We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

Un Week end en famille merveilleux dans ce fabuleux endroit ! Il ne manque rien ! Le gîte est superbe, l'environnement parfait. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un grand soleil, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la piscine et du jardin. A proximité de lieux d'intérêt. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommandez de venir y passer quelques jours, vous ne voudrez plus en partir ! Merci Katia

Het was een geweldig verblijf in Le petite maison. Heerlijke natuur, prachtig zwembad en een enorm grote tuin. Echt genieten; hier kom je volledig tot rust.

Un immense merci à Frédéric pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, le cadre est magnifique, le logement au top et tout est pensé. Je recommande fortement.

Sejour en famille (enfants et petits enfants) qui nous laisse un excellent souvenir. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Piscine chauffée le TOP. Gite très reposant en pleine nature et proche d'AMBOISE. Cordialement. Famille FANTOU

Excellent séjour dans ce havre de paix et de nature au milieu des châteaux de la Loire ! Ancienne bergerie rénovée avec goût, chaleureuse et spacieuse donnant sur une terrasse avec vue sur le pré des chevaux !!! Evelyne Et Pierre sont des hôtes très accueillants amoureux de la nature et des animaux , possédant un domaine familial magnifique et plein de vie!

It is a unique cottage in a fantastic location. So quiet with great views and the private pool is gorgeous. I couldn’t fault it. Jean was a delightful host and made us feel very welcome.

Très bon moment de détente chez Sophie piscine et sauna intérieur juste au top cadre magnifique bassin avec petites grenouilles très agréableet bien entretenu. la maison à tout les équipements nécessaires Vous avez juste besoin d'apporter votre petite valise. merci Sophie.

Superbe hébergement avec un très bel extérieur. Nos hôtes ont été très flexibles sur l'arrivée et le départ. Ils nous ont bien conseillé sur les visites à faire notamment le site du château de Chaumont / Loire et ses magnifiques jardins. L'environnement est superbe et très calme.

Geneviève est une personne très sympathique qui a le sens de l'accueil. Nous avons passé un très agréable et reposant séjour dans sa charmante petite maison. Avec nos 12 pattes nous avons profité de son grand jardin au charme bucolique. Une mention spéciale pour ses animaux chien, chat, poules tous très sociables. L'environnement est très calme . La grande cour clôturée permet le stationnement des véhicules en toute sécurité. Une belle adresse à recommander!

L'orangerie du parc du château avait tout pour plaire. Un accès libre au parc et à la forêt, une grande tranquillité et un très bon confort. Valérie nous a indiqué une très bonne adresse de restaurant et les châteaux de la Loire étaient tout proches. Un séjour parfait. Merci à elle.

La maison est très agréable et bien située, à proximité de Blois et non loin d'autres châteaux. Pascal est très sympathique et avenant. À noter qu'il y a des frais pour le linge de lit, mais le rapport qualité-prix reste intéressant.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Très bon séjour. Jérôme est un hôte très sympathique et réactif. Le logement est très propre et très bien conçu. Les extérieurs et l’intérieur sont aménagés avec beaucoup de goût. L’accès au gite se fait en parfaite autonomie. Une place pour garer le véhicule en toute sécurité avec une mention plus pour la borne de recharge. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement qui correspond au descriptif.

Spacious, modern place surrounded by quiet farms. A short drive to a supermarket, bakery and cafe. Nothing within walkable distance. The hosts were very quick to respond. Google Maps may put you on dirt roads to get there so be careful with driving directions.

Zoé et Rémy sont des hôtes charmants et chaleureux. Très à l'écoute des visiteurs, on sent qu'ils ont à cœur de les satisfaire au mieux. Nous recommandons leur joli gîte et très confortable. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir, si l'occasion se présente...

Wow. Words cannot describe the experience of staying at Catherine’s place. It is an oasis, a retreat, a truly magical experience. The house itself is incredible, with such care put into every detail. The gardens and outdoor space is a true highlight. The photos do not do it justice. There are incredible flowers, herbs, vegetables. The river is just a walk down the hill and beautiful to sit by any time of the day. You wake up and go to sleep to the sound of the river and the birds. We cancelled almost all our plans upon arrival to spend as much time as possible at the cottage. We went to an incredible farm 5 minutes away to get local produce, meat, and cheese which we used to make all our meals at home. If you wanted to go out to eat, there are plenty of amazing places nearby. It’s also a short drive from Blois (about 12 minutes), which we used as a jumping off point to rent bikes and take a gorgeous ride to one of the castles in the area. Highly recommend!!!!

This is our second stay at Solange’s beautiful, peaceful and charming property, which is perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. This quintessentially French property was perfect for us in every way! The kind of property we normally pass and remark on as to how lovely it looks….and it’s just as perfect on the inside too. The bed is comfy. The lounge is interesting with its unique wood burning stove and the kitchen full of interesting crockery, plus all the essentials to cook a great meal including a new Smeg oven! The shower is fabulous and it’s always lovely to find that the host has supplied a good supply of towels, loo rolls etc too! The outdoor space is really pretty and a lovely place to sip a glass of local wine. There was even a small car port for soft top car to retreat under when we had a rain shower. Thank you for your hospitality Solange and we look forward to a return visit soon.

We really enjoyed our stayed at the Gite. The location was perfect for exploring the Loire Valley, and it was very close to Blois if you wanted to stop at a grocery store, etc. The pool was fabulous and our daughters really enjoyed it after a day of chateau site seeing. Cathy is a very responsive and delightful host and she gave great recommendations. The Gite was very well appointed and had a very nice kitchen for preparing meals. One nice surprise is that there was so many great walks you could take from the Gite, with a chateau or manor at every turn. I feel fortunate to have stayed at such a lovely place.

We stayed with family at Florence and Abdel's home and it was wonderful. We were 3 adults and 3 kids with plenty of space for all of us. Florence was very proactive in making sure we were accommodated and even helped with us to fix a WiFi issue. She was able to book us a nearby restaurant recommendation which was very kid friendly and open late on a Sunday which was much appreciated. The kids loved the pool, goats, chickens, and trampoline. We really had a nice relaxing time in-between sight-seeing the nearby chateaux. The only thing I would recommend is bringing your own toiletries as there was no shampoo/conditioner/body wash at the property which would have been helpful for us, but maybe I misunderstood this in the listing. Everything else was well stocked and Florence even provided coffee and milk for us. There was a great Nespresso maker and espresso machine. We really enjoyed and loved our stay. If we are in the area again we would love to visit again. Do not hesitate to book! ❤️

Un très beau logement décoré avec goût. La literie est très confortable. La localisation géographique est intéressante pour rayonner et visiter les châteaux de la Loire. Hôtes très accueillants et réactifs, toujours à l’écoute.

This property is perfect for relaxing or exploring the beautiful Loire Valley. The patio area, overlooking the heated pool and surrounding fields with horses, offers a tranquil setting, especially in the evenings when hot air balloons drift across the sky. Amboise, just 20-30 minutes away, is a charming town, ideal for a leisurely lunch.

Nous sommes littéralement tombés amoureux de cette jolie maisonnette pleine de qualités : on veut la même ! Non seulement l’espace a été optimisé au maximum et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, mais tout a été pensé pour que le locataire se sente accompagné : aucun objet, aucun accessoire pratique ne manque, avec beaucoup de choses inattendues en libre service. On peut être étourdi et avoir oublié sa brosse à dents ! La literie est confortable, les serviettes douces, et le wifi performant. Quant à l’extérieur, quel plaisir de prendre l’apéritif dans le salon de jardin dans un calme absolu… Bref, un 10/10 sur toute la ligne, et un contact très chaleureux avec Vanessa qui sait prendre soin de ses invités et répond très vite à toute sollicitation. Tout simplement bravo et merci !
