Absolutely amazing, peaceful stay at the chalet! Beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. Easy train ride up from lauterbrunnen and 5-10 min walk to chalet. Very cute and quaint!!

This little castle was a great way to see beautiful nature and authentic Northern Italy. I could easily walk to the store and driving down to Lake Como only took an hour, so it was an easy day trip. The locals were friendly and food was great. Guido provided some excellent suggestions of things to do and places to eat. I loved falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of all the waterfalls nearby as well!

Philippe, Melinda und Theres waren tolle Gastgeber und wir haben uns wie bei Freunden zuhause gefühlt. Sie waren sehr darum bemüht, dass es uns gut geht und uns an nichts fehlt. Wir hatten zahlreiche schöne Gespräche mit ihnen und die drei haben uns mit tollen Tipps zu möglichen Unternehmungen in der Gegend versorgt. Die Unterkunft ist zentral und nah an Ausflugszielen sowie gleichzeitig super idyllisch und ruhig gelegen. Wir haben es sehr genossen, abends die Kühe wenige Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt zu beobachten. Tagsüber hat unsere kleine Tochter die Terrasse und den Garten inklusive Spielplatz geliebt. Die Wohnung an sich ist großzügig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir hatten zu dritt ausreichend Platz und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten und das Sofa waren sehr bequem und es gab sogar Kinderspielsachen, über die wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft und hoffentlich können irgendwann noch einmal eure Gäste sein!

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

We absolutely loved our stay in Wengen at this Airbnb, it wasn’t too hard to find- and the views were just incredible. The hosts were extremely responsive and communicative through everything. The space was clean and exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again!!!

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely amazing for us family of 4. The setting is peaceful and private, with stunning views that made it feel like a true escape. The cabin itself was spotless and cosy and solidly built. We especially enjoyed peace and quiet and lying on the sofa looking across at the big mountains on the over side of the valley. This hut is well equipped with good quality cooking facities, equipment and knives, and we appreciate the soldar handsoap and the washing up liquid. The host was responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. It’s close to great hiking spots and a nearby town with a shop, yet still feels secluded. We left feeling refreshed and restored and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this gem in the mountains.

Uns hat es sehr gut in diesem schönen alten Haus gefallen. Die Eingangstür wird mir immer in Erinnerung bleiben, denn so eine tolle Tür sieht man selten. Eine sehr nette Nachbarschaft, und die wunderschönen Schweizer Berge. Was will man mehr!

Wow-wow-wow. Wie immer, super! Wir übernachten dort schon 2te Mal unterwegs von Italien. Blitz sauber, wunderschöne Umgebung, alles was man braucht für one-night-stay:) Vielen Dank!!!!!! Immer wieder gerne!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt au dem Hof. Es gibt vielen verschiedene Tiere und wir bekamen die Möglichkeit überall mitzumachen und alles zu entdecken. Unsere Tochter war genauso begeistert wie wir. Simea und Beda waren herzlich und haben uns viel gezeigt und erklärt. Vielen Dank!

Das kleine Haus in den Bergen Zahnradbahn - perfekt um in dieses entspannte Dorf zu kommen Der Geruch des Häuschens verspricht sofort entspannende Stunden Die Dusche ist die reinste Form von Wellness - heiss, schöner Duschstrahl und auf Wunsch die Regenwaldbrause Klein und fein - finde ich treffend Hühnerparadies - ALLES wird verwertet. Ausser Fleisch Grün - hinter jedem Fenster erwartet dich wunderschönes grün Und dann diese Ruhe - nur das zwitschern der Vögel Rosen, direkt vor dem Eingang - jeden Tag blühen neue, und die duften verführerisch Diese kleinen Details - so stelle ich mir ein zu Hause vor In der Nacht der Regen der auf das Dach prasselt - so heimelig und umhüllend Ja die Küche - alles da was ein Kochherz erfreut, einfach starten Mein Ziel - dieses Häuschen zu jeder Jahreszeit einmal erleben!

Mein Aufenthalt im charmanten Mini-Chalet von Karin war grossartig. Das Häuschen ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und versprüht eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre. Ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt. Karin ist eine ausgesprochen herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Ihre offene Art und die liebevolle Begrüssung haben mir den Aufenthalt versüsst. Ein wunderbarer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und neue Energie zu tanken – ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Wir haben zu viert einen kurzen Familienurlaub in dieser Unterkunft verbracht und es ist nur zu empfehlen! Die Lage ist ruhig, ländlich und sehr schön. Der Bauernhof der sich auf dem Gelände befindet, war eines der Highlights für die Kinder. Auch die Unterkunft war makellos. Man hatte ausreichend Platz und alles da was man braucht. Zum Frühstücken oder abends um mal abzuschalten, konnte man sich entspannt vor die Tür setzten, das Wetter und die Ruhe genießen und hatte im Hintergrund noch die vielen Wiesen mit den Pferden und Kühen. Der Check-In sowie der Check-Out waren total einfach und entspannt. Auch der Gastgeber war in seinen Nachrichten immer sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir würden immer wieder gerne hinfahren!

The perfect stay in quiet Lierna! We loved this little place with amazing views of Lake Como. Giulia is a very good host and helped us plan our trip and book reservations. She even arranged a car service to help us get around when we didn’t feel like driving. Highly recommend!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, but gave us complete privacy. We felt right at home! The neighborhood was peaceful and close to train station/bus stops. Their amenities and furniture comfort were great. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, calme et reposant. Le logement est idéalement situé pour visiter la Suisse environ 1h / 1/30 des grandes destinations (Berne, Neuchâtel, Lausanne, Montreux). Les hôtes sont aux petits soins et proposent de délicieux produits.

Merci pour l’accueil. C’était un séjour agréable. Le chalet est propre. Un super endroit calme avec une magnifique vue des deux cotés. L’hote était gentille. Elle a laissé les enfants nourrir les antilopes. Je recommande fortement ce chalet.

El alojamiento de Ursula nos gustó mucho. Si bien queda un poco más alejado de los principales destinos turísticos y el acceso sin auto puede ser más complicado, vale la pena si buscas tranquilidad, una linda vista y un departamento bien equipado con todo. Por último, le agradecemos a Ursula por su amabilidad y respuesta ante cada consulta que le hicimos. Recomendado!

Kate was amazing! This is by far the nicest Airbnb our family of 4 have ever stayed in. It exceeded expectations. The location was great, only 10 minutes from Lucerne and so peaceful. Very close to grocery stores too. The space is lovely and the air conditioning is so welcome because it was hot! The beds are so comfortable that our first night after our flight was our most restful. The rooms are clean and modern but also homey and comfortable. Kate was very responsive and answered all our questions and gave great advice about the local sites. I would absolutely stay here again!

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans le logement proposé par Roland et Martina Tout s est très bien passé Accueil chaleureux avec des jolies surprises à manger et à boire Appartement très propre, cuisine bien équipée, un salon cosy , une chambre calme avec une literie confortable et à l’exterieur une table et un parasol installés dans le jardin pour profiter des repas dehors par beau temps Les vélos disponibles très pratiques pour aller au village Et si l’on souhaite y aller à pied, c est à 20 minutes par la route principale agréable fréquentée principalement par des marcheurs et des vélos et en alternative des jolis sentiers dans la verdure avec de jolis paysages Les randonnées aux alentours sont époustouflantes avec des vues sur les montagnes incroyables Roland et Martina ont été très accueillants, soucieux de notre bien être et ont veillé à ce que l’on ne manque de rien On recommande à 100%

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!
