Gîte JAYA

MarjolaineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A very pleasant stay in this cottage associated with the "Pain de Jaya". The accommodation itself was really great. Very well arranged, equipped and very zen (large yoga practice room for those interested), deckchairs and outdoor tables on the wooden terrace overlooking the surrounding nature. A little hot during the heat wave this weekend (but equipped with the air conditioning that works well) and a little noisy at times (note if you are really afraid but good enough logical when you are above the bread making... it works below): largely offset by the smells of fresh bread and the possibility of ordering it for breakfast. The setting is super quiet. Not for you if you're looking for a lively atmosphere. Ideal for relaxing in the countryside, however. All in all, a really great place that we recommend without hesitation! Thank you to Patricia who was very available and pleasant to answer our questions.

Very good stay in Dordogne, the house was very clean, the setting is very pleasant, nice garden, Gyslaine is welcoming and the information is clear. I liked the key box which allows us to arrive at our own pace and leave without constraint; I recommend it for the cleanliness and location of the place, close to many tourist places!

Little barn in the heart of Périgord noir Dordogne

LindaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay! Laurent and Emilie have created a lovely home away from home in a peaceful setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature. They were super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions or needed information. It was an easy walk or bike ride to Montignac. The barn was well equipped and very cozy. It was all just super!!

We stayed at Anne-Sophie's apartment for a long weekend and had a wonderful experience. The place was spotless and beautifully maintained. She had thoughtfully provided plenty of information about the town, as well as a lovely welcome gift of homemade apple juice and fig jam, whch was a really nice touch. Anne-Sophie was very helfpul and always quck to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying here!

Independent Cottage in Périgord Noir

MichaelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Lovely little place, perfect for two people, ideally situated between Brive and Terrasson. Very clean, comfortable bed, everything you need. Great for eating outdoors, and a little lawn. The steps up might be problematic for people with mobility issues, however. Easy access to local supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants, markets. The World Heritage Site at Lascaux is only 20 minutes drive, and the Dordogne Valley is very close. The countryside is magnificent, but beware the pollen count in the spring if you have hay fever. Other people have mentioned road noise... yes, there is a bit, but it's not intrusive... listen to the amazing birdsong instead. We had a great holiday there.
