Beachfront holiday rentals in Chumphon

We greatly enjoyed our 35 day stay in Hidden Holiday Beach House. The house offers a magnificent view from the spacious and airy living room. During weekdays the beach is almost deserted but on weekends there is more tourist activity, including occasional ATVs buzzing past. The beach was relatively clean but after storms it was littered with plastic debris. Biting sand flies were the only serious annoyance. Make sure to bring a supply of DEET bug repellent. The house is fully mosquito screened so biting insects are not a problem when indoors. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven plus an adequate stock of pots and pans, silverware, and dishes. There is a water filter, so you don’t have to buy bottled water. The house is ideal for dog owners with a large, fenced yard. Our dog loved being able to run around freely there. You need to have a car if you are staying for an extended period. Chris and Areeya are truly super hosts. We hope to return in the future.

Deciding on this place, we were a bit apprehensive due to the fact that it had no reviews. It turned out that it is definitely better then expected! It is an ideal place if you are looking for peace and escape from the crowds. The house is directly on the beach, we could hear the wonderful sound of the waves all the time. There are only a few houses nearby, but we rarely saw any people, so it felt like the whole beach was at our disposal. We felt very safe. The house itself is very modern and super clean. We had a lot of space for us and the children. The equipment of the house is very good. My wife and I both worked remotely from there, so we we appreciated very fast internet. Viroj and Ning are super helpful and very welcoming. For our arrival they prepared some gifts. They gave us lots of recommendations. Viroj answered every question very quickly. When the hob broke down, he immediately organized replacement hob for us. We definitely recommend the place and Viroj&Ning as hosts!

Surasit always reacted quickly and friendly to any upcoming questions and problems. The accomodation was nice. We didn’t expect it to be separate rooms only reachable from outside and not directly connected to each other. But the view, the nice rooms and the terrace functioning as an outdoor living room where totally worth the price. Beds, dorm rooms and bathrooms where very clean. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. 😊

Au is an amazing host, she not only picked me up from the ferry and drove me to the train station for a very fair price, but even cooked me some dinner and made me breakfast free of charge 😊 Their place and the room is huge, right by the beach. Great for a short stopover in Chumphon!

Pretty nice stay, I wish I had the possibility to stay longer. Perfect beach with almost no one else there. Good parking spaces and very friendly workers.

I love that the house is on a quiet beach—super peaceful and just what I needed. There’s a restaurant right next to the house too, which made things easy when I didn’t feel like going out far. Check-in was simple, and the housekeeper was always around if I needed anything. The whole vibe was really relaxing, especially with both the pool and the beach right there. I had such a calm and chill time, just like I hoped.

This is beautifully decorated. Every morning you can enjoy the sound of the sea. There are some scenic attractions and other beaches in the area. However, shopping facilities are limited. A supermarket of European standards (Makro) is only available in Chumphon (40 min by car). That's the price you pay for seclusion. And in bad weather, the beach is very dirty afterwards. But of course the landlord can't do anything about that. We enjoyed it very much. If you are looking for nature and tranquility, this is the place to be.

A very spacious and remote place directly at the beach. If you are looking for solitude and a peaceful time apart from any tourism, that’s the spot.

An amazing place for those who love peace and tranquility. This is not a wild place alone with nature, but there are almost no people. Don't look for luxury beaches. they are not here. But the unit has everything for a comfortable life: a full set of dishes and household appliances, a TV and the Internet, as well as very comfortable hard mattresses, which Thailand generally pleased and surprised me with. Another positive aspect is that there is a train station nearby, from where you can get to anywhere in the country. but still the main advantage of living in this place is the people. The host family met me at the station and treated me like family. we were constantly in touch, went together to the market, to the store, and for a small fee - to the regional center of Chumphon. These are very decent, honest, friendly and sympathetic people! Thanks to them for the warm welcome!

Lovely place. It's completely isolated, private and far from other facilities/shops so you'll need your own form of transport. Tom and Nong have scooters and cars for rent at very reasonable prices. Or no need if you just want to enjoy the private beach by yourself. Chumphon Airport is 6kms away with Nok Air and Air Asia flying routes but only on their own sites (No Expedia, Booking etc). Tom and Nong made me feel like one of the family. I'll be back!

This is one of the best villa i have been in Thailand. It is very privacy and relaxing. I dont feel like going anywhere only staying home. You can find everything you need. Fresh market right across the road. 3 mini marts just in front and so many local shop and local restaurants. The place is exact like in photos. The beach is right in front of you with a large space for lots of activities. Big living room with plenty of space and big kitchen with all equipments. I will definitely go back there with my family but this time 3 nights are not enough. Thank you Vorasak for being such a great host. Chatchada
