Holiday rentals with lake access in Chasteaux

Chantal is very welcoming as well as her husband!! Only small downside, poor TV reception and wifi not easy!! Very beautiful region, beautiful sites to visit and quiet accommodation

Beautiful setting, even more beautiful in real life than in the photos! Alexandre is a very welcoming and responsive host. We took advantage of the jacuzzi and the calm. The living room is also very nice. Make sure you specify the functional equipment (example: 2 ovens and 1 dishwasher do not work well). I recommend.

The accommodation was incredible, very well arranged and tastefully decorated. Everything was there to allow us to have a pleasant stay. Very well equipped and well thought-out facilities for a good relaxing time. Address to keep for our next visit to this beautiful region.

We had a wonderful weekend. The accommodation is a small corner of paradise, beautiful and quiet, nestled in the middle of the fields without being out of the way. Ideally designed for a large group, we arrived with 12 motorcycles, which was absolutely no problem, which is not always the case. The buildings are beautiful, the accommodation is very well arranged and equipped. The rooms are all very beautiful and allow you to live there in large numbers without disturbing each other. 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets, it's very convenient. A beautiful terrace and barbecue area make meals very convivial, all with a breathtaking view of the setting sun. In short, this accommodation is worth the detour and makes you want to extend the stay... we highly recommend it :-)

The host is very responsive. Description of the house very faithful to the listing. Peaceful and easy to access. The views are beautiful. The house is super cute and nice. It feels like home. Very well-equipped house. The single beds on the mezzanine are suitable for children and teens (not adults). Patrick, his right-hand man, welcomed us warmly and was very available.

A pleasant wk in this town of Tauriac where all the tourist sites are nearby and especially the pond which is right next to the house, ideal for sports activities. The house is very functional and very well-equipped.

A perfect stay, from the first contact to departure. A great, lovingly renovated and furnished house with a beautiful terrace in the middle of the village... in the morning at breakfast the view of the first excursion boats and canoes, in the evening hot air balloons just above the river and village. We enjoyed many hikes and sightseeing in the immediate vicinity and then always looked forward to "coming home" to the vacation home. The contact with Anne was nice and uncomplicated… everything great and highly recommended!

Michel and his wife are very welcoming and friendly. The estate is beautiful and quiet. The listing is as described and photographed. Very comfortable, cool during these hot days... 10 minutes from Sarlat and restaurants. Excellent stay and we'll be happy to come back. Thanks for everything.

We had a great time at Corinne's place. We were able to have very pleasant and interesting conversations with her. The environment is also very pleasant: a nearby lake that was very useful in view of the temperatures (swimming possible), an excellent restaurant in Lissac and possible walks/hikes without turning on the car. The nearby villages is lovely.

Bright, spacious apartment, close to the city center and amenities, in all respects consistent with the description. Easy communication with Julien, we are satisfied with our stay.

It was simply an amazing experience to be with Karine and her family..They were all so super nice and Karine went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We got a lot of great ideas for where to go and what to experience and if you just want to stay on site, there was a lovely pool and lovely atmosphere. Listing as advertised Beautiful 200-year-old building, very well located to visit this pretty village with its amenities, small grocery store, butcher shop, restaurants. Orange juice and milk were waiting for us in the fridge. Terry is very friendly and attentive. Recommended place to stay

Very clean and new accommodation. Big private terrace really nice. The hosts are very pleasant, discreet and responsive. We will be happy to come back if we come back to the area.

Many thanks to Viviane for her welcome, kindness and suggestions. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Local products made by Viviane were waiting for us. A real treat! The house is very functional with lots of amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) and kitchen accessories. The location is very good because it's close to many tourist sites and activities (canoeing, tree climbing, swimming pool, etc.). We recommend Viviane's place without hesitation.

We have just spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at Naomi's lovely gite. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed; we especially liked the covered terrace off the kitchen and the pool area. The gite is in a very peaceful, secluded location but within easy reach of plenty of picturesque bastide towns. The closest, Villeréal, is only a 10 minute drive away and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and food shops as well as weekly markets and evening food markets - it was really lovely. Naomi and her family are fantastic hosts - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. A great holIday let!

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

We had a great stay at Myriam and Nicolas house house. The place is peaceful and beautiful and close to lots of sights. They are available and very welcoming. We'll come back to try the new cottages ☺️

A great weekend with friends at Stéphane's. You feel very good in the house and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Everything is very clean and the house is well equipped. No problem staying with children. We'll be happy to go back!

Corinne and Laurent welcomed us into their world created so that their guests have activities and essentials at their disposal. The pool is very nice. A real pool for swimming, swimming, and fun.
