area, it is the place to stay, hands down. We will definitely be back, hopefully a few times a year!

Our group enjoyed our stay here! The house was the perfect size and a very cozy place for a nice small mountain town getaway. We loved being so close to Main Street and places to hike.

We had a lovely time, a memorable weekend and a very interesting experience indeed. And with all the animals, including the young pups, the children were more than occupied and not hooked on their devices. John was a very gracious host and showed us the works before he left for the weekend. Overall it was great that he was comfortable with us having day guests for a celebration weekend at the farm. As a working farm, it took us some getting used to in the beginning. But the pups, cats, tortoises and more had us enthralled. The whole group felt it was truly a weekend to remember - we will be talking about the fun time we had for a long time to come. Looking forward to seeing the end result of the exciting renovations to come in the dining room and kitchen to make them more functional.

Beautiful home,VERY clean and perfdct for a family gathering if no cooking is to be done. Theres a darling small kitchenette, but no stove,so we brought food and couldnt cook it.

Cute cottage! Had everything we needed and it was very peaceful. The only thing to note is that showering is pretty difficult. The tub is nice and there is a shower hose, but you have to hold it up yourself. This might be an obstacle for some people. The host was very nice easy to communicate with. Didnt see any animals on the property unfortunately!

Nice place for a family stay. It’s a quirky old house with a lot of charm. We enjoyed the games and the sauna.

We had a large group and the amenities like screening room with a sectional and large kitchen island for serving food was perfect.

Pat was an incredibly communicative host, and her house and cottage were the perfect place for our family staycation! Both properties were incredibly well put together, clean, and supplied. The backyard was also a dream, especially with the gorgeous weather we had. This family getaway was an important one for us, as we’re trying to make the most of the limited time we have left with one of the members. We are so thankful we found Pat’s listing—we were able to create many special memories that we will all cherish forever. And if we’re fortunate enough to experience a miracle, we’d love to all come back together another time. Thank you, Pat!

This is a five star place through and through. It is spacious and wonderful for families with kids and multigenerational groups. Amazing views and deck for playing and relaxing. Great yard for kids to run around. Grill, fire pit, ping pong, pool, darts, exercise room and Berryville is a great little town with parks, farmer’s market, shops. The price is a great value. The space was so clean. This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in a long time. Everyone loved it in my family.

We are so fortunate to have Smithfield farm nearby to use for family and friends overflow. A wonderful place and location run by a great family. Try it out!

What an absolutely stunning all around host to house! This house is forever saved, and I will be coming back with the family! Hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment I walked in, it truly felt like home. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious with tons of natural sunlight, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking. The balcony alone is worth booking this place, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and take it all in. If you’re looking for a place that’s peaceful, well-equipped, and feels like a retreat, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back!
