The Prairie Home

Settled far out in the Tallgrass Prairie of the Flint Hills, the Prairie Home provides wide and endless views from a private hilltop. All rooms in the home, which was built by local craftsmen from native limestone blocks, have huge windows which frame the natural art of the prairie. Handmade woodwork complements the extensive interior stonework. The soaring ceilings provide a backdrop for original art collected by the owners. And everywhere you look, the setting will take your breath away.

The Lark Inn at FoxHollow

The home is very comfy and great for a long term stay as we have a washer and dryer available. There is a basement with access from the interior for safety during storms if needed. The patio is very secluded and great for outdoor dining; a charcoal grill is provided. In the Sunroom there is a desk and chair and great wifi service. Comfortable for four guests but can accommodate up to 6 guests. (bedroom has a king size bed, sunroom has two twins and sofa fold out into a queen size bed)

Plum Street Guesthouse

Plum Street Guesthouse is a lovely Victorian home on a quiet residential street in the heart of Cottonwood Falls and the Flint Hills. It is just a few blocks from downtown shopping, restaurants, the historic Chase County Courthouse and the River Bridge Park. It is less than 5 miles from Chase County Lake, Tallgrass Prairie National Park, and a National Scenic Byway. Enjoy the comfortable home, the front porch and the shady patio and back yard. Middle Creek Tree House

This luxurious treehouse is out in the middle of nowhere overlooking Middle Creek in Chase County Kansas. It was constructed by lumber that was logged and milled at a local sawmill. All the logs were cut off the Wells Ranch which is where the treehouse is located. Two live Ash trees grow thru the structure. There are 2 wood stoves as well as propane heat in bedroom and living room. This is off the grid with a 14kw generator for power. There is running water and a fridge for use.

While cruising the winding backroads of the Flint Hills to the property, you will immediately become enchanted by the peaceful scenery, beautiful skies with striking cloud formations, wind swirling through the trees, an abundance of animal life, and the flora and fauna. Enjoy your stay in one of our 3 group tents each sleep 4. Play some games in the Club House. Enjoy alfresco dining in the spacious farmhouse kitchen. Later enjoy popcorn and an outdoor movie or relax by the fire.

The "Church" Guesthouse

Come to church this weekend . . . The Church Guesthouse in Cottonwood Falls that is! The Church is an artfully revitalized Presbyterian Church built in 1885 which now has four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths and will sleep up to 10 adults. Two of the bedrooms ( with queen beds) are downstairs along with a bath and a half downstairs. 2 bedrooms are upstairs (two twins and one with a full size bed) the loft has two twins with a full bath upstairs. Parties and events are not allowed.

Elmdale Treehouse

Elmdale Treehouse is nestled in the trees of historic Chase County. It provides the perfect quiet retreat for couples looking to get away from it all. This prairie hideaway is spacious enough for small families and just minutes away from The National Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, as well as the oldest working Kansas courthouse. Enjoy fishing at the Chase State Lake just a few miles up the road or wade through the cool waters of the Chase Lake Falls and wildlife area.
