Centrally located within all the great things to see in the region, this home is one of the more spectacular I have ever had he chance to use via airbnb. The chateau and its property are beautiful and the hosts are helpful, very friendly and welcoming. Inside is well presented and will provide you with a cosy and warm environment. The smaller room for the kids was LOVED by our two and they even have a cupboard with toys and games for a rainy day in. Highly recommend!

Great stay for a family party. There is enough bathroom for everyone, the kitchen is nice. The garden and trampoline were enjoyed by young and old too.

Not many travelers get to say that they’ve stayed in a chateau like Jacques’ in Thenissey. I live in Dijon and used to work in the area so when I found this accommodation to surprise my mom & brother during their visit, we were all overwhelmed with the simple beauty of this chateau and the countryside around it. Jacques is very kind and welcoming. If we needed anything, he was just a phone call away. He offered to show us around his chateau and we regret not finding the time to do so in our plans. The accommodation is modern and up to date with everything you need, including in the kitchen and two bathrooms. A train does by pass by but you will need a car to explore the region. And come already equipped with groceries and a full tank of gas because the closest supermarket is about 15-20min away! We absolutely loved the moats, “feeding” the fish, the staircase into the basement, and even the chateau-smell that makes this experience absolutely worth it during your visit to Burgundy.

Marie-Luce and Rémy were very kind and welcoming and involved us in their daily activities. And the breakfasts - wow - they deserve a Michelin star. The best hosts ever.

REJUVENATING VISIT! I found the lovely tower to be very well-equipped with good energy inside. The house is very charming with beautiful pieces and I appreciated That there was everything I needed in the house. the house very clean and apparently the owner had just re-done the first floor and had it all repainted. We loved the steam unit! The unit was working so well, it was very hot and perfect for chilly winter stay with hot chocolate and a movie. I had easy communication with the owner who even left a bottle of champagne and homemade cookies on the table as a welcome gift. The grounds of the place and the overall set up is very fairytale like. It’s like a walk back in time with modern comforts. We practically had the entire château estate to ourselves. It was very quiet with gorgeous winter brisk country air outside - Wonderful find. Will return !!

We loved our stay at Rosita's place! It's a special place with a special history. Ideal to relax and unwind. The site has been very nicely restored, the guest rooms have all the comfort and have remained authentic. You need to go there to experience it! Rosita is a good hostess  very attentive and very flexible. Recommend! Merci Rosita!

A beautiful place, a very well renovated and pleasant barn, a pleasant welcome. The bedrooms lock up. On the estate, a pen with a courtyard, a donkey, a horse, peacocks; a beautiful lot, a swing, enough to occupy the children. We had a wonderful weekend with the family, a nice break.

The castle was amazing, we stayed in the Sequoia suite. This was large, beautiful decor, everything we could wish for. Plus a tower room! And the bed was at least 2.5 meters wide, fantastic! The castle is full of the nicest trinkets, there are so many original details to discover. Every day, Brigitte gave us a route map with tips in the region to supplement our own plans. Really very convenient, we have visited so many beautiful places. When we came back, play a game in one of the beautiful spaces of the castle. Followed by a delicious 3-course dinner from Brigitte. We even got 2 recipes, it was so delicious! We enjoyed the castle, the surroundings and the enormous hospitality of Brigitte. We would love to come back again! Brigitte thanks for everything!

Beautiful property, it almosy felt like being inside a movie :) peaceful and spacious. Beds were 10/10. We especially enjoyed the fire place outside as well as the living room decor!

Beautifully recently renovated (2021) gites that meets all the comforts! Two airconditioners, two toilets, large fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, electric hob, waffle iron, coffee maker, kettle and even more.. Great bed and nice bathroom. Gilles was really friendly. The gites is located on a dead end street. The pool is next to the church (2min walk). Lovely pool, clean, share with other guests - but that wasn't a problem for us. There is also a toilet and changing room by the pool. Also spacious garden with lounge set. Car you park by the garden, behind closed doors. For example, the car is free and safe. That's nice. The Loire is a beautiful river. Village is quiet and the area is beautiful. Restaurant M was recommended!

We stayed two nights with our adult children and friends. Plenty of room for all, enjoyed the pool and outdoors. Had lovely meals together in the large kitchen! Wonderful time.

Beautiful 17th century castle weathered by time. An enchanting place. A real haven of peace in the middle of a park of several hectares and yet 7 minutes from shops and the train station of Cosne-cours-sur-Loire. We were a family of 19 + a dog and everyone was delighted with the stay. Peace and rest. Tastefully decorated rooms, period furniture, and very comfortable bedding. Sophie is a very friendly host, full of good tips for activity ideas and accommodating for check-in and check-out times. Thank you so much for hosting us. We had a wonderful 3 days. We took advantage of the nice weather to eat out among the birdsong. I recommend this property .

Pleasant stay at Thomas-Jérôme's. The accommodation is of sufficient comfort for a single person who aspires a few days of "green". For hiking enthusiasts, the location is equidistant from the Mormal Forest, Val Joly and Fourmies Forest, which is very convenient. All are located about 20 minutes from the site by car (a vehicle is essential to get there). In addition, the accommodation is close to a cheap convenience store and the city center (a few minutes' walk away) whose old buildings are full of character.

We had such a lovely long weekend strolling the grounds and observing the peacock flock. The house itself was well-appointed and made us feel right at home. We met Mr Charles, the landlord, who was gracious enough to share some of the history of the chateau and that of the generations that inhabited it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, as well as recommend it to friends. Truly a special place. There is also a larger apartment available if you are traveling with more guests.
