Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Central Province

The place is located right next to the river and provides great view from the hall and balcony. Host Mr.Lakshanth was wonderful and friendly and has maintained the place the so well - it's squeaky clean! Place is pretty close to the Kandy city area around 10mins drive to tourist destinations. Would love to visit again!

The host and his family are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. There's a pleasant balcony out the back where we enjoyed eating our meals. It's a twenty minute walk into town, or a quick Tuk Tuk ride. Scooter hire is available, and we made use of it to explore Sigiriya and the local area. The neighborhood is peaceful and welcoming.

Our stay here was truly special. The place is cute and cosy - like right out of an Enid Blyton book. Their adorable pets - cats Lucy and Sally and dogs Toby and Sandy can become the perfect furry companions sometimes :) We fell in love with the food as well. Starting from the wholesome lunch with rich portion sizes of rice and 4 different curries to the breakfast of hoppers, caramelized onions, pancakes and homemade orange marmalade- aunty’s home cooked meals made us come back for more! They could also arrange a scooter for us for 3000 LKR per day that helped us explore Nuwara Eliya as per our wish :) Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone visiting the charming little hill town.

Staying at Muditha's place was wonderful. The apartment is a little outside of the city center but can easily be reached by Tuktuk. There are a few local markets nearby, we found a grocery store and a local bakery with tasty snacks that can easily be reached by foot. It is surrounded by small temples and lots of greenery, which makes it a good location for peacefull strolls around the neighbourhood. The apartment is very spacious and clean. There is no AC but there are fans in the bedrooms and since the location is a bit higher up, it's not too hot at night. The hosts were very honest and warm people. They gave us privacy but answered within minutes if we ever had a request. They even showed us their garden and let us say hello to the chickens 🥰 They helped us with our every need and even made sure we got on the local bus safely on the day of our departure. I would definitely recommend staying at this place if you are spending a few nights in Kandy!

Athula is an extraordinary host. The place - run by him and his wife - is beautiful, serene, well maintained, and very well equipped. The garden is a delight. Athula and his wife also went out of their way to offer help when needed. I cannot recommend this property more.

We had a great stay here for a family of 5. The hosts are very friendly and greeted us to show us around the house. Location is vehicle-friendly and the views are amazing! Highly recommended and we would definitely come back again.

The host were very warm and welcoming. Every room had the mentioned amenities. We checked-in pretty late, but the host had zero issues with this and didn't bat an eye! Staying here literally felt at home - warm hosts, zero disturbance. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy!

We had a great stay here, with the apartment being spacious, clean and very comfortable. Sathis was very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay easy, with suggestions on activities, restaurants and transport. Sathis was a great communicator and super flexible in letting us leave our luggage there after check in. This was a huge help and we really appreciate the gesture. I would highly recommend staying here as it is in a great location, close to the lake, close to the temples but away from the bustle of Kandy and with Sathis being a great host.

Stay was very comfortable and cozy. Place was as described in the picture. All equipments were in good order. Host was ready to welcome us at the door step . We had a great stay.

We stayed 5 nights at Cecilia Cottage and did not want to leave once our time was up. A beautiful and peaceful apartment that felt homely right away. The host sharmini went above for all our requests and made our stay very special. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you very much for everything!

+ves * Spacious living area and kitchen * Very detailed directions to reach the place. * Lot many printouts around house on direction and steps to follow, no room for confusion. * Host is helpful and can also drop you / pick you up from for additional cost. * Value for money stay option. - ves * The location is slightly off the main town center. Hence you will need to relay on cabs each time you step out. This cost adds up (~ 900 LKR one way to Kandy town) * House located on Ground + 2nd floor. One has to take steps, since lift not available. Can be challenging if you are having any health limitations. Do note that luggage will be moved in a small lift, so it's just you who will have to walk up without carrying any load.

Felt right at home. Peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. The place is ideal for a couple or a single traveler. Pro tip if you take the train go to Kandy and use Uber or Pickme to the location. The Peradeniya Station is closer but harder to hail a ride. I would definitely come back for a visit.

Great place with amazing view. The location is on top of the mountain, it’s little hard to get around on the foot, otherwise, the view is definately worth the travel! Amply of space with ac and well equipped kitchen.

Wonderful Stay – Worth Every Penny! I recently stayed at a penthouse-style accommodation in Nuwara Eliya, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The place looked exactly like the photos shared online – stylish, clean, and beautifully designed. It’s just a short walk away from Gregory’s Lake, which made the location perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenic views. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, with all the kitchen amenities we needed for a convenient stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the quality and design of the place. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway in Nuwara Eliya!

The flat in Nuwara Eliya was perfect for what we needed: two nights in a clean and spacious apartment. The flat has everything you need to make you feel like home: comfy beds, TV with access to smart tv, great kitchen, fridge, etc. It’s also very close to the Gregory lake and an amazing cafe that we went to for the 2 mornings we were there: Ayurveda Coffee Shop. Communication with Jeni was fine too, although we never met, the arrangements to check in/out were easy and clear.

The Grand Winterbury apartment was a great find for us to stay in Nuwera Eliya. Not far from the city centre yet private location. The apartment was well maintained with functioning kitchen with necessary equipment to make tea or coffee and to make a small meal.

Spacious, clean flat with a balcony overlooking the river and some lovely furnishings and art work. Responsive host and lovely caretaker. We especially appreciated the assistance with transport to Kandy from the airport, the solid breakfast, and the late checkout. Within tuk tuk distance but mercifully removed from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

Jason’s place was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Nuwara Eliya. We were a party of 4 travellers and loved our stay thoroughly!
