Centrally located within all the great things to see in the region, this home is one of the more spectacular I have ever had he chance to use via airbnb. The chateau and its property are beautiful and the hosts are helpful, very friendly and welcoming. Inside is well presented and will provide you with a cosy and warm environment. The smaller room for the kids was LOVED by our two and they even have a cupboard with toys and games for a rainy day in. Highly recommend!

Très bon séjour pour une fête de famille. Il y a assez de salle de bains pour tout le monde, la cuisine est agréable. Le jardin et le trampoline ont été apprécié par les petits et les plus grands aussi.

Not many travelers get to say that they’ve stayed in a chateau like Jacques’ in Thenissey. I live in Dijon and used to work in the area so when I found this accommodation to surprise my mom & brother during their visit, we were all overwhelmed with the simple beauty of this chateau and the countryside around it. Jacques is very kind and welcoming. If we needed anything, he was just a phone call away. He offered to show us around his chateau and we regret not finding the time to do so in our plans. The accommodation is modern and up to date with everything you need, including in the kitchen and two bathrooms. A train does by pass by but you will need a car to explore the region. And come already equipped with groceries and a full tank of gas because the closest supermarket is about 15-20min away! We absolutely loved the moats, “feeding” the fish, the staircase into the basement, and even the chateau-smell that makes this experience absolutely worth it during your visit to Burgundy.

Mary e Remy sono stati attenti alle nostre esigenze e ci hanno fornito ottimi consigli per cenare e visitare Auxerre che si raggiunge in auto in meno di 10 minuti. ci siamo fermati da loro come tappa di mezzo prima di raggiungere la Bretagna e la prossima volta che ci torneremo sicuramente ci fermeremo di nuovo da loro. un carissimo saluto

Wir waren 6 Tage als Familie in dieser ungewöhnlichen Location. Der Ort an sich hat schon einen Wow-Effekt, ist sehr privat gelegen und während unseres Urlaubs erschienen mir die anderen Gäste rundrum eher "unsichtbar". Den Pool konnten wir ungestört nutzen und auch sonst ist das Gelände weitläufig. Die Wohnung insgesamt hat uns gut gefallen. Die Ausstattung der Küche war gut, so dass uns nichts gefehlt hat. Insgesamt fanden wir das Mobiliar teilweise unnötig und einige Räume waren einfach zu überladen, die großen Schränke klauen den kleinen Räumen viel Platz, leider waren sie aber mit Wäsche voll, so dass wir unsere Koffer nicht richtig auspacken konnten. Für warmes Wasser benötigt man in den oberen Etagen etwas Geduld, aber darüber muss man sich in historischen Gebäuden bewusst sein. Marie war vor, während und nach unserer Reise stets erreichbar. Auch wenn wir uns nicht persönlich begegnet sind, verlief unser Aufenthalt sehr harmonisch.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Rosita! Het is een bijzondere plek met een bijzondere geschiedenis. Ideaal om tot rust te komen. De site is heel mooi gerestaureerd  de gastenkamers hebben alle comfort en zijn toch authentiek gebleven. Je moet er naartoe om het te ervaren! Rosita is een goede gastvrouw  heel attent en heel flexibel. Een aanrader! Merci Rosita!

Un magnifique lieu, une grange très bien rénovée et agréable, un accueil agréable. Les chambres ferment à clé. Sur le domaine, un enclos avec une basse-cour, un âne, un cheval, des paons ; un beau terrain, une balançoire, de quoi bien occuper les enfants. Nous avons passé un superbe week-end en famille, une jolie parenthèse.

Het kasteel was geweldig, we verbleven in de Sequoia suite. Deze was groot, prachtige inrichting, alles aanwezig wat we ons konden wensen. Plus een torenkamer! En het bed was minimaal 2,5 meter breed, fantastisch! Het kasteel staat vol met de leukste snuisterijen, er zijn zoveel originele details te ontdekken. Elke dag kregen we van Brigitte een routekaart met tips in de regio om onze eigen plannen aan te vullen. Echt heel erg handig, we hebben zoveel mooie plekken bezocht. Wanneer we terug kwamen nog even een spelletje doen in 1 van de prachtige ruimtes van het kasteel. Gevolgd door een heerlijk 3 gangen diner van Brigitte. We hebben zelfs 2 recepten mee gekregen, zo lekker was het! We hebben genoten van het kasteel, de omgeving en de enorme gastvrijheid van Brigitte. We komen graag nog eens terug! Brigitte bedankt voor alles!

Beautiful property, it almosy felt like being inside a movie :) peaceful and spacious. Beds were 10/10. We especially enjoyed the fire place outside as well as the living room decor!

Prachtig recent verbouwde (2021) gites die aan alle gemakken voldoet! Twee airco's, twee toiletten, grote koelkast, vriezer, oven, magnetron, elektrische kookplaat, wafelijzer, koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker en zelfs nog meer.. Prima bed en fijne badkamer. Gilles was erg vriendelijk. De gites ligt aan een doodlopend straatje. Het zwembad is naast de kerk (2 minuten lopen). Heerlijk zwembad, schoon, delen met andere gasten - maar dat was geen probleem voor ons. Bij het zwembad is ook een toilet en omkleedruimte. Ook ruime tuin met loungeset. Auto parkeer je bij de tuin, achter gesloten deuren. Zo staat de auto gratis en veilig. Dat is prettig. De Loire is een prachtige rivier. Dorpje is rustig en de omgeving is mooi. Restaurant M vonden wij een aanrader!

We stayed two nights with our adult children and friends. Plenty of room for all, enjoyed the pool and outdoors. Had lovely meals together in the large kitchen! Wonderful time.

Très beau château du 17ème siècle patiné par le temps. Un lieu enchanteur. Véritable âvre de paix au milieu d'un parc de plusieurs hectares et pourtant à 7 mns des commerces et de la gare de Cosne-cours-sur-Loire. Nous étions une famille de 19 personnes + un chien et tout le monde a été ravi du séjour. Calme et repos .Les chambres décorées avec goût, un mobilier d'époque et une literie très confortable. Sophie est une hôte très sympathique , pleine de bons conseils pour des idées d'activités et arrangeante pour les heures d'arrivée et de départ. Un grand merci pour son accueil. On a passé 3 jours merveilleux . On a profité du beau temps pour manger dehors au milieu des chants d'oiseaux. Je recommande cette adresse .

Merci beaucoup pour ce magnifique logement, il est bien situé dans un hameau calme, il est très bien aménagé et très joli. La douche est vraiment impressionnante. Séjour agréable chez Thomas-Jérôme. Le logement est d'un confort suffisant pour une personne seule qui aspire à quelques jours de "mise au vert". Pour les amateurs de randonnées, l'implantation est à équidistance de la forêt de Mormal, du Val Joly et de la forêt de Fourmies, ce qui est très pratique. Toutes sont situées à environ 20 minutes du site en voiture (un véhicule est indispensable pour s'y rendre). En outre, le logement est à proximité d'une supérette bon marché et du centre ville (à quelques minutes à pieds) dont les vieux immeubles ne manquent pas de caractère.

We had such a lovely long weekend strolling the grounds and observing the peacock flock. The house itself was well-appointed and made us feel right at home. We met Mr Charles, the landlord, who was gracious enough to share some of the history of the chateau and that of the generations that inhabited it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, as well as recommend it to friends. Truly a special place. There is also a larger apartment available if you are traveling with more guests. Thank you again, Mr. Charles!

Maartje a été une personne réactive et disponible (très disponible) pour les personnes ayant séjourné dans ce bien atypique qui ont toutes décidé de revenir l'an prochain. Je recommande cette location.
