Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Charles City County

Great space! Larger than I thought and the hosts are super chill.

This place was great! The location makes it easy to get to many places in Richmond quickly and it was a perfect location for a family wedding in nearby Maymont. The house is beautiful and the furnishings very comfortable. The pool was a special bonus - lovely and relaxing with incredible plantings. Clearly a lot of time was spent considering what guests might want. I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy it.

This house was terrific for family to stay at during our son's graduation place. Beautiful, spacious home in a beautiful setting right on the river. The indoor and outdoor amenities were many and very comfortable. The dock on the river was beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and with everything we needed for a nice stay.

Stayed here with family for a few days. It was clean and comfortable. I'm very picky about cleanliness and we were able to make ourselves at home immediately. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a few deer next to the house! It's walking distance to a supermarket, which is huge when you're on vacation and don't want to spend all day getting essentials! We would definitely stay here again!

This home felt like home away from home for us. Tom was very polite and easy to communicate to and even popped in mid-stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The mattresses in the room were the most comfortable I have ever experienced in an Airbnb, which is important to a lot of people. If travelling to the area, we would definitely look this one up again!

Alexander was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. This was located in a prime location. Tons to do within walking distance. Many excellent restaurants in the area. I highly recommend El Pope, Beauvine, Abi’s Books & Brews, and Little Mexico! The home was beautiful!!! Absolutely stunning in person. Very clean. Great amenities! It is a hidden gem! There’s tons to do if you want to drive as well. Very cute area. Well worth it!! Thank you!!

This home is located on a quiet, picturesque street within walking distance of many restaurants, parks, and attractions. Beautiful garden in the front. Sophisticated contemporary decor that is comfortable and functional. The owners clearly pay a lot of attention to detail and think of all the little things that travelers need. It was immaculate, bed was comfy, the towels were all soft, and there were supplies for a tea drinker like me. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would return.

The apartment was clean and matched the description. Matt was responsive and sent clear instructions for accessing the unit. I would definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend Mary as a host and her beautiful cottage. I will definitely stay here again if I travel this way. She is a wonderful person and her place is immaculately clean, well equipped and peaceful.

We had a great stay at Eddie's place! Very close to restaurants, Colonial Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens. The unit we stayed in was spotless and had all of the amenities that we needed during our stay. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay here! The location could not be better. We came for a weekend getaway and the location was so walkable that we parked our car on arrival on Friday and didn’t touch it again until leaving on Sunday. The unit itself is exactly as advertised - it’s the bottom unit so doesn’t get a crazy amount of sunlight but it was plenty for us and we spent most of our time out and about anyway. We’d 100% stay here again and will be recommending to our friends.

The apartment is so fun and exciting. The location is great and super easy to find. There’s plenty of street parking and walkable to a ton of restaurants and shops. Jasmyra was very responsive to questions I had prior and quickly after arrival. I would absolutely come back for another stay.

We absolutely loved staying at Ethan's place. It is very unique. Historical yet modern amenities and super clean. We have grown to despise hotels because of the cigarette, mildew and other odd smells associated with them. We love dogs and have dogs, yet appreciated being in a place that does not allow them so the apartment was free of dog hair and smelled so good. Ethan has two lovely small dogs, which you would not know unless you are lucky and get to meet them while they are having an outing. We appreciated the local restaurant recommendations. we especially loved Buttermilk Bake Shop. They have some of the best pastries we have ever had. We would absolutely try to stay here again if we were in the area.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating family birthdays! The house was spacious and had plenty of bathrooms. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. We especially enjoyed the porches overlooking the spectacular views!

We were a group of three couples who wanted our own bedroom and private bathroom to retreat to after enjoying busy days and evenings around Colonial Williamsburg. We really enjoyed the location of Kingsmill and all of the spacious condo amenities!

Great place 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. Very spacious bedrooms and common areas. Clean and equipped with all the necessities. My only “gripe” is I was expecting one king and one queen bed but got one king and two doubles. It wasn’t a big enough deal for us to request to be moved. Just be aware if that is a deal breaker for you.

Great stay! Spacious, clean, functional. Kids loved the pool and bowling.

This was a beautiful house with all the amenities and more. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Definitely a gem of a place and I would definitely stay again. Host was very responsive. Surrounding area was peaceful and very easy to find.

It was a quiet and lovely space with a ton of amenities (pool, mini golf) and close to downtown Williamsburg and local and state parks. The kitchen was great! Some of the other appliances inside were less quiet (vacuum, washing machine, dryer), but it was nice to have the appliances!

Super Responsive, everything was as described. Definitely would recommend.

The property was beautiful. It was a timeshare property so lots of things to do. We took advantage of a presentation for discount tickets to the water park. Check in was a little difficult as my name was not in the list because I’m not the owner so there was some confusion there. Otherwise Margaret was very responsive and helpful in the situation. Overall great stay and great trip!
