Cottage holiday rentals in Central Frontenac

What a beautiful property! Went for a girls trip and it was the perfect spot for us. Spacious for 4 people with an awesome deck and lawn to enjoy. It was so peaceful to sit out, watch the lake and read while you drank coffee in the morning. There were games we could play, a great fire pit to sit around and a hot tub for when ending the night. The space was very clean and organized, and had everything we could need. Would love to stay here again!

My family and I had a fantastic time at Benita's place! The decor was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We can't wait to visit again!

I hosted my bachelorette at this stay and it has to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at as an Airbnb! Highly recommend! 10/10! It has so many options to enjoy the lake (kayaks, paddle boards, trampoline all available). We all loved the 3 bathrooms since there were 7 girls, and very well accommodated everyone! Overall, excellent & perfection!

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee on the dock and ending the evenings in the hot tub, sauna and lake under the stars. Great swimming in a very clean fresh water lake. The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to fun extras like kayaks, paddleboards, and a great firepit area. You can tell the hosts really put thought into creating a welcoming, relaxing environment. Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and the little touches throughout the home made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature!

We had an amazing stay at the Mellow Yellow Cottage! We are a family of four and invited my parents. The Cottage was so clean, spacious and had a lot of personality. We all left happy and relaxed! The kitchen is renovated and had every appliance, dish and utensil we could have needed and more. We spent loads of time on the water and on the dock. I was grateful for the qty and variety of water “toys”. My 9 year old and 16 year old were kept busy. The fire pit was used every night as was the pool table. It was quiet and private and was the perfect tranquil escape for your family. It was nice to have grocery stores and restaurants within 15 -20 min. The visit to Kingston for a few hours was also enjoyable. Overall amazing stay, highly recommend for families of varying ages. Host was engaged and proactive.

This was my second time at Rebecca's place. As always it was clean, well stocked, and so incredibly peaceful. You cannot beat the views and the walk out sandy beach. I always feel right at home there. The beds are so comfy, the couch is nap worthy, and I could sit outside in an Adirondack chair and read all day long. Thank you Rebecca for the lovely accommodations. Highly recommend!

Very quiet place! Perfect to relax and enjoy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and private. It was beautiful to lay in bed and listen to the wildlife as we headed off to sleep. It was so cozy by the wood burning fireplace in the evening . The historical pieces that were included in the decor and the books about the history of the house were a nice touch. Highly recommend hiking at the Eagles Nest trail near by.

What can I say... The place offered a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere the little cabine offered everything i was looking for my weekend getaway. I only wish I would have booked for a longer stay as I dint have time to explore the lake . Definitely a next time in the near future. thanks to the host for the great hospitality. I would recommend this place 100%

My friends and I had an great stay at Colombe's Cottage. The lake was perfect for a few morning dock jumps, Hot tub nicely situated for lounging when it starts to cool off, and living room cozy enough to watch a thriller when it's time to hide from the Bugs. Taking a swim around the weed free dock and beach is a definite must. Colombe was very quick and responsive to any questions as well.

We have had the pleasure of staying at Elsie’s Lyncreek cottage for several years now. What keeps us coming back? Peaceful and quiet surroundings where you can totally relax and recharge. We love just to sit and watch the river for wildlife and read a book. We really appreciate the care and attention that Elsie gives the cottage - every year we see improvements and updates. This cottage was amazing. The place was entirely as described and the prior reviews were spot on. Roxana was very helpful, gave tons of recommendations and was very kind and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, the AC was perfect and I literally can’t think of a single critique. A really nice touch with the s’mores station that my kid basically ate all of. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

We stayed at Magdalena & Hubert's Brownie A Cottage during the Victoria long weekend. The hosts were amazing, communicative, and responsive throughout. The cottage was peaceful, clean, and had a fully equipped kitchen. I would recommend staying here for anyone interested!

We were 5 adults and stayed at Peter’s cottage for 4 nights. We found the cottage comfortable, cozy, clean and well-appointed. The grounds are lovely with lots of seating. We took out the canoe, kayaks and SUP and toured the lake which is beautiful. We went to Gallery on the Bay, a 5 minute walk away and really enjoyed meeting the owner and local artist. We did the most beautiful hike at Sheffield conservation area, a 20 minute drive away. Highly recommend. Everything was very straight forward and Peter was very responsive to all of our questions. I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

Our stay was beyond all expectations! If we could give it ten stars, we would! Chris was so friendly and helpful and made us all feel so welcome. The grounds were gorgeous and the cabin was a true escape, complete with fireplace, comfortable sofa and beds and every convenience you could possibly need. We enjoyed evening cocktails on the dock while two geese swam nearby with their goslings and then two beavers swam right under the dock! Morning paddle-boarding, birdwatching and enjoying Sharbot Lake’s many attractions made the weekend one of the best I’ve had. I can’t recommend Lehlewa enough if you’re looking for a perfect Lakeside retreat!

Wow!!!! It’s even prettier than the pictures! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We were a large family of 8 adults and there was more than enough beds, towels, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for us all. 🙌 The kayaks were fun, the fire pit was lovely, and the dock was so picturesque. Summers in Canada = mosquitoes & blackflies, so bring bug spray and/or thermocells obviously 😉 Our host was gracious, kind, and responsive - a pleasure to deal with! We can hardly wait to visit again! 😃

I spent my bachelorette weekend with three friends at Amanda and Josh’s cottage, and it was absolutely perfect. We were lucky with the weather and got to spend lots of time outside - playing badminton, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, and soaking in the stunning view. The fire pit and fireplace table were such cozy touches, especially in the evenings. We made great use of the kitchen and loved lounging in the den. Overall, it was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing weekend. Highly recommend!

Tanners place was a perfect hideaway in nature for my son and I. His place was clean and just as described. the layout is unique and functional. Tanner and his coHost Chuck were very professional, responsive and proactive with their communications. We unfortunately had a power.outage due to a major storm during our stay and both, Tanner and Chuck handled the situation perfectly. My son and I will definitely be back and If you're looking for a quiet getaway with all the amenities and convenience of home, I can't recommend Tanners place enough.
