Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Chastreix

What a lovely old house , in a tiny peaceful village. We couldn't have had a nicer stop over on our trip from Portugal to Switzerland, and I enjoyed my birthday lazing and playing in the garden. The furnishings and kitchen are not modern, but the house is full of style and charm. Although early June, the house was cool at night and we used the amazing log burner. We were there on Whitsun Monday, and a lot of local shops and restaurants closed early, but we had a trip to the old hill top village of Usson, and bought the best ever chicken from a rotisserie in the nearby village. We didn't meet Sonia, but communication with her was very good and friendly.

The Aksent cottage is a small traditional marvel, renovated with excellent taste. The equipment necessary for a perfect stay is there, we were even able to enjoy rhododendrons in bloom in the garden. Very, very nice place!

I highly recommend this accommodation which was very warm and perfectly clean! Ideal for a quiet stay and to enjoy the many hikes of Puy de Dôme ☺️

Listing as described. It's enough for 2 families, and there's everything you need. It was hot, the house stays cool and that's great! One toilet, it's the only point to note in the house. Outside, beautiful view of a valley or horses strolling and coming to see you. The terrain is sloping, which requires the tables to be properly wedged in order to eat properly. There are 2 tables and many chairs. 2 armchairs to relax, a little tight when there are more than 2 adults. Otherwise, beautiful waterfall not far away, very quiet place and small hike of 4 km around the house, otherwise further away there are paths everywhere! In short, it's well located, you just need a car to get to the Auvergne tower (or by bike)

We stayed in the accommodation with friends, and had a great weekend. Loïs was responsive & available. The tipi is confirmed in the photos and well-equipped. The environment is very peaceful. Logout assured!

We had a very pleasant stay in this vacation home. The surroundings and the view were beautiful! The house is certainly large enough and was very clean upon arrival. We felt right at home. We have made beautiful walks in the area every day; be sure to climb the Puy de Sancy! Afterwards, we could enjoy the terrace at the cottage in this quiet area.

The accommodation is very well equipped and spacious enough for 2 people. The location is ideal for hiking in Puy de Sancy.

It’s a really beautiful place that’s well placed with a good view. The hosts are really nice and are very quick to respond and accommodate to our specific needs. However, it’s missing some essentials like soap, towels and bedding. So don’t forget to get those things with you!

A nice little studio for the few days spent discovering Auvergne. Located in a ski resort, local shops are often closed in the summer season. The studio itself is easy to find with the instructions given, well located and a parking space easy to find as well. It contains the bare minimum for a good stay.

Michel is proactive and took care to contact us so that our arrival and our stay go in the best conditions. The accommodation is very welcoming, functional and well located. I'll be happy to come back if I have a chance.
