Holiday rentals with lake access in Central Bedfordshire

We had a great stay at Okeme’s place! The place was spotless, well decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The bed was super cozy, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back!

Had a lovely weekend at Ian and Judith’s. We primarily booked it to go to a concert at the Emirates which is only 20 mins on the train from Stevenage. The place also has the bonus of being next to a lovely big park where they have Stevenage parkrun which we did. The room was nice, comfy and clean and both Ian and Judith were friendly and helpful. They also have a beautiful cat Midnight who let us have a nice fuss of him.

MP and his House of Poetry were great. A simple, clean, fresh, and friendly place to stay. MP himself was wonderful. I didn’t meet him until checkout, but he immediately offered me a lift--saving me the cost of an Uber--and was great to talk to during the drive. I even got a poet recommendation--a first in all my years of staying at Airbnbs.

We had a lovely stay in femi home, she was very welcoming friendly and a lovely host as were her family, comfortable bed peaceful surroundings we would not hesitate to stay there again Thank you femi for our wonderful stay !

I had a great stay with Mary. I found the room really comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. Mary was friendly and very helpful.

I booked Linda and Keiths place (Which is their family home) only a few hours before I needed to stay and Linda couldn’t have been more helpful. The House is beautiful and I was met on my arrival by Linda and Keith who were genuinely friendly and took time to show me around and make me feel comfortable in their home. They really couldn’t do enough for me. I stayed for 2 x nights and occupied a huge space on the ground and first floor the space where the quality of the furnishings is first class. The bedroom with a large wet room shower area was perfect for me and the bed was the most comfortable ever. You certainly get more than your money’s worth here. The house is beautiful. Linda and Keith are the perfect hosts. Even the refreshments in the kitchen is more than just coffee/tea and milk. The fridge was stocked full of juice, a wide range of fresh fruit and yoghurts. Certainly more than I expected and there was fresh bread, fresh coffee and even cake. I’ll be staying again

The birds nest was even better than the photos great views from the accommodation Great amenities spotlessly clean Sarah was a great host easy to message and always replied promptly. We cannot recommend the Birds Nest highly enough really enjoyed our stay Keith and Ann

Great cosy place to stay. Walking distance from town centre and local transport routes. The flat was fully stocked with bottled water, coffee, milk & biscuits which we really appreciated. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. PS Would definitely recommend the rainbow cafe for breakfast down the road also!

Amy is very kind, friendly, attentive and a quick responder. I felt very good in the flat. Very clean, bright, spacious with a great bed. Felt very cosy in the flat and there is also a big balcony with an open view. It is more of an industrial zone, but i liked the fact the view is not looking into some other block of flats, i cherished the view of the morning and evening sky. The grocery store is literally around the corner. You have two lines that you can use if you want to go to central London. Central line (Hanger lane-13min walk) and Piccadilly line (Park Royal station - 7min away) The area of a flat is peaceful.

Great place for a great price

Frank was the best host I’ve had so far on AirBnB, he was fast to communicate despite the large time difference from the other side of the world. The Studio was perfect and exactly what I needed for my stay in Maidenhead, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice, private and cosy space away from the main streets.

Many thanks to Jaany and Richard for proactively offering extra assistance to make my in-laws stay as comfortable as possible. It was perfect for a one-night stopover in the area.

Fantastic view of London. Large apartment. Easy 10 walk to the Underground station.

5 stars. Apartment is pretty, sparkling clean, airy, and has all amenities. Perfectly situated for Bletchley Park. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic time staying in Henley for 4 weeks whilst I was between houses. Very comfortable and homely place. Everything that I needed was there and the host was always super helpful. Great location as 5 minute walk to Henley bars and restaurants whilst being in a really quiet street so no disturbances at night. Nice neighbours and pretty church across the road. Also a sunny garden which was great with the recent warm spring weather.

Lovely self contained cottage in a beautiful setting. Everything you need to stay and we were even able to host family and friends for lunch and dinner during our stay.

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful cottage of Mooi. Really unwinding after the hustle and bustle in London City. The house is provided with everything you might need. We had beautiful weather and then it is wonderful to have breakfast in the garden. The forest next door is a plus! Beautiful is involved and easily accessible as needed. We'd love to come back!

Really lovely stay. Extremely pristine and private airbnb, perfect for dogs and so peaceful! If your only knowledge of the English countryside is from romantic movies, then this is pretty much 100% as dreamy as you would hope. Angela was always available and responded in an extremely timely manner. We have stayed in many places that claim the pool is heated only to be disappointed. This pool was so warm we could swim in 18c weather on a cloudy day. We loved everything about our stay and the kitchen is very generously stocked with knives, cutting boards, kitchen scissors, etc. We could not recommend this airbnb and the hosts enough! The neighbours are also so kind and warm and even suggested walking routes for us and the dog. Don’t hesitate and book in now!
