Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Clackmannanshire

We had an amazing holiday at The Timber House! The place is in a great spot to explore both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Gordon and Sarah were super helpful right from check-in and gave us great tips for local places to visit. Gordon even went above and beyond and planned a lovely trip for us to Stonehaven, taking us through scenic back roads and recommending the perfect lunch spot. We really appreciated their kindness and hospitality. The house is easy to get to from the motorway but still feels really private and peaceful. Thanks so much, Gordon and Sarah, for making our holiday so special — we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely stay at James house. Met the cleaner who was very friendly and welcoming catering to our needs. Hot tub was lovely. House very clean and decor modern and up to date, well maintained. Didn’t explore the local area too much but loch leven is near by if you have a car. Pub across the road looked nice and small co-op within walking distance for bits. Many takeaways in the area to choose from on just eat.

We had a wonderful time here. Great location - easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh and beyond - lovely and homely, spacious and lovely hosts.

Amazing location. Quiet & secluded with nature enveloping the property. Was peaceful, serene and beautiful. Was truly an absolutely incredible stay and Steven is a great host. We had a slew of bad luck and he was quick to help us out on numerous occasions and we owe a lot to him. Will 100% be back with our group. Also the hot tub was a huge plus and the kitchen was well stocked for all of our massive meals we made. Thank you Steven!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in Maggies place. Cottage was exactly as described, hot tub was easy to use and absolutely amazing. A lovely and cosy little place perfect for a wee getaway. Local pub staff were also very friendly and food was yummy.

Fantastic stay, the East Wing is far larger than we expected, whilst remaining extremely cosy & quirky with lots of art work, blankets, games, etc. It only sleeps 6 but the living spaces are roomy enough for 8+ people! Washing machine and central heating were unexpected benefits having recently been renovated, without losing any of its charm. Already thinking about when we can next visit!

This was a very last minute booking with some friends but we managed to get booked in, found it easily due to the quick responses of the host and easy instructions as to how to get there and get inside!! Absolutely stunning place, full sky package including sport so we could watch the football, hot tub was a huge plus, absolutely amazing stay! I would highly recommend to anybody who wants to stay here ! Very private, not too far from shops to get food and drinks, lovely getaway! If needing another break will definately be back!

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

Amazing house with lots to do. The room at the top of the spiral stairs was just a bit difficult to get into and out of, with low ceilings, and it gets warm up there. One more bathroom for that number of bedrooms could be nice... but it all worked out. It was pretty close to perfect for our family reunion. And it's great for hide and seek! We recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at “The Stables”, the pictures are brilliant but the place in person is even better! We booked the accommodation for my best friends hen weekend and it really had the best aesthetic. The layout of the living area and kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms was great. Everything was up to date and clean… apart from (unfortunately) the outside kitchen… it was pretty gross, hadn’t been cleaned and there was empty glass bottle and glasses all over this areas. It was really not great, especially if we had gone ahead with hiring a private chef as this is the area we were going to use… glad we didn’t. The other parts of outside were lovely, hot tub and seating areas etc. On the Saturday we were quite shocked and not very comfortable with hotel staff just wondering in and out of our accommodation to get chairs out of a store in the back?! This really wasn’t acceptable, especially being a group of young ladies in swimwear having drinks outside, apparently they were allowed.

Accommodation was fantastic. Location to was excellent for getting about not far to walk to various locations in Balloch. Special thanks to Deirdre on meeting us walked around the house was ver accommodating and friendly to us all. All the families were happy with everything. Kids loved the hot tub. Definitely recommend the Accommodation. Thanks from us all.

Really enjoyed our stay for a family celebration, great open plan kitchen, living, dining and garden lovely for spending time altogether. Flexible bedrooms - able to make one a twin. Clean, well equipped and luxurious feel. Two full bathrooms. Street is quiet, feels safe and parking easy, no shops, cafes, bars etc. within close walking distance. Bus or Uber both easy to get into city centre and was nice to escape the hustle and bustle after a day sightseeing and at the festival. Suspect price was higher due to time of year and compared to other properties we viewed were very happy we chose this one. Rachel was very prompt with communication, instructions, restaurant recommendations and help when required.

This is a lovely house with beautiful views in a fantastic location! We got very lucky with sunny weather during our stay meaning we could make the most of the gorgeous surroundings - we did white water rafting on the River Tay and enjoyed the Taymouth Marina spa, all of which were a short drive away from the house. The house was just as described and pictured and the hosts were great - they were very responsive and flexible, allowing us to have both an early checkin and late check out. There is a good amount of parking at the property and the kitchen was well stocked with all amenities you could need. The house is on a main road but it is not busy and traffic noise was not an issue. I would definitely recommend this house to a group.

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely cabin in beautiful scenery, an absolutely perfect get away. Had everything you need and more. Would highly recommend!!

This is our second time staying here and as expected just wonderful, had everything we needed and just what we wanted a nice quiet location to relax 😌

We had 3 nights in Lomond 5 with our two dogs. It was comfortable and peaceful and provided all we needed for our little break. Would love to be able to go back soon

I would like to say a big thank you to Leigh for everything she was so helpful over message. I met her in person and such a lovely lady. Everything was clean and tidy, helpful information and was only a message away if needed with a fast reply. I would highly recommend here for a trip away as I would 100% come back. I planned this for a surprise for the other haft as she’s never stayed in one or been in a hot tub. The views are so nice around the area and so private. When you can tell they have put there heats into this that means the most. Thank you again Leigh. We enjoyed every moment and didn’t want to leave.
