House lovely and clean - 5 minutes walk from village centre where there is a village shop and plenty of pubs and a local chippy. Just opposite Valley Sett trail to New Mills. 5 minutes from start of walk to Kinder Scout. Would recommend staying here.

Paula and Danny’s house is nestled on a quiet lane close to the town’s centre and surrounded by the scenery of the High Peaks. The house is well equipped, very comfortable and well sized with beds and living space ample for 6 people. We used the house as a base for exploring the Peaks with the well known peaks of Kinder Scout and Mam Tor just a few miles away. If hiking isn’t your thing then trains to Buxton take just 14mins. The hosts were responsive, helpful and friendly and we’d definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay at Helen's place in Lymm, can't recommend enough! From the minute we arrived, Helen and Mark were very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for the local area. The property is a short walk from lots of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops in the heart of the village. The place was spotless and very well equipped - everything you need for a short break. Thanks so much for having us!

Brilliant place to stay particularly if you are going to the co-op live. It is a 10 minute walk to the tram station and when coming back from the co-op live you are on the quieter side. Lovely, clean, spacious place!

We’ve had a lovely two night break at North Cottage, the place is amazing, spotless, has everything you need and a great location. We did a local walk of around 10 miles that took us around the area and into Poynton which has a nice high street and a few places to eat, I would highly recommend taking a walk around the gardens as there is lots to see!! We will be rebooking to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Dove Cottage! Located within the gates of the main house the cottage felt very secure and private! Susan was super helpful with local recommendations and what pubs etc were dog friendly! Upon arrival there was a loaf of bread, butter, some oat cakes, crisps, cookies, some cheese and milk waiting for us which was such a nice touch!! We brought our dog and Susan had even left some lovely treats for her!! For anyone wanting easy access to the Peak District, a cosy place to stay with the most lovely hosts, we would definitely recommend Dove Cottage!!

Really lovely place, beautiful views from the balcony, and a very nice comfy place. Can’t complain at all the hosts gave amazing and easy instructions including videos and basically a whole PDF. Made my trip to Manchester very nice and worth while.

The house is beautiful. The Wisteria over the pergola was in full bloom! There’s everything you could possibly need especially in the kitchen. We spent most of the time we were in the house sitting in the conservatory. The beds are very comfortable and my daughter really enjoyed the ‘snuggly den’ nature of the room she used! It’s a real shame that guests cannot access the lake side.

Good Comfortable apartment with private parking. Although on busy road and opposite a pub, our Saturday night stay was great - all traffic etc calmed down by 1130 and we got a good nights sleep.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here and we would recommend to anyone visiting Sale or Manchester. Rachel is a great host, we had everything we needed in the apartment. To get to central Manchester was very easy using the tram. Would definitely return when we come back to Manchester.

Really enjoyable weekend. Simon’s house was ideal for us, in an easily accessible and easy to find location, within 15 mins walking distance from great bars and restaurants of Didsbury, as well as pleasant walks along the river. Would certainly stay again and recommend for others. Thanks!

The most beautiful get away for my birthday. The home was immaculate, beautiful decor and extremely clean. Extremely comfortable bed with clean linen, as well as spare pillows. All the amenities you’d need. Exceptional views and very clear instructions on how to find the property. Amazing hosts with an amazing home, couldn’t recommend more. Will definitely be recommending to others, and will definitely return.

Alonzo was incredibly accommodating, providing all the information we needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable weekend away with our family. After a long overnight journey from Plymouth in Devon to Manchester, it was a delightful surprise to find milk in the fridge, which allowed us to settle in with a comforting cup of coffee. It’s those thoughtful little touches that make such a big difference. The house itself was lovely and we truly appreciated being able to bring our three family dogs rather than having to leave them at home. This made our stay feel even more like a true family gathering. Most importantly, thank you, Alonzo, for allowing us to use your lovely home to honor our late father and lay him to rest in his final resting place. This was a cosy comfortable hideaway. with beautifull surroundings. perfect for a quiet getaway. a well presented and clean place to stay. setup for you to self cater easily or just enjoy the local restaurants Amazing hot tub with stunning view. 5 minutes walk from local amenities. the host is fantastic and could not be helpful enough. would recommend this place to any couple looking to get away.

My partner and I can’t even begin to put into words how blown away we were with our stay. We stayed over for our wedding weekend, and Tracey immediately started it off strong with balloons, card, and a bottle of bubbly. The property is absolutely breathtaking. It is well decorated - a nice mix of rustic and modern decor - with a gorgeous view of the countryside. All rooms were spacious and comfortable, and made us feel right at home. Tracey was extremely easy to communicate with and ensured that our stay was perfect. We will 100% be staying again in the future, and we urge anyone that wants to book here to do it!

I booked on Friday afternoon and arrived on Saturday, so was all very last minute, Liz kept in touch and met us there to show us around. Place is very dog friendly. Liz also checked in with us during our stay to see if all was ok. We went for lovely walks and spent time in the spa to relax in the evening, just what we all needed, will be recommending to my friends and family 10/10 many thanks 😊
