Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chiswick, Greater London

Staying with Inge was an absolute delight and the room has also been recently updated which was great. The area is very peaceful and safe, and only about a 10 min walk from the nearest tube station. Would recommend to anyone who would like to stay in a quieter area in London whilst also being close to main attractions in the centre.

Joanna's home is in a great location and she was a wonderful host. The property was exactly as shown in the photos and is relatively large by London standards - this is one of the benefits of being a bit further out the city center. Proximity to Richmond Park is a huge plus, particularly if you have a runner or cyclist in your family. Do note the travel time into central London is approximately 45-60 minutes, unless you happen to exactly time walking/bus/train schedules. On the plus side, you're a very short hop to Kew and other areas west of downtown, and a short Uber or Bolt ride to Heathrow. A couple of other HUGE positives - of the four rentals I've had in London, this was by far the quietest and most relaxed location. Restaurants/markets/etc. are all close by and accessible by bus if you're carrying groceries.

Travelled down as family of 12 for London Marathon weekend. The place was everything we wanted and more. It really has a ‘home from home’ feel and you immediately felt comfortable due to the numerous little touches the hosts have gone to. We stayed 3 nights and could have stayed longer…. Only minor feedback is the stairs to top floor is little difficult for the older members or those struggling after long run!! 🥵😂 When we are next this way, we will definitely look to book again. Carol’s lovely home is bright and airy. Shared bathroom is pristine, and I only saw one other person use it once. It was practically “mine”. As a solo female traveller, the very safe neighborhood (even late at night) and the leisurely 2 min walk to the train were a plus. Everyone on Airbnb SAYS they are a 2-min walk to everything, but Carol’s home literally is. Grocery, pubs, cafes, fine dining, and a lovely waterfront walkway in town, provide anything you might need. Carol herself is warm and friendly. Very responsive and helpful. Just a lovely human. 🙂 Note: The 30-min train ride into central London is not the tube. It’s a very comfortable, air conditioned “suburban line”. No transfers. Just walk the two mins, relax for 30, and you’re at Waterloo station, from which you can get anywhere. Can’t say enough good things. Be sure to check out the “French” cafe Feathers and Heart. Great food and service. *Gorgeous* garden with several shaded seating areas, and it is y ruly quiet.

Claire is a wonderful host. As soon as she greeted me I felt comfortable. She welcomed me with a cup of tea and a chat at her kitchen table. There was no awkwardness. She provided me with cutlery and crockery for my food and refused to let me wash up. Alongside being great company, Claire also recognised that I was tired from working and gave me space. The top floor en-suite bedroom is newly refurbished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I had two excellent nights sleep in a cosy double bed. In the morning, Claire offered tea, coffee and breakfast and checked the times of my buses for me. She was truly an excellent host and I would thoroughly recommend.

Very cozy and comfortable home with an amazing yard, close to restaurants, public transportation, and green spaces. Hosts are wonderful as well. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic location right next to Kew Gardens and within easy walking distance to Kew Gardens tube station (good links to London via the District Line). Nice and relaxed atmosphere in the surrounding area. Lovely cottage which feels very homely. 5 stars!

The mattress and bed pillows are very comfortable—the best we’ve had in our Airbnb experience. Walkable to Ealing Broadway for every kind of shopping, and only one block to North Ealing station. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts are quick to respond and very helpful.

Good base for exploring West London - handy for the tube at Turnham Green or Gunnersbury, equally for the overground. Quiet flat. Would suit a couple looking to explore.

We loved our time at Phil's apartment and our highlight was having a beer on the terrace after a day of exploring Kew Gardens 😁 It was as described, very comfortable and had everything you may need to cook a full meal. The bed was very comfortable and the linen good quality. We booked the apartment for it's proximity to Kew Gardens but it's well served by bus and the Elizabeth line into central London. Philip's communication before, during and after our stay was excellent and found him very friendly with an excellent sense of humour. We would definitely stay here again 😁

Boris's stay is great! The room was well equipped. The surroundings were good and most amenities are easily accessible. My husband and I could easily walk to the parks and local spots nearby. we enjoyed the walk around the river and in the Raven's court park especially. The air bnb is located at a good distance from the Hammersmith station making it easier for us to travel to the other parts of london. All in all a great experience.

Diana's home in Kew Gardens is very comfortable and spacious, with a homely feel. Easy transport into London Central, but with the benefit of a green and family oriented neighborhood. As keen walkers runners, we loved the proximity to the Thames path and the wonderful Richmond Park, in addition to Kew Gardens. Thank you!

Will was so nice and available. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet and organised. Will gave us snacks and bottles on the check in, something we didn’t get on other places. The only problem was the area that we didn’t like so mach. Also if you’re planning to stay for then few nights and wash your clothes it will be problematic because there is no washing machine. Other than that everything was wonderful!!!

Overall the place is described as it is written before we booked. The place fit perfectly for what we needed for the stay.

Lovely private flat in Sheen , a short walk to Richmond shops and restaurants . Nice pub along the road that we enjoyed . Secluded and private development, felt safe . Parking was really handy and easy . Lots of planes and air traffic but the flat itself was very nicely decorated and ideal for easy access to Richmond and the surrounding areas

We loved our stayed in Acton at Glenn’s place. Very easy to get to the Underground and fantastic local recommendations from Glenn for restaurants. We loved the local Thai place, chippy, and the Greek place right across the street. The space is bigger than I thought. Had a lovely stay here.

We loved the place! It’s exactly like on the pictures and better. Comfy beds, great kitchen and living room. Good connection to all London sights and boroughs. Highly recommend!

A lovely flat, very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. Rebecca was friendly, helpful and very responsive. I loved how the light streamed through the flat on a sunny day, the personal artworks and the sweet little balcony for morning coffee. The listing does not disappoint and we had everything we needed. Also, Rebecca’s local recommendations are all spot on.

I have stayed at Peter’s previously, and will stay again. I just love the peace and quiet being next to Sheen Common and woods. The flat works perfectly.

This is a really beautiful, well-thoughtout apartment. We loved the decorations and the little practical things like how the kitchen lights up when you walk in. The high ceilings and outdoor space made the one-bedroom feel quite spacious for our family of three. Debbie was very responsive and made sure we had everything we need. We would love to stay here again when in town.

This was the second time we are staying at Lola's apartment! We had an amazing 2-day stay at Lola's apartment! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything I needed. What truly made the stay special was Lola's kindness and hospitality. She went out of her way to help in many ways. Maria was excellent, very responsive, great place. Not much light in the place because it’s right on the street, but if you don’t mind that, it’s perfect for a short stay.

This is our second time at this home, and we really enjoyed our stay! Karin is so easy to communicate with and super flexible! You can beat the location of this apt. Highly recommend.
