House holiday rentals in Chassezac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Éric and Caroline's house is alone in the middle of untouched nature in complete tranquility, but still so central that you can explore the surroundings all around. The house, or rather the whole property, has been beautifully renovated and has retained its old charm. We liked the natural pool very much. The contact with Éric and also by phone with Caroline was very friendly and pleasant, thank you! We already had a few houses in the south of France, this one was definitely a very special one!

A stay on the edge of perfection. Beautiful house, very pleasant, faithful to its description and allowing relaxation, relaxation and rest. We had a great stay in this charming house in Ucel, Ardèche. The house is full of character, beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped for a relaxing holiday. The setting is peaceful, with a very beautiful well-maintained pool, ideal for cooling off after a day of exploring the area. The welcome was warm and everything went very smoothly. We had the most incredible stay at this 3-bedroom townhome in Avignon! The home itself was absolutely wonderful—full of charm, character, and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking views that made every morning and evening feel like a dream. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short, scenic walk to local restaurants and the main square, which made exploring Avignon so easy and enjoyable. Whether we were relaxing at the home or out discovering the city, everything about our stay felt special. Highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Provence. We truly didn’t want to leave!

we had a lovely stay in a peaceful environment, with a beautiful view. Christian is a host who likes to share the love of his region and offers good ideas for hikes, restaurants, walks, etc. Host available who does not hesitate to give a hand in case of any problem.

We had a great stay at Myriam and Yves's. Everything was perfect. Already the welcome: they are both adorable, very caring. The house they renovated themselves is exceptional. Both very isolated, in a remarkable setting, and very functional. There was really nothing missing. We were able to go hiking from the cottage. We highly recommend this cottage. A big thank you to Myriam and Yves for all the attention and also for the strawberry jam.

We had a great week at Anne's place! The cottage is very nice, spacious and nicely decorated. Exactly like the pictures. You have a fantastic view and you have a lot of privacy as a guest. The village of Ribes is beautiful and small, and the surroundings are also beautiful. The contact with Anne was very good. We would definitely like to come back!

Beautifully restored, lovingly maintained stone house in the middle of nature. Very practical and very tasteful furnishings: Perfectly equipped kitchen, mosquito nets over the beds, beautiful terrace and small garden...The house is located in a beautiful landscape with wooded hills, small hamlets, many streams and small rivers. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. An idyllic, very quiet place to leave everyday life far behind and gaze at the stars at night.

Welcoming host, peaceful environment. We enjoyed the hot tub. Shops relatively close to Les Vans. We recommend people looking for calm and authenticity.

A magical place, set in the middle of nature! Interior of the house impeccable but the best is the exterior. With the summer kitchen, the pool, the view, the petanque court. Amazing, I would recommend!

My stay went very well in a very small beautiful village, isolated and rocked by the permanent music of the Thines river in the distance. From the accommodation, the breathtaking view of this Ardèche valley gives all its charm and character to this experience. A big thank you to Estelle for her clear explanations, for the quality of the accommodation which is well equipped and for the comfortable bedding (because let's never forget that it's also for (good) sleep that we are there :) )

A magical stay in the heights. Unobstructed view of the mountain and superb accommodation, beautiful decor with beautiful materials, everything we love! From breakfast on the terrace to an early evening aperitif in the grass, we will not forget a single moment. Beautiful region with a lot to discover. We had a fantastic time in Fab's house... far too short a time as it turned out... so much to see, do and discover in the Ardèche which is beautiful. Fabrice had a host of great walking, swimming and visiting recommendations... the suggested visit to Plage du Cirque de Gens was wonderful for swimming, relaxing and jumping off rocks. Definitely a place we need to revisit for a lot longer...
