What a lovely lake cabin escape! Gilbert was communicative and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and relaxing on the dock. The place has all the essentials and cute rustic charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

Stayed for three nights with perfect weather and perfect accomodatiins . Spent many hours in the river, on the swing and in the game room. We absolutely love it there and hope to come back someday soon. Thank you

The home was exactly as described and the hosts were extremely responsive. The dock was our favorite part - it had a great view and was super comfortable. Also, the basement with foosball and ping pong was a great place to hang out. We will be back again soon!

Everything was exceptional and I told so over and over because the place and the hosting exceeded my expectations which was her intent. She has brilliant touches in the home. Great kitchen for foodies. Warm clean blankets everywhere. Comfortable attractive inviting seating everywhere. A real gem. Will rent again. Inquire with Amanda. And rent from her as her vacation spot is unparalleled in my opinion.

I can’t express how nice this cabin is, it’s beautiful. Very nice decor and comfortable beds & furniture. The upstairs loft is so cozy! The deck was spacious and well maintained, the views of the mountains from the covered porch were pretty. Parking is easygoing, no steep driveway. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming! This cabin is not far from the main highway, makes travel easy to navigate the area and explore. The cabin is a few minutes drive from WCU, which is very convenient for anyone in town visiting their college kid. I enjoyed my stay, and I recommend this place a 100%.

What a wonderful property! We visited for our honeymoon and had such a lovely time. Spent a good chunk of our time in the loft, listening to the rain on the tin roof! The forest behind the house is beautiful. I learned that I really love baths while here, as it was a bit too chilly to use the outdoor shower. Didn't mind that at all and it was really nice to scrub down and soak in the tub. We loved how getting to Foxfire and Tallulah Gorge was very quick from this location. White Birch Provisions in Clayton is incredible and you should visit if you stay here. Overall was a fantastic time and we are so thankful we could experience this beautiful, magical place! <3

Great get-away for a family! Lots to do on the property, you can fish, swing, look for salamanders in the creek and look at the waterfall. Sitting by the firepit watching the river go by was relaxing.

This cozy, beautiful spot is a treasure! Kim was very attentive to details in creating a space that is welcoming and feels like home. The kitchen was well equipped, decor blends modern and mountain cottage. Plenty to entertain at the house or nearby. The description helped us know how to best plan our visit to the area and there were great tips and maps at the house too. Beautiful scenery and a great place to enjoy birds, fall foliage, hiking and much more. So thankful for a great getaway!

Patsy’s place was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. Seeing it with our own eyes was even better than the pictures on the listing. Beautiful lake front. Multiple outside dining and grilling spaces and a dock. There were only 4 of us but 3-4 more peeps could’ve joined us comfortably. Patsy was great with communicating and answering our questions. We would come back.

Great quiet place to stay and perfectly located to enjoy many of the curvy roads including the dragon.

We LOVED our stay. Perfect location! You felt like you were worlds away but were actually close to everything. Easy to get to (a little bumpy on the dirt road leading to it), close to everything, and the best layout. The house had everything we needed and more. Can’t wait to come back!

The cabin is in a perfect location and we felt at home. I enjoyed drinking my coffee out on the porch and looking out at the water and mountain across the lake. There are restaurants nearby and a grocery store. Roger stopped by and checked in on us, to see if we needed anything. He gave us fishing advice as well as local attractions to check out. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. Krista & Jesse

We had a nice calm stay, the kayaking was certainly the main reason for booking this cabin and it was lovely with a trip on the lake. The place was nice and rustic inside, and jacuzzi was also good. The only complaint was the coffee pod machine wasn't working and constantly switched on and off

Wonderful time in this home, tons of space and close to everything downtown. Lovely location with a peaceful dock to sit out for coffee. Home was comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks again!

Had everything we needed and the location was near hikes and plenty of outdoor activities for our two toddlers so that was great!

Everything about it was perfect. Make sure you have a good car with the ability to go into low gear or all wheel drive. The steep switch backs arnt for the faint hearted. I appreciated the seasonings and tooth picks and all the extra small things that made it all more worth it. I wish the rule book had been on the table with the welcoming card. I didn’t notice it until my last day. But that is my fault . I couldn’t have been more satisfied . It was peaceful and more serene than I anticipated. Definitely coming back here.

This place is awesome! It’s nestled into a hillside along a stream with views of the lake through the trees. It’s located on a dead end road and you have to cross the bridge to access the property. I like that because I was able to let my dog off leash and I didn’t have to worry about her getting distracted by other dogs or people walking by. It seemed very private, even though they were neighbors close by. I enjoyed having my morning coffee either sitting in the bench on the creek or on the deck . Afternoons were great hanging in the hammock or walking down to the waterfall, which is about a 10 minute walk. We were celebrating our anniversary during our stay and we had a nice relaxing week at the property! We would like to return again soon.😊

We had a wonderful stay at this Blue Ridge cabin! The cabin vibes were exactly what we were hoping for peaceful, cozy, and relaxing. We especially loved the screened-in porch, which was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. The beds were very comfortable, and the location was great close to everything but still felt tucked away and quiet. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again!
