Catherine est une hote très accueillante et vraiment gentille. Le logement proposé correspond aux photos avec une propreté irreprochable, une terrasse tres agréable. La maison est bien équipée et les 2 salles de bain bien appréciables quand on se retrouve a 8...merci

Catherine est une hôte charmante. Nous sommes arrivées un peu tard en soirée, malgré tout, son accueil était des plus agréables. Le lieu est au calme, dans la nature. Les chambres sont agréables. On est à la campagne. Un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter du calme des environs.

La situation du chalet à coté de la forêt avec vue sur l'étang était magique. Nous avons pu nous promener autour et échanger avec des pêcheurs, notre whippet était très heureux. Dans le chalet, tout le confort était là. Nous avons passer une nuit au grand air!!!

Super logement, rien à redire. Je recommande.

Nous avons eu un accueil souriant. La maison correspond au descriptif et toute la famille a bien profité de tous ces instants ensemble pendant ce chaud weekend de l'ascension .

Lovely place to stay, and pool very good. Small disadvantage that you can’t sit out in the sun in the evenings as outside space is on the other side of the building to the pool, but Paula a great host and very flexible/responsive to questions etc. Lots to do in the area. Would stay again.

The house is very nice and spacious, the location is also very convenient with a local supermarket within walking distance. Beautiful scenery around. The host was always reachable online to answer our questions. We had a very pleasant stay there and would recommend this place for families.

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entres amis. Le logement est spacieux et l'extérieur est très agréable et paisible. Nous gardons l'adresse pour un prochain séjour entre amis, en famille!

We had an wonderful time. The house was great and the garden is huge with an orchard in the next field which we could access. It is an absolutely beautiful place. We were made to feel very at home by Laetitia, Thierry and family (they were in the main house for some days of our stay and the rest of the time we were alone on the vast property). They were extremely generous about letting us use games and canoes etc and could not have been more welcoming to us. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful. The river is nearby and there are lots of possible areas for swimming as well as walking. We really enjoyed visits to Angouleme and Cognac and other pretty villages. Most of all we enjoyed sitting in the garden reading and relaxing and going running in small largely deserted roads around the house. It was a really lovely holiday and I would definitely recommend this highly and fully hope to go back again.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room both inside and outside, making it very comfortable. Located in the countryside, it was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and pleasant stay!
