Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chicamocha Canyon

We are totally grateful to Jenny and her family, they are excellent hosts and very caring and warm people... The house is very cozy and has absolutely everything you need for a quiet and pleasant stay, the view of the place is incredible and the location of the house is close to all the tourist places you want to visit in Barichara... we would love to return as soon as possible and for those interested, Jenny's family has an ice cream shop in the village of Barichara, highly recommended, delicious ice cream and very caring service. Without further ado, highly recommended.

This place was amazing. Location is perfect. Close to everything but in a peaceful location. Olga is incredible and was very patient with her communication as I speak no Spanish. Every morning she would make us a fantastic authentic Colombian breakfast that would start the day right. We came for a wedding and with all the rooms and space, it was the PERFECT place for groomsmen to prepare for a wedding. Jorge was great to communicate with as we were very late arriving and also worked to get me a ride back to airport. Loved it. I will say if you are used to sleeping in very cold conditions, this may be a challenge for you to get used to. That seems to be a common thing in Barichara though.

Luis Eduardo is a perfect host! He was super friendly and communicative from the first contact until after we had left. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. The kitchen is much better equipped than most places in Colombia and Luis Eduardo even left us ingredients for us to use when we arrived. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the view is beautiful. If you like birds, you will love waking up with their songs and watching the different colorful species in the surrounding trees. If you’re looking for peace and comfort in that area, you won’t regret staying there!

The stay at the property was very good, we had a great time. Giovanny from the beginning, he was very attentive at all times, both with the directions to arrive, and with anything we needed. Javier and Carmen, they are very friendly people and always willing to help and make everything work properly. The place is very quiet, ideal for resting. We look forward to returning on an upcoming trip!

The place is comfortable, clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. They make you feel at home from the first moment, with a cozy and quiet atmosphere. One of the great charms of the place are the sunrises and sunsets: spectacular views that really make each day begin and end with a feeling of peace and beauty. It's definitely a place I'd love to go back to. Highly recommended!

Excellent space, I would come back again

Everything was excellent. The cabin is very nice, cozy, spacious and clean met our expectations. It is very well located, easily accessible and very safe. Sofia is very responsive, quick to respond and was attentive all the time. We spent a few wonderful days as a family. Super recommended.

Our stay in Serranía del Viento was only one night but if we were able to stay, we would have stayed a couple more. We took the kindness of Patricia and Álvaro, both were very attentive and loved during our stay and made us feel right at home. The place has incredible views, an offer of varied and very good tasting food, the rooms provide privacy, and comfort and throughout the space you can breathe 24/7 a full air of tranquility and peace. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

An ideal place to unwind and unwind. The nights are magical, with a stunning starry sky, perfect for contemplating. The pool is cool and very pleasant, ideal for relaxing. Every corner of the place is full of special details that exceed any expectations, the photos don't do it justice. The combination of the place, the guadual with a beautiful sound in the afternoon and some majestic trees was very special. Definitely a place we want to go back to. Highly recommended!
