Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Chalikounas

We had a great time in Avgi’s apartment. The unit is very cosy, well equipped, and conveniently located close to the center of Pelekas. The highlight is the deck with a fantastic view towards the Agii Deka mountain. Pelekas is a quiet town with good infrastructure, a really nice bakery close to the apartment, a small supermarket, and a couple of good restaurants. In May, not many tourists were around. We came for hiking and explored all parts of Corfu. For this, Pelekas is a good base station with even the most Northern and Southern areas of Corfu not more than a one hour drive away. The hosts were very attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend Avgi’s apartment!

We spent a few nights in the accommodation and would definitely come back. The house is very quiet and you can reach everything from there by car without any problems (beaches, shops, restaurants). The accommodation was clean and exactly as described. Spiros was also a super great host who was immediately available and always tried to make sure we feel comfortable and above all very welcomed. Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed our time in Corfu. The apartment was located only about 15 minutes away from corfu old town which was perfect. The accommodation itself was clean and modern with a swimming pool that was extremely well kept. The swimming pool is only shared with one other apartment so it’s mostly vacant which is great. Anastasia was kind and always so helpful. We would really recommend a stay here.

Δεν ξέρω από που να ξεκινήσω. Αρχικά μόλις φτάσαμε στο νησί ο Ανδρέας μας οδήγησε ο ίδιος στο κατάλυμα. Το σπίτι ήταν εξοπλισμένο με πολλά παραπάνω από τα απαραίτητα. Μας παρείχαν εξάδα με εμφιαλωμένα νερά , καινούρια απορρυπαντικά και σφουγγάρι πιάτων , κεράσματα , και κάψουλες espresso. Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος και φαινόταν με την πρώτη ματιά ότι αυτό το σπίτι φτιάχτηκε με πολύ μεράκι. Επίσης η κίνηση με τα φρεσκοκομμένα λουλούδια στο βάζο του σπιτιού μας συγκίνησε ιδιαίτερα . Η τοποθεσία απίστευτη , μέσα στις ελιές , και με την καλύτερη θέα των παξων μέσα από ένα μονοπάτι. Ειλικρινά δεν βρήκαμε τίποτα αρνητικό και σίγουρα αν επισκεφτούμε ξανά το νησί το κατάλυμα αυτό θα είναι ξανά η επιλογή μας. Ευχαριστούμε για όλα! Εις το επανιδείν.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. L’hôte est adorable et disponible. Le logement est accueillant et confortable. La vue est magnifique et le village de Chlomos est très mignon. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour un séjour typique de Corfou et dans le calme de ce village.

A beautiful home and we loved our stay here. We had an amazing time exploring Corfu with this as our base and spent lovely afternoons in the garden watching Swallows. Thank you, Panagiotis, for your excellent recommendations and for being accommodating. Mamma Maria is Wonder Woman, thank you for being so patient and we loved hearing your stories!

Athanassia and her parents were incredibly friendly and made us feel like home. We were greeted with a wonderful dinner cooked by Athanassia’s dad and it was such a fantastic, friendly welcome! The place is wonderful. You can never get bored of the beautiful views from every room. It is perfect for 3-4 couples / small families. There was enough space for everyone and we never felt “stuck” with the same people. The pool is such a wonderful addition and a complete must have in hot summer months. We absolutely enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and did cook quite a lot. Swings is a nice addition for families with small kids - it was the main place to hang out. Also the garden is big and has many trees and plants and it was amazing to just roam around and for kids to look for bugs and flowers. They were never bored there and we stayed for 11 nights! Loads of tavernas in 5-10min drive distance. The roads near by are not really for walking so we suggest to use car for commuting. Thank you so much ❤

We spent 3 nights at the cottage and absolutely loved it. The garden and the views are amazing. We didn't see any people on the beach apart from a local fisherman so it did feel like having a private beach. The sea is shallow, warm and safe to swim. The garden is beautifully maintained with sun loungers, tables and chairs, a hammock and a BBQ. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. The nereast town, Lefkimmi, is a 10 min drive away and has 2 supermarkets. The town is small, with not many tourists and not much to do. We didn't mind for 3 days as we wanted a quiet place to catch up but bear in mind that you will need a car to drive to more lively places and some people might find the location too quiet. There is a nice day trip from Lefkimmi port to Paxos and Antipaxos. Konstantinos was a very responsive host.

Pozytywne zaskoczyły nas nowe meble inne niż na foto,nowy ekspres do.kawy i inne potrzebe wyposazenie potrzebne na tygodniowy pobyt wi -fi działało bez zarzutu.Plaża długa i piaszczysta,prywatne miejsce parkingowe bardzo na plus.Klub punktualnie ściszal muzykę o 22.Gospodyni pomocna i kontaktowa.Widok rekompensował kilka schodów do codziennego pokonania.Bardzo miło spędziliśmy urlop

We had a great stay at Ioanna’s. It’s very peaceful, well equipped and a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. We all had a truly relaxing holiday. Ioanna is super-friendly and helpful/ we couldn’t have asked for more.

A wonderful, private, spacious villa in the centre of Paxos. Maganzia was walkable for restaurants, baker, supermarket and coffee. A couple of other restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed several walks from the villa as well as the short drive to the port for a hill free walk if needed. Andreas was a great host, showing us the way and introducing the villa. Our pool was cleaned regularly, our cleaner visited far more often than we expected which was great. Kitchen is good for basic cooking (breakfast). A proper BBQ would have been a bonus but that did not spoil our time we will certainly visit Paxos and this villa again.

It was a very beautiful place. Best if you have a car to see the whole island. The apartment is very clean and the mini market 5min by foot away. The beach is amazing, the water is crystal clear and the beach also.

Villa Fioraki was a gorgeous spot to spend a few days with friends. The pool and outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and caters for a large group well. The location is slightly remote so make sure you have considered transport options and consider the cost of taxis in your trip planning if not planning to hire a car. Amazing host, very responsive and helpful, would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a Corfu getaway!

Christo a été un hôte parfait : il a été extrêmement proactif lors de notre arrivée puisqu’il est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport pour nous guider jusqu’à la villa où il nous avait laissé un panier repas en guise de cadeau de bienvenue. Il a toujours été extrêmement réactif au moindre souci que nous avons pu rencontrer, nous a fait des recommandations d’activité ou de restaurant tout à long du séjour… S’agissant de la villa, elle a satisfait à toutes nos demandes et même au delà : spacieuse et décorée avec gout, la piscine était extrêmement belle, les chambres bien rangées, les salles de bain et la cuisine très propres… La vue était imprenable, l’endroit était calme et paisible, tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un excellent moment sans déranger le voisinage qui est pratiquement inexistant. Je recommande donc largement de séjourner dans cette villa où tout autre logement qui serait géré par cet hôte. Encore merci pour tout Christo, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable grâce à toi !

Me and my friends had such a great time here, the villa was just as described and everything we imagined. So spacious, and the views were incredible! Christos and his family were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Even though the villa was up a hill away from the town, Spiros, Christos' father, was so accommodating with giving us a lift to places we needed to get to and arranged our airport transfers too. They also provided us with an authentic Greek meal one evening, with such a small charge. I would definitely recommend as it was absolutely delicious, all homemade and also with delicious wine to accompany. Thankyou you for making our trip so special and enjoyable, and we hope to visit again. Our only complaint was that we had to come home :(

We really enjoyed our stay at the loft and it was a pleasure to meet Anne, our host. She perfectly took care of us throughout our stay. The loft is quite modern and is fully equipped with everything you need, and we were happy to have an A/C available. The porch was equipped with a comfortable lounge which we enjoyed every night when watching the stars. There are also a couple of sweets cats living outside of the house including a little baby cat which we loved so much. Driving to the next beach takes about 10 minutes and supermarkets and great taverns are located in the village. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back again if we would visit Corfu again! Thank you Anna !

Nantina’s place was fantastically situated on the beach with its own garden. The house was spotless and Nantina was extremely proactive to all our queries and had a very good communication instructions to get to the house even though we only arrived at 12.30am nighttime. We stayed at the end of October so most beach restaurants were closed but we were happy to shop and eat in. The weather was a perfect 22 degrees and blue skies. We’ll be back!

Cette maison est idéale pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et la tranquillité, au milieu d'une forêt d'oliviers. Le jardin est apaisant, même les chats vous laissent dormir en attendant sagement votre réveil (par contre, faites attention à votre petit-déjeuner...). La maison est totalement conforme à la description et Ioannis est très réactif et agréable. Nous avons été très touchés par les petites attentions, merci encore ! Corfou est une île magnifique et cette partie de la côte n'est pas impactée par le tourisme de masse. Les gens sont vraiment très accueillants. Seuls les moustiques peuvent se montrer un peu agressifs mais la maison a des moustiquaires à toutes les ouvertures donc pas de soucis. Seul problème, le retour sous la grisaille... Nous n'avons qu'une envie, revenir !

Theososia è stata gentile e ospitale. Ci ha accolte con un cesto di frutta fresca e una ciambella da lei cucinata. La sua casa è bella e piena di confort. La consiglio vivamente.

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Aris und Maria gefühlt und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Der Kühlschrank war mit dem Nötigsten gefüllt; wir haben frische Eier und etwas von der ersten Gurkenernte bekommen. Die Gegend war sehr idyllisch. Ein traumhafter Garten mit vielen unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Entspannen. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet (genug Geschirr, Gewürze, Essig, Öl, Spüli, Kaffee, Honig,... Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine). Insgesamt hat es sich wie zu Hause angefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Location, location, location is just fantastic. if you like to see beautiful sea straight from your balcony this is a place for you. The view is to die for! I would highly recommend. Apartment is very clean and perfect for a couple. We spent a lot of time enjoying balcony as well. Bed mattress is firm.
