Biensdorf is a tiny place close to Frankenberg/Saxony, 20 min. to Chemnitz and 40 min. to Dresden, 5 km to the A 4 motorway. We'd like to introduce you to Ortrud. This older lady was built in 1820. It is named after its previous owner, the village school teacher, who spent her life in this "Haisel." Since July 2021, we have been building and renovating our cottage. We have tried to preserve the nostalgic charm and combine it with modern details. If you feel comfortable in such an atmosphere, you are in good hands and very welcome in our Ortrud.

Dear guests, The cottage is a former residence for workers of the Göritzhain paper mill, which was built in 1913. In 1999 we bought the property with about 5000sqm, which was in a neglected state. It took several years to design the property and create a park. In 2009, we started renovating the house. In addition to our full-time work, the renovation took place on our own. Completion took place in 2017.
