Lisa was such an amazing host. At first, she helped us change the date of the booking very easily. After check-in, she stopped by to make sure we have everything we need. She brought a mosquito spray for my mom. The location is absolutely beautiful. Totally recommend staying at her place.

We loved staying at the Hello Sunshine cottage! The place was clean, comfortable, and immediately felt like our own little home away from home. The place feels private, the view is stunning, and it was a breath of fresh air to unplug from technology during our stay. The sunroom was perfect for completing puzzles during the day and the backyard was well equipped to enjoy a peaceful fire at night. Alanna was a great host and was very quick to communicate with us whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying at Hello Sunshine, and will definitely be booking again!

My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

It was great to be back again. The place was wonderful again and we truly appreciate all that Tim & Cindy do to keep the place up and looking nice. We also noticed that there was a new wood stove which was a lot nicer for keeping the place warm at night as we had a couple of chilly nights, so thank you for that upgrade. we really enjoy the place and the location in proximity to the lake. The cottage was spacious, views were very nice. I liked the large dinning table where everyone could sit and enjoy a meal. I liked that it had 2 full bathrooms, the host left some nice touches in terms of courtesy supplies and extra towels as needed. Kitchen had good counter space, stove top worked well, sink was nice and deep for easy cleaning. The additional kitchen table was useful too. Start the oven a little early, it 's slightly slow to warm up, and once at desired temp, it works perfectly. Fishing off the dock was very good, lots of fish. We rented a small motorized boat from Emerald Isle marina for a reasonable price ( only 2 min drive from this cottage). The back yard is very spacious and flat terrain is good if you wanted to have activities. I tried the kayaks, both worked well. Enough life jackets too. We used the fire pit, which is great for evenings. Sun set view is lovely, nice neighborhood, I felt safe the entire time.

We happened to come during mayfly season, so there were tons of them outside and we couldn’t have a campfire at night, which was a bit disappointing. But the host was super kind and helpful, and the place had everything we needed. During the day, we still got to go boating and had a nice BBQ, and spent three amazing nights indoors. Great Cottage for a weekend getaway! if you are looking for a peaceful weekend getaway that isn't too far from Toronto this would be it! I went with 9 of my friends and it accommodated us all very comfortably. we did bring some air mattresses as we didn't really want to share beds being that we were all guys.. we normally play volleyball at the Cottage but this one didn't have the space for that however there was a park only 10 minutes away! absolutely loved the outdoor shower! would gladly book again

We had an incredible stay at Michelle and Gary’s beautiful designer cottage! The space is stunning, with an amazing view that instantly puts you at ease. It truly feels like a luxury hotel—every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (just bring your food!), and the bedrooms were super comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. The layout is perfect for multiple families, with a large open area to gather and plenty of cozy nooks to relax and unwind separately. The boathouse was a big hit—it’s well-equipped with lots of water sports gear, and the dock is a great spot for fishing. An ideal getaway!! we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed at Laura's cabin on our honeymoon and it was amazing! We love the outdoors and if the weather has cooperated we would have taken the kayaks out onto the lake. If your looking for a quick quiet getaway close to Gravenhurst with all the amenities of cottage county, this is your place to stay! The cabin was clean, stocked with all your kitchen essentials you will need.
