Heat pump provides either air conditioning or heat. 55km/35 miles from either Yarmouth or Digby ferries.

At the Ford du Lac

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped, recently updated, 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a quiet lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!

Come relax at our two-bedroom lakefront cottage on Boarsback Lake. A tranquil getaway with just the right mix of lake, relaxation, sunsets, and campfires . An amazing place for a romantic couple’s getaway, family time or a solo adventurer/traveler. Large master bedroom with a king size bed, and a double bed in our cozy second bedroom. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, Keurig and BBQ. Guests have access to two kayaks, a paddle board and pool noodles.

Kick back and relax in this spacious lakeside heat pump, infloor heated cottage, new August 2023. The separate bedroom with queen bed, has a beautiful barn slide door. The main living area has a queen sofa couch. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets or a campfire by the lake . For your added pleasure is a six man, hot tub, nestled in the woods under a beautiful gazebo - shared with one (2 person) cottage. Free use of kayaks, paddle boards, mountain bikes, swim in the lake, or enjoy leisure walks.

The Narrows

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled on private lakefront property. Shoreline connecting two large lakes and river flowing to the ocean. Great place for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Located 5 minutes from Mavilette Beach Provincial Park and nearby a convenience store. This newly built cabin is equipped with full bathroom, kitchen and two queen sized beds. It also has outdoor chairs, fire pit, bbq, picnic table and 2 kayaks.

Treehouse overlooking lake

A quiet paradise in the woods. A great place to connect with nature and relax. There is a 2 person kayak that are shared with our other treehouse guests. Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. Wifi arriving soon. Cozy Lake Cabin

Relax and enjoy this peaceful waterfront setting. 2 kayaks, 4 seater paddle boat , safety gear and 2 bicycles included for use during your stay. Explore this beautiful, peaceful environment. Lakefront boat access and swimming right from the yard. Ride to many ATV trails right from the front door or perhaps just bring a book and relax by the fire (firewood included with stay). Fish for Bass, Perch or Pickerel. Central to Digby and Yarmouth.
