Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chaumont-sur-Loire

A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. We had a great time at Christophe's place. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the location to visit the castles of the Loire and the amenities (especially those for our baby as if we were at home and the hot tub that allowed us to rest well)! We recommend it without hesitation!

Small house, clean, practical, nothing missing. The owners are easily reachable and help as much as they can in the event of any problems. The hot tub was extra. The pool area is pleasant and well appointed. Very well located, it allows you to make magnificent visits nearby: Chambord, the Château de Villesavin, Cheverny, the activities of Le Loisirs Loire Valley, rent bicycles,… With our 3-year-old child, it was a great destination.

We loved our stay at Alexia's 2-story 17th century home, which was exactly as described. It was a great location for visiting the chateaus in the area, convenient for shopping, and we enjoyed using the BQ grill for home cooked meals in the private patio area. After a busy day sight seeing, it was a terrific space to unwind [and 100% better experience here than a hotel. ]. We would also recommend purchasing some of her wines - the Rose was very good and affordably priced!

Just returned from a short stay at a truly unique and historic manor house tucked in the French countryside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like stepping back in time. The host has beautifully preserved the original interiors—complete with antique furnishings and fabric-covered walls—giving the home so much character and charm. The kitchen, however, is thoughtfully updated and well-stocked with everything needed to cook wonderful meals while soaking in the beauty of the setting. We wish we had more time to simply relax and take it all in!

We have just had the best 12 days staying at Oliver's stunning garden room. The accomodation was perfect, the garden stunning & the hot tub was a treat after a day exploring the area. Oliver reccomended some great places to visit that we may not have gone to as there are so many great places to visit. We had the pleasure of having a drink with Oliver & Marie before we left which was lovely way to end our stay....merci Oliver 🙂 We would reccomend staying at Oliver's to anyone & you would love it 👍🏻🙂

For all those who are looking for a special lovingly furnished "cave accommodation" in nature where nothing is missing during the stay, a clear recommendation! We were there for 3 days and did a lot of activities (castle visits, canoe trips, wine tastings,...) and the children were very excited about living in a grotto. Many thanks to Carole & David for letting us use their "nest".

Chantal’s place was beautiful. Lovely furnishings and decor. The view was unbelievable and both rooms were equally comfortable. The sound of the Loire going under the bridge lulled you to sleep. The quality of the bedding was top notch! We enjoyed meeting Chantal and loved her energy. Highly recommend!

Wonderful week I spent in this beautiful and spacious apartment, everything is wonderful. Carrefour just next door. A joyful place full of happy people and tourists. Bernadette is very welcoming. Despite the heatwave, the room was relatively cool. We spent two nights and slept very well. The longère is set in a very quiet hamlet.

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Great welcome by our host in the accommodation, great location! What a pleasure to find some delicious homemade cake after our bike ride! Roselyne is adorable, very responsive and very helpful following an oversight on our part. It would be a real pleasure to go back!

It's a really peaceful house where you can find everything you need for a pleasant time. The beds are comfortable , the kitchen is very well equipped , books , games , a stove to warm up . The decor is cute . The pool is well heated and large . The garden is beautiful!! Very well maintained and there is an enchanted atmosphere with animals and water points. Our kids loved the little houseboat and my son is more than happy to have been able to fish . Thank you for your hospitality and kindness . We want to come back next time .

Such an amazingly charming and well decorated restored French country farmhouse located in a beautiful setting. Kudos to Eliane for her incredibly warm reception, tasty sparkling wine, the best freshly made crepes we had ever eaten and delicious goat cheese to welcome us. She also suggested a fantastic local restaurant and even helped us with the reservation. Her suggestion for a local winery was also gratrly appreciated, the experience with the owner was outstanding. We highly recommend staying there and would definitely return in the future. Absolutely the best! In fact, her gorgeous home, attention to detail, generous assistance and otherwise respect for our privacy exemplify the gold standard of how all Air B and Bs should aspire to emulate perfection.

we had a very pleasant stay, the park is very peaceful and the accommodation suitable for a couple with 2 children the location allows easy access to the various surrounding castles and the restaurant and shopping recommendations were perfect! a big thank you!

Great stay under the sun. The pool and the large outdoor table are great. The children had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay, to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many visits and walks to do nearby.

Really great stay. A host who answers all the possible questions we could have in advance. Super detailed instructions and tips that make the stay as easy as possible. AirBnb is REALLY designed for the customer. Hypoallergenic dishwashing liquid to suit EVERYONE, small tupperwares available for those who wish to take a snack with them and so on. Very friendly and responsive host. Special mention for Chipo, who was a quality neighbor during our stay!

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Former sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with a view of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!
