Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Channel Islands

We had the most wonderful stay at the Little Barn! The surroundings are beyond beautiful and the location is very peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed lots of time soaking up the countryside in the lovely outdoor area (lots of visits from the little cats saying hello too!). The inside was small but extremely well thought out so never felt cramped and there was plenty of space for the two of us. It was well located for everything we needed from trips to the coast, exploring the national park and visiting the quaint little towns and villages nearby. Overall we had a brilliant stay, thank you Fran, the Little Barn is an absolute gem!

Joe's house was perfect for our stay. Great outdoor seating and a large lounge and great kitchen, what more could you ask for. Joe responded very quickly to our questions and was extremely helpful at check-in. You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay here. We did rent a car so this location gave excellent access to the rest of the island. As we didn't use the local bus service I can't comment on its convenience however the bus stop is only a short distance away at Don's Bridge.

Great base to explore Guernsey from. Peaceful spot. Easy check in and Jeremy very prompt with replies. Lovely to arrive to some thoughtful essentials as well. Thanks for a great stay.

We (2 people & our Labrador) really enjoyed our short stay at The Annex. It is well equipped and in a great position for either walking or short drives to locations like Bigbury- on-Sea or Salcombe. Susie and John were both very friendly (as was Meg their resident dog!) and helpful. We would happily come back for another break - thanks!

Very nice house, everything is nearby, the area is quiet, nice hikes to do without a car, we did not see the hosts but perfect communication

Great location facing the sea, very nice outside with boule court, terrace and barbecue. Nothing is missing in the house, beautiful decoration, special mention for the kitchen open to a fantastic view and tip top amenities. O unpleasant surprise.

We had a lovely few days at Oakvale. The cottage was very comfortable and beautifully finished. We loved having the chickens outside (and their gorgeous eggs!) as well as the pigs, cats and dogs, with Jersey cows in the next field. We really liked the location in the Jersey countryside and with a car everywhere was so accessible. Melissa and Adam were so friendly and welcoming. We had mixed weather so couldn't use the pool but we made the most of everything else! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

Claire is a lovely Host, she answered promptly, on the app and in person. The appartment was spacious and very well appointed. Comfy bed and sofa. Good range of equipment in the kitchen, and the shower is the best away from home shower we have experienced! The view from our windows was stunning, over looking fields, trees, hedgerows and wildlife including a Hen Harrier! We guess the sea, is 1/2 mile away (as the crow flys) We had about 140 degrees of Sea views and could see Corbierre Lighthouse as shown in the photo. Yes the airport approach is close BUT they did't start till after we had woken up naturally at 7am, and stopped just before 8pm. We enjoyed watching the different planes arrive! The planes did not detract from our enjoymentof the appartment or surrounds! We are planning to return, perhaps in September, we enjoyed ourselves so much in this lovely home, and Claire and her lovely dogs - they are gorgeous and very friendly - just make this a must visit holiday, loved it!

We had a wonderful time at Little Trevio. The apartment itself is very clean and bright, stylishly decorated and perfect for two people. The parking space is right outside the apartment. The outside spaces - made up of two terraces with spectacular views of the quay - were fantastic (we did not get to use the sun loungers or the barbecue because it was a bit wet during our visit). The location is close to the centre of town, on a hill overlooking Brixham Quay. Emily is a great host - instructions and communications were excellent. We got a complimentary cream tea on arrival! We would highly recommend this property and will definitely look to reserve again next time we are in the area.

A peaceful retreat in the countryside and a 10-minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach! The accommodation is clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Dog accepted in the accommodation and on the beach.

What a beautiful little place and a fabulous location to stopover for a couple of nights. We absolutely loved Josie’s style at The Apiary and it was perfectly clean and comfortable for us and our little dog. Wandering through the grounds of Southcombe House and its pretty wildflower meadows was just delightful. An idyllic spot in wonderful location.

Pleasant stay at Jacques', we thank him for the flexible time of our arrival and the kind attention (homemade jam). Well-kept, clean apartment, the photos are consistent with the accommodation. Very good communication with Jacques and his wife. Well-located apartment for visiting this beautiful area.

Stephane is a caring, helpful and proactive host. The cottage is about 3 blocks from Arromanches center that has great shops and restaurants and the ocean is right there and d-day history in front of you. The cottage is an oasis of tranquility and privacy.

Very nice apartment, comfortable and well located. Public parking just in front of the apartment. No parking problems during this period. Ideal for visiting the beaches and landing sites because it is in the middle of the area. It takes about an hour to go to Ste Mère Eglise and the same to reach Deauville. Between the two, there are a lot of possible visits. Emmanuel is very friendly, welcoming and flexible for arrival and departure times according to his rental possibilities. We met a lot of really nice people wherever we went, bravo the Normans! The various museums and sites visited are varied and exciting, even very moving... A week of happiness!

We had a lovely stay in Kerveneur, despite the not very favorable weather. The cabin is very functional and pleasant, the environment relaxing and very pretty, I recommend it for a quiet holiday!

We had a great evening. A real moment of relaxation in a quiet and rejuvenating place. Very pleasant setting, everything is tastefully decorated. We really appreciated the attention of Quentin and Anais who had prepared the spa for our arrival. We also had a lot of fun with darts and knife throwing ;)

Absolutely amazing place so private and such a relaxing location. Both Jamie and Phil were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome. Would 100% recommend and come back

We had a magnificent stay. Klaus made us feel right at home, we enjoyed some drinks together as he explained the hiking routes, places to eat, etc. We loved the the summer house we stayed in, it was well-equipped and comfy, leaving nothing to the imagination. And self-built, really cool. We enjoyed fresh eggs every day and whenever we needed some help, he was always at hand. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it made our already fun trip even better :-)

From the very first moment on we felt truly welcomed! The cabin is absolutely fabulous! There is everything you need and even more! The interior is perfectly designed to make most out of the space! The privat sauna is just the cherry on top! The surrounding is so silent, you will only hear birds and seagulls. Pavla was the perfect host, providing us with additional information and recommendations and we really enjoyed our little welcome basket! We will be back :)

Great getaway here! Easy to book, new amenities, smart new decor, great shower, fully functioning oven, job and microwave. Good directions to get to the place and easy self check in. (Just note there is no wifi and bring a spare toilet roll as we used our 1 roll up pretty quickly).

Wow what an amazing find! This place is fabulous. Very clean, absolutely loads of essentials. They have thought of everything. Would highly recommend this place to stay. The outside space is perfect, hot tub was great and the other side of the cabin has a beautiful bbq area. The Sauna was great and nice addition. We loved the golf. Can’t wait to return!

Fantastic little spot in a beautiful valley. Very warm greeting from Tim when we arrived giving us some insight about the local access for walking. Great spot to escape - very quiet and calm location with very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Definitely be revisiting !
