Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chambray-lès-Tours

Fantastic week stay at Julian and Jude’s cottage. Communication was excellent. We received a lovely warm welcome and that continued throughout the stay with suggestions and recommendations of places to visit and see. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities, the hot tub and pool were absolutely excellent in a superb location. Thank you ever so much Julian and Jude, all the best for a relaxing retirement! X

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dieser außergewöhnlichen Unterkunft! Das Baumhaus ist luxuriös ausgestattet mit WC und Dusche und es ist wunderbar ruhig. Auch die Ungebung ist sehr lohnenswert und Selma gibt gute Tipps (zB Restaurants). Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen :-)

Le logement était impeccable à notre arrivé avec des petits plus comme du nécessaire de toilette ( brosse à dents ,gel douche , shampooing...) Le lieu est calme et paisible et les hôtes discrets . Si vous cherchez la détente avec de belles visites de château de la Loire ,je vous le recommande.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement de Christophe. Tout était parfait : l’accueil, la propreté, la localisation pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire et les équipements (notamment ceux pour notre bébé comme si nous étions à la maison et le jacuzzi qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer) ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Nous avons adoré passer ces quelques jours chez Nicolas et sa femme. Outre le fait que la roulotte. est un nid douillet tellement confortable, nos hôtes ont été très accueillants. Toujours très bienveillants, Ils nous ont bien conseillé et bien accueilli dans leur paisible jardin. Plein de petites attentions, rien ne manquait. Et cerise sur le gâteau, le jour de Pâques on s’est réveillé et Nicolas avait caché des œufs dans le jardin à la grande joie de mes enfants. Je recommande vivement et j’espère revenir un jour.

Gîte très bien équipé, dans une ancienne dépendance rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. L’hôtesse assure un accueil parfait, elle regorge de bons conseils pour visiter la région. A recommander sans hésitation.

We had a great stay at this beautiful house in the region of Athee sur Cher. The house is comfortable and modern and al facilities are there. The jacuzzi was a great extra! The host Alexandre and his family put a lot of effort in making the house neat and comfortable and providing us with information about the stay and advice for trips. The house is located at a beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and a great view. A lot of activities are nearby such as great castles of the Loire valley, great cities as Amboise and Blois and fun activities to do with children in nature or activity parks. The house is great to stay with a family with children. We felt really welcome, there is a lot of space and facilities in the house. If you want a relaxing stay but also enjoy the Loire valley,I would really recommend this house!

Für alle die eine besonderes liebevolle eingerichtete "Höhlenunterkunft" in der Natur suchen bei der es beim Aufenthalt an nichts fehlt eine klare Empfehlung! Wir waren 3 Tage dort und haben von dort aus viele Aktivitäten (Schlösserbesichtigungen, Kanufahrten, Weinverkostungen,...) unternommen und die Kinder waren vom Wohnen in einer Grotte sehr begeistert. Vielen Dank an Carole & David das wir Ihr "Nest" nutzen durften.

Chantal’s place was beautiful. Lovely furnishings and decor. The view was unbelievable and both rooms were equally comfortable. The sound of the Loire going under the bridge lulled you to sleep. The quality of the bedding was top notch! We enjoyed meeting Chantal and loved her energy. Highly recommend!

Beautifully renovated quirky old house in Amboise. Central but quiet, minutes on foot from everything you want to see in Amboise. Clean and furnished well enough. The host was amazing, clear instruction, pro-active, and super helpful! We forgot something expensive in the house when we left and they agreed to post them back to us! Thank you so much Alexandra! Not a house for you unfortunately if you have mobility issues, the bedrooms are either downstairs or upstairs. Stairs are a bit steep (lovely old house quirk🤷‍♀️). We couldn’t find washing machine soap, but I had brought washing machine pods (in case you are planning a long stay). There is a drier as well, which you will find takes a long time to dry, but is a luxury in Europe. There is also a drying rack if you prefer. We had an absolutely lovely stay! Thanks again Alex!

Logement propre et bien aménagé. Pour un week-end en famille proche du château de Chenonceau et du zoo de Beauval, et un petit plan d’eau avec des jeux juste à deux pas du logement apprécié par nos enfants.

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Superbe accueil par notre hôte dans le logement, super bien située! Quel plaisir de trouver quelques parts de gâteau délicieux, fait maison après notre périple à vélo! Roselyne est adorable, très réactive et très aidante suite à un oubli de notre part. Ce serait un véritable plaisir d’y retourner!

L'appartement est très bien situé, bel espace, les lits sont très confortables. tout était parfait. Merci pour l'accueil Delphine !

Such an amazingly charming and well decorated restored French country farmhouse located in a beautiful setting. Kudos to Eliane for her incredibly warm reception, tasty sparkling wine, the best freshly made crepes we had ever eaten and delicious goat cheese to welcome us. She also suggested a fantastic local restaurant and even helped us with the reservation. Her suggestion for a local winery was also gratrly appreciated, the experience with the owner was outstanding. We highly recommend staying there and would definitely return in the future. Absolutely the best! In fact, her gorgeous home, attention to detail, generous assistance and otherwise respect for our privacy exemplify the gold standard of how all Air B and Bs should aspire to emulate perfection.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Severine et Stephane. Le cadre est magnifique. Le logement est parfaitement équipé. La literie est de bonne qualité. Il ne manque rien. On se croirait à la maison. Nos hôtes ont été très sympathiques et merci encore à Severine pour sa gentille attention à notre arrivée. La détente est totale et les jeux en extérieur sont un plus. Idéal si vous avez un chien avec le grand jardin totalement clôturé. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Patrick is a gracious host who greets you up on arrival in order to show you the amenities and how everything works. The property itself is lovely and the living spaces are all very clean, roomy and well decorated. Kitchen is well supplied with everything needed for cooking. The swimming pool, which we used in mid-May was special treat, warm and has a lovely view of chapel and town in the distance. There is but one thing which does not come across in the description of this space, which is that only one bedroom adjoins the living/dining/kitchen space. The 2nd bedroom is accessed via the 1st bedroom... or through the outside walkway, which in our case worked just fine with the lovely weather we had. May not be an issue if you are with your children, but with my in-laws this would have been very inconvenient if the weather was bad. So, other than that I can highly recommend Patricks place for a wonderfully cozy stay in beautiful French countryside close to numerous chateau.

Excellent séjour dans ce havre de paix et de nature au milieu des châteaux de la Loire ! Ancienne bergerie rénovée avec goût, chaleureuse et spacieuse donnant sur une terrasse avec vue sur le pré des chevaux !!! Evelyne Et Pierre sont des hôtes très accueillants amoureux de la nature et des animaux , possédant un domaine familial magnifique et plein de vie!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Estelle. Alles war sehr unkompliziert und der Poolbereich ist wirklich genial. Wir hatten die Fahrräder dabei und konnten von da aus schöne Touren an der Loire und dem Cher machen.

Un court séjour très agréable. Sandra et sa Famille sont très sympathique et le fait d’être dans leur jardin n’est à aucun moment dérangeant tant nous nous sommes sentis bien accueilli. Le logement est bien situé et permet d’aller dans le centre de tours facilement. Nous recommandons.
