Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Central Denmark Region

It's a really nice cottage, and the location and view are simply amazing. You have the most beautiful sea view whether you are cooking, sitting on the sofa or eating breakfast on the terrace. We 👌🤩 had the pleasure of a couple of wonderful days in the house with lots of peace. The nature and sea views are balm for the soul and great for calming the limbic nervous system 🙏🏻🪷 A completely calm summer evening in the large and warm wilderness bath overlooking the water and with a bird of prey hanging and hovering in the air 100 meters away, simply so delicious 👌🙏🏻🌊🕊️☀️🌿🌳 I give my absolute warmest recommendations of both Robert as a host and their beautiful cottage.

I immediately felt comfortable in these beautiful, bright rooms. Iben has furnished and decorated everything with a light hand, without anything imposing itself. Hyggelig!

You step right into a classic western movie, with a modern touch. The cabin exudes true cowboy vibe with its powerful beams, raw wood materials, and fine details. The centerpiece of the cabin is the open fireplace. Everything contributes to the feeling of being far away from everyday life and closer to nature and the simple life. Ideal for couples, families, and small groups looking for something authentic and atmospheric. The only downside is the road close to the cabin and the sound of the cars. But if you're dreaming of an adventurous stay with character, it's a huge recommendation from here!

We were only passing through to Norway and unfortunately only spent one night in the apartment. We would have stayed longer. The apartment looked very nice and clean. The check-in was absolutely easy and hassle-free. We will be happy to come back :)

It was just fantastic. Upon arrival, I just felt cozy. The house is so lovingly furnished, with so much attention to detail. It is actually much nicer and absolutely corresponds to the photos and the description. I was happy about rainy and windy days. After a long walk on the beach at Rygårde Strand or kiting in Grenaa, you could sit comfortably by the fireplace and enjoy a hot chocolate. The surroundings are so beautifully quiet and yet you have a small supermarket 500 m away that is open every day. It was a great time and my husband and I were totally relaxed in the end. We met Maiken herself a couple of times and she is a kind-hearted person. She also had some tips for the area and also for our kite-surfing heart :). It was nice to meet you. A big thank you!

Our stay at Merete’s stunning seaside home was unforgettable. We didn’t want to leave. It was like stepping into a fairytale and we will definitely go back! We left feeling revived and inspired. Everything was wonderful and made our senses come alive. All amenities were perfect. Super comfy bed, kitchen was so well stocked and the shower was spa- like with door open to the fields and the sound of the wind in the dune grass 🥰 The surroundings were beyond breathtaking and the design and aesthetic of this truly Danish thatched cottage were simply beautiful and of great quality. It is so evident in all the small touches how much this space is loved by the owner ♥️ Merete was an impeccable host and left us the most thoughtful gifts on arrival 💕. I can’t wait to return.

Sus was incredibly kind, responsive, and flexible throughout our stay. The environment was very quiet and clean, making it a comfortable place to stay. Although our stay was not for travel purposes—we were temporarily staying here while preparing for an international move and closing down our nearby home—we still found the location very convenient for travelers as well. There were several supermarkets nearby, and the bus stop was close, offering easy access to the city center. If we ever return to Aarhus, we would definitely love to stay at Sus’s place again. We had an amazing stay. Elly and Bjarne are amazing hosts and very friendly. Kids had a lot of fun. Elly took the kids along to feed the horses, goats and chicken. We are also provided with fresh eggs. Would like to visit again.

Lovely apartment with great light and beautiful furnishings. Some of the reviews mention that the bed is small for two, but my partner and I found it totally fine. Karrina was kind enough to allow us to store our luggage before and after check out and even came over to help fix the WiFi. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Aarhus!

Nice and peacefull location just out of town perfect for getting some rest. the house is amazing and has everything you will need. Flemming is a wondefull host aswell!

Nice little cozy apartment. Nice location close to forests and lakes and within walking distance of Silkeborg city center. Garden with a babbling brook. Friendly and welcoming host couple. A really nice place that can be highly recommended.

"As it would be at home in France", Peder and Kirsten are simply beautiful people: kind, respectful, cautious about the happiness of their hosts. Very touching little touches to please. As for the place... (4 days) it is a small paradise by the lake, an extraordinary view with a fantastic sunset and possibility of breakfast with swans, numerous and diverse birds in a refreshing peace. The place has everything you need, very comfortable beds with a magical lake view. Multiple hikes or walks are possible. Summer activities for everyone. We highly recommend coming to take a magical break in this caring home. The value for money is great. We wish Kristen and Peder a nice continuation.

Loved Thomas’ apartment, felt very homely and pleasant. Lovely art on the walls, comfortable bed. The second bed is a futon which was very comfortable. Great shower also. All in all, a lovely space to base yourself whilst checking out Aarhus.

Everything was just perfect. Super clean apartment. Perfect view and very fast communication with landlord Kristin. She had a lot of tips for the surrounding area. Very nice parking in the basement. Super super place and host.

The apartment was really good and well received us, we got our electric car charged and because I played golf early my wife was allowed to be in the apartment a little longer. Really good... everything

We loved Andreas' place! Very cozy, but with everything we needed. Lots of restaurants in walking distance, including the always-incredible Danish bakery!
