A spacious place to stay with a great location.

Very nice place to stay, good beds and sauna, bubbles crowned everything

Lovely, bright house in a quiet location, very comfortable to vacation with dogs. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils, but we couldn't find a cheese planer. A large glazed deck adds space if needed, and it's sure to be a lovely extra room in the summer. The sauna had good steam and there was plenty of space too. The house was a little dirty and messy in places, it didn't hurt, but of course the cleanliness would be a plus. In the big yard, the dogs have nice space to play, and you can get to the woods right from the yard. For the dogs, it was also inside that there were plenty of toys in the yard and a water cup in the kitchen and a bed under the stairs.

The cottage has insufficient cleaning supplies, and it was a bit of a surprise that there was no freezer. Otherwise a very good stay 👍🏽

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The apartment was well-maintained and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was kind and accommodating, always ready to answer questions and provide assistance when needed. Host's commitment to ensure a positive guest experience really stood out. Very cosy, clean and well equiped cottage within walking distance from Ähtäri zoo. We enjoyed surrounding nature trails and fire places by the lake.

Very well maintained, beautiful and clean Mökki. The sauna lodge, located right on the shore of the lake, offers a breathtaking view especially waking up in the associated bedroom offered wonderful sunrises. The house has enough space for a large family with plenty of room outside for play. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Eriks Mökki to others.

Nice cottage with everything you need for a stay at Himos. Plenty of amenities and a few minutes drive to the ski slopes and 3 minute walk to the lake.

Tidy cottage in a good location

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

The place was extremely beautiful and cozy. All the details were taken into account to the last detail. Peaceful. Good beds, where sleep was sweet. Kitchen well equipped. Check-in easy and flexible. All in all a wonderful place!

A spacious and peaceful place to stay and a friendly and helpful host who provided us with a coffee cats cooker 😁 From the property, a short trip to the mall, where we made affordable discoveries. We also had time to check out the scenery in the Salamajärvi National Park, which is less than an hour's drive away. We had a great time!

This place was just what Airbnb is at its best! The cottage was cozy and tidy. The atmosphere was peaceful and close to nature. The host and his family made us feel welcome and the breakfast ordered separately was delicious. The yard was full of all kinds of wonders and things to do for the kids, and they said when we left that it was the best place they had ever stayed. You definitely have to come again!
