House holiday rentals in Chalmette

My family stayed here for a weekend-long celebration of my birthday, and it was perfect for 10 adults - large well-provisioned kitchen, ample bathrooms, and large comfortable bedrooms. It's worth noting though that 3 of the bedrooms are attached railroad style, which was fine for us. The pool area was also beautiful and chill to relax after a few long days of being out and about. Highly recommend a stay here!

Maison Rampart was a true dream! We’ll never stay anywhere else when we’re in NOLA. The house is meticulously decorated and very well stocked. The pool and backyard were amazing. We would have been perfectly happy staying at the house and floating in the pool all weekend, if it weren’t for all of the food and sights to see in the city. Beds were super comfortable as well. Perfect location for exploring Bywater, Marigny, and the FQ without being right in the thick of the crowds. Can’t recommend enough! Special thanks to Tyler, the house manager, for treating us so well and making us laugh.

Everything was exactly as described. Alleshia was very responsive to all inquires. We ended up being there during terrific downpours, so we spent cozy hours indoors. The neighborhood is interesting and some of the properties are undergoing a face lift.

absolutely loved Jason's place! It was extremely comfortable, the location was close to the street car which is the best way to get around the city. We felt safe in the neighborhood, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was cozy and comfortable. Jason was responsive and helpful during our stay and the guidebook gave some wonderful recommendations. The ruby slipper is a must! If we ever return to New Orleans I will be booking this place without hesitation.

We had a great stay at Rodney’s place, felt like home. Would recommend to any friend and will be back next time I plan a trip to Nola!

This was our second time staying at one of Thomas' properties, and we had another great stay. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained, and has everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. Thomas was very accommodating with check-in time and our last-minute request for a pack n' play -- a fantastic host! We found the neighborhood very friendly, and enjoyed the proximity to the Lafitte Greenway (access is just a block away -- we didn't even realize this when we rented the place!) and local businesses like Flour Moon and the Broadside. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay! Very clean, beautiful decor, accommodating entertainment inside, pool area private and relaxing, nice sitting porch. Hosts, very responsive and willing to help in any way. They went above and beyond with providing toiletries, linens, enviornmental comforts ect!

BEAUTIFUL house & garden. Loved it - especially the back yard. Great location - 10min walk to Frenchman Street, 30min walk to Bourbon Street. Owner VERY slow in responding prior to booking so we almost cancelled because of it. He was much better, but still slow, at responding during the booking. Not Super-Host level. As for cost, once fees, taxes, cleaning, etc were added on, it was expensive.

Great stay! The host was extremely accommodating, very professional and had great communication! The home was very clean and easy to access.

The house is confortable and clean. The location is away from the busy center but close enough (30 minutes away from French Quarter).

I had a fantastic stay at Donald’s place! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The location was perfect! and the neighborhood felt very safe and quiet.

Great location that felt safe and was not too far from the quarter. The property was clean and well taken care of with only minor repair needed, nothing that would disturb your trip. Larger than expected. Couch super comfy. Fully equipped for all of your needs. I would stay again and highly recommend!

My wife and I and dog Linus had a wonderful time in Gretna. The location is great, easy and cheap access to cross the river to Canal Street to walk or catch a streetcar! We all enjoyed the huge fenced in yard, especially our dog who had free reign from front to back. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at The Gator Den was perfect! The Airbnb was exactly as described. It was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of air conditioning with the hot weather. We had a wonderful time and it was a spot we would book again.

Jeannette’s home was just perfection! We visited for Jazz fest, it was an easy commute to the event but far enough away we were able to relax after long, hot days. Her home was super comfortable and her screened in porch was EVERYTHING!!! Jeannette herself was a perfect host, quick to reply to messages and even let us check in early, which after a 24 drive, was a huge relief! If we visit NOLA again, I won’t hesitate to book here! 🎷🫶🏼💃🏻🙌🏻

We traveled to New Orleans to celebrate our son's graduation and Rachels place on the bayou was perfect! Everything was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed the gorgeous ride in with all the spanish moss covered trees and even saw a few gators. Rachel was very responsive to messages and quickly added a night for us (we just weren't ready to leave). 10/10 recommend.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here while on a southern roadtrip. I overheard her telling her grandma to book a family trip to New Orleans while having Lisa as a host. The property is gorgeously maintained with greenery everywhere. We made friends with the frogs in the backyard which added to the magic! Lisa is genuinely one of the best hosts I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing with Airbnb. She provided us with restaurants, experiences, tours, and so many more opportunities to explore during our stay. Our stuff was safe despite being out in the open truck. She gave us “rich people towels” - my girlfriend. The shampoo/conditioner provided was perfect for her hair. Lisa did not cut any corners when designing this home — it was cool, comfortable, safe, clean, and fun. We felt like we were sleeping on clouds. The AC was perfect in lieu of the heat. Genuinely if we could give this place 10 stars, we would. Thank you, Lisa, for such a memorable experience.

It was worth every penny! It felt like home. It was clean and well kept. The grill was clean and read for use. The backyard was just what my kids needed. The communication was seamless. Entry was easy. We felt safe and the people were nice. It made attending my daughter’s graduation all the better! THANK YOU

We really enjoyed our stay at this AirB&B. It was clean and neat and just as described. The neighborhood was quiet. The patio area was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out there with our morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, including the living room sofa used by one of us. There were plenty towels and bath cloths. Highly recommend this home. Thank you!

My Family, Friends and I took a Girls Trip to New Orleans and we stayed in this BEAUTIFUL HOME while there and EVERYTHING was exactly what other guest described so if you are EVER in New Orleans and looking for somewhere to call HOME for the weekend, definitely book with these WONDERFUL people…

What a nice property, like new! I stayed almost a week for work and enjoyed light cooking in the kitchen, had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, nice sheets and towels, and very clean. The area is great if you have a car, as I did. Off-street parking and not a lot of traffic so nice and quiet. There are trendier neighborhoods but I prefer to drive a few minutes further for a simpler experience. I especially liked the customized entry - I've been locked out of a rental twice before (my fault) and this one was easy to use and oops-proof! Thank you Rhonda!

Mary’s place was very nice. She was very accommodating during our stay and responded quickly when we contacted her. The area was nice and close to restaurants and shopping areas as well as close to the lake.

We loved our time at this home in a great, laid back part of New Orleans. The home is very spacious and clean, we loved spending early evenings in the back yard. The bathroom was nice and well supplied and the shower had great water pressure. We didn’t have time to cook, but if you do the kitchen is large and has a great assortment of spices. The beds are bare bones, not the most comfortable and pretty squeaky, but worked just fine. Overall I liked the area and the house had everything we needed.
