We highly recommend Matteo's accommodation. It is a charming little cottage with character, quiet and with a magnificent view of the mountains. The location is ideal, there are quite a few hikes in the area and it is close to the castle of Fenis, the fort of Bard, 30 minutes from Aosta and so on. There is something for everyone! Matteo is very friendly, responsive by message and does not hesitate to give advice to make the stay go as well as possible. (not to mention the small attentions upon our arrival🥰) If the opportunity arises, we will be happy to return to his home, to visit the other castles in the valley🙃.

A very great place to stay to unwind. A fenced garden is great if you want to go on vacation with your dog. Next door lives a farmer who is also very nice and sometimes gives away fresh eggs or cheese. The place was very clean and everything was available as described. The way up to the property should not be underestimated, as it is sometimes steep uphill. There are plenty of shopping opportunities, but they can only be reached by car if you need to go faster, as it takes up to 25 minutes to drive to a large supermarket. No negative point, you just have to plan for it. All in all a very nice stay if you want to have your peace and quiet and like to be very secluded from many others. Gabriele's house is such a gem. A peaceful place with a 'feeling-right-at-home' atmosphere. Spacious, with everything that one needs, and even more, especially in the kitchen. The living and the bed room are very spacious with good air circulation. The surrounding is very quiet and peaceful. For me Gabriele's place was the perfect home base to discover the different hiking areas in the area. All within a short reach by car. The village has an awesome small pizzeria just a short walk away, and more options for dining out within a short distance by car. Gabriele was always available for any question and I felt very well taken care of. Upon arrival I was greeted by Franca, who is such a lovely, warm lady. She showed me everything and was too always available to answer any question. Gabriele and Franca are both amazing humans who will make you feel very welcome. Franca's dog has a special place in my heart too :)

Bruno's house in the mountains is a perfect retreat. Very quiet and very beautiful. A perfect location for taking a hike and also close to other towns and restaurants. Any requests were responded to immediately. I would gladly return.

We were very kindly received and well informed by Lorenza! The house is equipped with all comforts, everything is present and everything was super clean. The garden is beautifully large and enclosed with a fence so that the dog can also walk around freely. On the terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful view and the quiet surroundings. The communication with Alberto was also super, always responded quickly and kindly. Alberto and Lorenza thank you for your hospitality, the chance that we will come again is great! David’s place was amazing and had a great view of the Matterhorn when it was not covered in clouds. The Airbnb was comfortable and in a great location.

Giulia welcomed us warmly, giving us all the necessary information and a lot of useful advice for exploring the surroundings. The house is cozy, spacious, well-equipped and with breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The location is excellent, a starting point for many hikes and a few minutes' drive from the center of Gressoney. Excellent experience, highly recommended

I had a very pleasant stay in this studio. All basic amenities are provided. I loved the simplicity and cleanliness of the accommodation and I immediately felt at home. Cozy, quiet neighborhood, not far from the center and with private parking. Ideal place to explore the Gran Paradiso Park as a solo traveler! I was warmly welcomed by Mireille and she took the time to give detailed and practical explanations about the region and the village. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Elvira & Aidan's place for a few days. It was so amazing when you could see the mountain while eating breakfast & supper. The surrounding area just looked amazing. Elvira & Aidan also prepared face cloths for us to use, which is not common in Europe. There are also cooking oil and some spices for us to use. The place is big and clean. The bathroom is on the small side. They also prepared a binder what time the grocery stores are open and closed; the restaurant; how often the trains to Zermatt leave. This is very handy. The place is about 15 minutes on foot from the train station. There are 2 grocery stores near the train station. Be aware though. Because the place is higher on the hill, it can be a challenge to drag your suitcase uphill. You may want to take a taxi. But we were happy to stay there, not just any regular airbnb in town. Elvira & Aidan was flexible with check on time. Thank you Elvira & Aidan.

Our stay was wonderful. We were so lucky to see the Matterhorn many times from Zermatt. Everything was as described and clean. The instructions made it easy to find. I saw another review about steep stairs but we didn’t really think they were that bad and we were able to walk from the train station with luggage. Thank you!

Our stay at Sara’s place in Zermatt was excellent! We especially appreciated the modern touches, such as the brand-new kitchen and the automatic blackout blinds—which were perfect, given that the sun doesn’t set until 9–10 p.m. in the summer. The lighting was bright, and the space was quiet and comfortably sized for two. Bed was comfy and there were extra pillows and blankets. We also made great use of the provided fondue pot. A few things to note: getting around Zermatt can be challenging, as it’s a car-free area. You’ll either need to walk uphill or rely on cabs or the local bus—something to keep in mind if you're traveling with checked luggage. Overall it was a great place to stay. Would recommend Sara’s place :)

Perfect location when you are looking to go hiking in the region. High mountains like the Mont Blanc, Matterhorn and Monte Rosa are reachable within 1 hour. Renato is a perfect host and takes care of all your needs. The apartment was clean and had everything that I needed (kitchen, goo internet and a washing machine).

Had a fantastic stay with my two daugthers of 4 and 6 , from day one they like all the stairs in the house. Loved the outdoor space Good accesible and relative fast connection towards the slops of Montarosa ski, some turns, my kids only got once a bit sick on them... on 6 days so that was fine. In the town you definitly should go to the pizzeria, one of my bests ever and so friendly!

Tina’s apartment is hands down one of the most comfortable places we’ve ever stayed. The space is modern, impeccably organized, and everything is easy to manage—making our stay effortless and relaxing. The location is fantastic, just a ten-minute walk from both the train station and the village, which made exploring a breeze. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality from Tina and her helper Zenep—they made us feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and our experience was simply wonderful. Very well located accommodation in a charming village close to beautiful walks We were with a baby and a dog, the hosts welcomed us very well so that we didn't miss anything. Everything is there to make you feel at home! We would recommend this listing!

Betty is an excellent hostess: kind and helpful, she offers a clean and well-kept apartment, very close to the Castle of Issogne. The plus is the terrace equipped with a trampoline and other games: perfect for those traveling with a child.

We had a wonderful stay at Beni & Romy. The apartment is idyllically located in the mountains and not far from the train station to Zermatt. It is clean, spacious and superbly equipped. Romy and Beni are great and very warm hosts. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.
