Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

Beautiful accommodation where we spent a great weekend with friends. The space outside is very pleasant and peaceful. The interior of the house is spacious and very well equipped. We will not hesitate to come back during a future stay in the region!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Sylvie was a great host. The house was lovely. The outdoor area, swimming pool and beautiful garden was perfect for outdoor living. Close proximity to Cognac ensured that all services were only a short drive away.

Very nice and generously sized apartment that offers a "free" feeling of space. Although Meursac may be a bit inland, it is in an extremely favorable geographical situation to be able to visit numerous pretty villages and sights within a 30-minute drive. The apartment is tastefully designed and conveys a pleasantly free living feeling through its open mezzanine construction. Christelle is extremely friendly and you feel welcome with her immediately. What more could you ask for?!

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

André is a great host! He answers very quickly, he cares that you are well and comfortable and he is very, very kind. The accommodation is very clean, very bright, it is as in the photos and is very close to the station on foot. It's super quiet and very pretty!

It's a pure pleasure to stay with Emmanuelle who is very friendly. The place is quiet, suitable for both adults and children. Everything is thought out for a great stay (spa, outdoor games, library, board games, terraces); location at the top!

Séverine has created a lovely gîte with great character, style and comfort. We stayed for two weeks and had everything we needed to feel at home. The gîte has a private back garden with table and chairs and a large area of parkland in front. It's in a peaceful location in the countryside but St Savinien is only a 10 min walk away and is one of the prettiest towns in the region. Lovely area for walking and cycling . Séverine and her husband Jean-Marc were great hosts.

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

Very welcoming hosts. The performances were beyond our expectations, very nice surprise! Rental with a large area and a very well-equipped kitchen. There was plenty for the kids, both indoors and outdoors. We recommend without a second thought, especially for families. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Very nice accommodation, very clean with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The bedding is comfortable. The environment is peaceful, we would have stayed a few more nights!

We will keep this address for future holidays: Christelle is very welcoming and very pleasant. Although she lives next to the house, she is not intrusive at all and gave us very good advice for visits and activities in the area. She was very flexible for our arrival and departure. Regarding the house, the photos and description speak for themselves. Everything is as advertised. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We spent a stay there with friends with babies and children with all the necessary comforts Finally: the pool with heated water is a real asset!

Jenifer's accommodation has been renovated with great taste. The amenities are also as qualitative and numerous as a main house: hair dryer, washing machine, oven, kettle, in short, everything is there. you can access the beach in 2 minutes by bike, 5 minutes on foot, happiness.

We had a very pleasant stay at PEGGY'S, we enjoyed the "cocooning" of the seating area that overlooks the beautifully landscaped inner courtyard and protected from everyone's eyes. Unfortunately time didn't help us and we weren't able to enjoy it as we would have liked… The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and absolute calm is guaranteed.

We loved staying here. The property is a ten minute drive from Saintes and all that is has to offer. We had a day at La Rochelle, a day at the beach in Royan and a lazy day or two in the beautiful garden. We would really love to come and stay here again!

The accommodation is very nice, well arranged and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is available, with real attention to detail. The terrace, with its table and sun loungers, is also a real plus! The only small downside: the tenants downstairs are quite noisy.
