Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cenon

My husband and I recently returned from a month-long stay at Alexandre and Precillia’s home. Our stay was perfect in every sense. The home was exactly as pictured, the location unbeatable for exploring all of Bordeaux and several day trips to the Left and Right Bank as well as Arcachon, etc. The walking distance to the tram and local grocery store(s) was also a nice benefit. A bit more about the home, it was very clean, well-organized and extremely comfortable. The washing machine and basement space were also very convenient; the basement kept our wine purchases at a perfect temperature! We felt safe and secure. It must be noted I am a persnickety traveler; we would stay again. Alexandre and Precillia we great hosts, accommodating, thoughtful and always available for questions or assistance. Your stay will not be disappointing.

We had the loveliest week here. It’s a beautiful property, in a idyllic spot on the river, with a lovely pool and garden. The inside of the property was beautiful and felt brand new! We found we could walk to the train station and into the small town easily to explore the area. You will also have the friendliest hosts! Thank you for a memorable stay

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Sylvain. La maison est très agréable avec une piscine et des activités à disposition (terrain de pétanque, table de tennis de table, plancha). Idéal si vous souhaitez profiter d’une maison paisible tout en étant à proximité de Bordeaux. Sylvain s’est montré réactif pour répondre à nos demandes et il a tout fait pour faciliter notre arrivée.

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It was spacious and the quality of the bedding was a standout. Our family really enjoyed the Scandinavian experience with the sauna and the spa - a must visit for the winter! And special thanks to Stephanie for the warm welcome and being helpful before and during our stay.

I can’t say enough about Marie and Gilles, the owners who live next door, who were kind and incredibly helpful during our one-month stay. They are the best! The house is beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are lovely, with trees, flowers and lawn, and beyond the property are rolling hills of vines. The kitchen is well-equipped, the wi-fi is great, and everything was perfectly clean. This is a jewel, and I highly recommend!

Emma's place is stunning and our group had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and we had everything we could have wanted and needed at Emma's place. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is wonderful for outside dining and for the children to roam around. We really didn't want to leave! Emma was so kind to help us with our constant questions - she is the perfect host. Thank you for having us, Emma!

Nous avons passée un très bon week end entre amies dans le logement de Camille et Adure. On s’y sent comme chez soi. Le logement est propre, rangé, fonctionnel et décoré avec goût. Le Logement étant desservi par le Tram à 2 min, il est idéal pour visiter la ville de Bordeaux entre amis tout en ayant un point de chute avec jardin, plusieurs chambres et un espace commun spacieux très agréable. Voiture pouvant être stationnée dans l’allée privée avec accès sécurisé. Merci encore pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil chaleureux !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans un environnement calme et près du Tram. Centre historique accessible facilement.

The perfect place for a (long) weekend! Alexandre's place has everything you need to spend a few days in they city, but it has all the amenities to have a diner at the apartment, or to relax if you don't feel like being out all day. The apartment is easy to reach, very well connected to the rest of the city and the Marche du Capucins within 5 minutes walking distance. It's clean, fully equipped and Alexandre was a great host.

Las largas escaleras para llegar al piso de Alain lo hacen todavía más acogedor. Está muy bien ubicado en el centro, pero alejado de las zonas más bullosas. Alain y Paul fueron siempre muy amables y respondieron positivamente a nuestras solicitudes. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Emilie, l’appartement était très bien placé, calme et lumineux, et la communication a été parfaite, avant, pendant et après le week-end. Mention spéciale pour la bouteille de vin et les carambars en libre service qui ont plaisamment agrémenté notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cet appartement, et reviendrai sans aucune hésitation.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, le chalet est très agréable et tout confort petit plus pour la clim avec ces grosses chaleurs (surtout avec un bébé) ! Nous étions idéalement bien placés. Merci à Solenne pour sa disponibilité! Je recommande.

Kommunikation super. Ein- und Auschecken unkompliziert. Die Lage vom Haus sehr schön. Das Haus und Garten sehr sauber. Der Pool ein Traum. Das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt und hat ein elektrisches Tor um mit dem Auto reinzufahren, super Privatsphäre. Unsere Highlights waren der Grill und die Fahrräder.

Absolutely stunning villa, great to share with friends and family. The location was perfect, very tranquil, a beautiful vista to wake up to every morning. Very spacious villa, with great facilities. Super host, very speedy to reply to any questions and gave some super recommendations. Very flexible on check in, check out time too!

WOW!! Just returned from a week at James & Eileen’s villa in Bourg to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary . There were 14 of us- 9 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children. All info provided prior to arrival by the hosts and the house mgt team (James, Lisa and Joe) was 5*! The check in/out & on hand support during our stay was absolutely flawless . This villa is stunning - more impressive than the photos! Bourg is a beautiful rural village and the villa was extremely spacious - perfect for family gatherings, beautifully decorated and felt sumptuous. Ambiance laid on for ourarrival& amenities for guests are unlike other private villas on offer for a party of our size .Felt immediately like a home from home.Pool was immaculate, all bedrooms beautifully furnished and living/lounge/cooking areas were of such a high standard. Villa in a superb location for exploring the vineyards. Recommend renting bikes to explore, enjoy BBQs at the villa, markets&citadel in Blaye. BOOK

Nous avons passé un excellent grand week-end dans ce très bel endroit. Nous étions 14 adultes et tout le monde a beaucoup apprécié le lieu, la maison, le jardin avec la piscine, le brasero…La maison est très confortable, très bien équipée et très bien décorée. L’emplacement est superbe, au bord de l’eau sur la route de la corniche, très agréable à parcourir à pied ou à vélo. Et l’accueil de Denis est parfait!
